chapter 95
Caught You In My Arms
At 11 pm, Damon came back along with his father. "Where's my wife? Is she not back yet? ", James asked as soon as Benjamin came out with two servants behind." madam informed me that today the charity event happened longer than usual so she will be staying nearby and will be back by tomorrow early morning"
James sighed."what about Madison and her husband?"
"They are still in their private apartment "
"Here He's forced to be alone without his wife but these two are having honeymoon almost once every month", James lamented."oh, and the twins"
"They are asleep master"
James nodded.
"Where's Priya?", Damon asked impatiently. He's waiting for his father to finish asking all his questions.
"She's in the room opposite to your's young master. She's with_", before he complete his sentence Damon almost ran towards the stairs and hurriedly climbed the steps.
James chuckled looking at his fleeing back," My son is just like me"
"Absolutely master", Benjamin nodded he still vividly remembered how the young, newly married James used to always flee back home like a bird.
"And Benjamin, what about the bodyguards"
"Half of them are in patrol other half is taking rest in our workers' quarters. They are separated into two teams and patrol in shift base, master"
James nodded.
"What about dinner master?"
"We already finished Benjamin. If it's late means don't wait for us you go and take a rest. You're not young anymore"
Benjamin smiled. He's very lucky to have such a compassionate man as his master.
Damon is exhausted mentally and physically. But the thought of seeing Priya back home made him persist. He reached his second floor. He excitedly opened the room opposite his room.
There he saw his girl sitting in Indian style in the bed, looking at himself with wide eyes like a deer. She's wearing skin-tight yoga pants and a white sweater.
Damon immediately went and embraced her tightly to his heart's content. Priya giggled." at last, you're in my territory ", he whispered huskily in her ear and kissed it making her shiver.
"Hmm...Damon"
He held her face in his hands,"
From now onwards nobody can disturb us, especially your bodyguard", he neared her face with the intent to kiss her.
*Throat clearing sound*
"Her bodyguard is still on duty Mr. Demon Damon", Swetha laughed like a villain with her arms crossed across her chest.
"Why you're still here?", Damon turned and glared at Swetha.
"Where else I'd have been?"
"It's already late. Why are you not in your room?"
"Since I'm her bodyguard ", she leisurely walked towards Priya, "It's only right that I must always stick to her", she said and pulled Priya to stand up.
"What do you mean?"
"It means we are sharing a room", Swetha shrugged.
"What?", Damon almost shouted.
"Yup. Also", she made Priya sit in the other corner far away from Damon and stood leaning on the nearby wall across the bed.
"In our country, we won't let young men and women stay alone", she declared triumphantly.
Damon narrowed his eyes at her. It seems he needs to follow his way to keep this pest busy.
"Anyway, Priya has been waiting for a long time to discuss something with us. So listen to her"
Damon also recalled that before he left she told him that she wanted to do something with him.
Damon keenly looked at Priya."what is it?"
Priya cleared her throat, "whatever I'm going to say now it may be unbelievable but listen carefully"

Flashback
Today Priya went to a coffee shop with Lucas and his bodyguard. It's like magic, spending time with Lucas She almost forgot everything about her problem. After they exited the cafe and returned to the car they realized that they left Lucas's phone on their table itself. So she alone came back to retrieve it that time.
While she was walking towards the cafe, a strange Indian teenage boy, wearing a full khaki dress which would be normally seen in Indian temples stopped in front of her. His eyes curiously scanned her with pity in his eyes.
She didn't know how to respond to the boy who was stopping her way.
"Are you lost"
"You're the one who's going to again get lost in the cycle of karma", he spoke with a familiar Indian accent.
"What?"
"It's a pity. Don't make the same absurd decision again"
What decision are you talking about, "are you again going to sacrifice yourself for your lover And other people "
Priya's eyes widened in bewilderment. She indeed thought of sacrificing herself before but later she changed her mind.
"You! Who are you? What do you mean last time"
"Last birth "
"Last birth! What_", a red car stopped near them stopping her conversation. The window of the back seat opened to view an elderly Indian man with a large beard fully covering his face. His full demeanor says that he's a yogi.
"Karna, coffee vangitiya ", the man questioned the boy.
(Did you buy coffee)
"Guruji, marandhutten", the boy said with an embarrassed smile.
(I forgot)
The man's eyes met Priya's eyes, and eventually, his eyes showed an enlightened expression like he knew everything happening to her. His eyes shined with compassion.
Priya's hands automatically joined in front of her chest, "vanakkam guruji ", she said lightly bowing her head. Like an impulse, all the respect and sincerity came to her.
(Vanakkam-greeting in Tamil )
The man nodded with a smile. Again this smile is filled with love and compassion.
"Guruji, we can't stay on the road for a long time", came the voice of the driver.
"Karna va " ( come)
The boy nodded and moved toward the car. Priya immediately stopped him in panic, "Wait". If she didn't know anything she couldn't have been this curious. But now she heard something about her past life. How can she let them go just like that?
"Guruji, he's saying something about my last birth and repeating the same decision and all. I am also able to see that you also know something about it. Can you please tell me more about it ", she pleaded joining two hands against her chest.
"Karna", the man's eyes met the boy's, "what have I told you about its not good to unfold karmic secrets ?", the boy bowed his head in shame.
"But how can I see people making the same stupid mistakes again and again", the boy mumbled lowly but Priya heard him.
Guruji sighed helplessly like what he was going to do with him.
"Child, Old layers of karma can stick to you only if you keep adding new layers of karmic glue"
" that means?"
"Which means karma is nothing but memory and action. if you don't stop your pattern of the karmic cycle, history will repeat itself. if you don't take responsibility for your life, you will get trapped in the layers of karma"
Someone honked behind.
"What should I do guruji?", Priya asked anxiously.
" Remember two things First, you're life itself so are we. Live your life. Don't let outside situations influence your inner peace. two, your life is in your hands you can change everything including your karma only if you take responsibility for yourself"
While they were speaking The boy silently got on the car.
"Guruji, can I meet you again?"
"Sure. but tomorrow I'm leaving New York and going back to India. but I have a feeling you will change your cycle and we will soon meet somewhere ", he smiled with radiance.
The car left leaving the deep-thinking Priya behind.
