Priya noticed that her bestie and Adam is here. She bounced to them happily. She's very happy to see her friend here. Even though the people are nice here, she still felt uncomfortable in this new place especially with that demon. But now seeing the familiar faces, she felt she can be herself now.

" Oh my gosh you look so gorgeous", Priya said while tightly hugging Swetha.

"Appadiya", Swetha said with a smile still hugging Priya. (oh really)

"Unmayavae. Even though my sweetie is always beautiful. Today the dress which I've selected for you is making you look like an angel", Priya said while keeping both her hands on Swetha's shoulder while looking at her up and down with a sly smirk. (truly )

Adam who was forgotten at the side looked at Priya with widened eyes.

'fuck.shes looking goddamn beautiful', when she excitedly ran towards them, even though he knew that she's showing this happiness only because of Swetha, at that moment his heart ached to get this reaction for himself.

Previously when Swetha told about her best friend coming to NY due to some personal problems, that time he didn't had any interest in knowing about her. But now he regrets not asking anything about her. He just thought that they both are like a normal friend but he seems to have guessed wrong. They both are more than blood-related sisters, nope they are like twins with different personalities but the same likes.

It seems like his presence is at last noted by this cruel beauty.

Adam sighed," it seems my blue eyes lost its power, should I wear some other color, what about green ", he said tapping his forefinger in his chin, showing a deep thinking notion.

Priya laughed awkwardly with confusion written all over her face.

Adam sighed again, it still pains to know that it's only him who remembers that night completely, every second of it.

Swetha and Priya blinked at each other and the next moment laughed.

Adam looked at them like looking at laughing idiots.seeing his face, the girls laughed even more.

Priya felt her mood becoming more better being with these people. even though she didn't interacted with adam much, with the little time they all spent together, she can tell that he's a good man and she also realized Adam always been like a guardian to both herself and Swetha, protecting them and caring about them like a family. its time for her to accept her first male friend.

"You're so cute. Happy Diwali to you too Adam ", Priya hugged him happily with a warm smile.

Adam became stiff with the sudden hug. This hug remained him of the time when he carried her bridal style.

Seeing the warm smile in Swetha's face, adam understood that priya accepted him as a friend.

Adam returned Priya's hug while awkwardly patting her back softly, he too felt self-conscious not to touch her bare waist.

" pribaby I'm hungry", She controlled her hunger for a long time, now smelling the amazing smell of her favorite food, she can't control it anymore.

Priya laughed and moved away from Adam.

With the sudden loss of warmth, Adam frowned at Swetha.

"After you mentioned it, I also feel hungry ", said priya with a pout.

Awww.so cute. Adam shook his head

" didn't you guys ate lunch "

"Nope we ate only light breakfast after that we didn't eat anything "

"Why?"

"One reason is we are busy ", said priya while averting her eyes.

" What is the other one "

"Hmm..the other reason is we want to keep our stomach empty for the party", both girls looked at each other and looked away embarrassingly.

Adam facepalmed himself, " ok ok come let's go the dinner area"

"Yup let's go and eat ", two girls enthusiastically walked towards the Indian food counter, with Adam following behind them.

Both the girls started to pile up their plates with almost all items. The silent adam looked at his friends who were eating Like beggars who have never seen food for many days.

Nobody would believe that these girls are the daughters of the richest men in India.

"Adam your not eating", asked Swetha after eating to her heart's content.

"Just looking at your eating, my stomach became full"

" You can't say like that. Here taste this biryani ", Priya said with her mouth full of food while raising her spoon towards him.

In a dazed manner, adam opened his mouth and ate it without protest.

" hmm it tastes good "

"I told na..come on taste this chicken Manchurian too "

"Addy taste this mutton chukka ", Swetha said raising her spoon.

When adam looked at her without opening his mouth, " what the? You will eat only from priya huh", Swetha said while raising her left eyebrow with a warning look.

"It's not like that", adam obediently opened his mouth to eat from Swetha.

Both girls started to feed him one by one in a harmonious manner. adam can't able to say 'no' to Priya's warm smile and Swetha's threatening eyes.

Without the trio knowing their eating totally affected the party atmosphere. Everyone's eyes keep darting towards them here and now, especially men's eyes. Their eyes are reflecting interest towards the two beautiful laughing women while most of the women's eyes are filled with anger and envy. Those two girls without doing anything getting the attention of the men whom they are trying very hard to please.

James who's standing in the party area with his friends noted that the eyes of people around him keep on darting towards the dining area. when he turned back he saw priya is eating happily with two people. They must be her friends. He never has seen her look so happy before. She's like a teenager having fun. Unconsciously his mouth curved into a warm smile. When his eyes darted, he noted his friend Andrew also has the same warm smile on his face along with his wife Olivia. Lisa who is standing beside him also has the same confusion. 'Why this couple is looking at them like a parent looking at their happy child ?'
