Damon felt Like thousands of arrows pierced his heart. He dazedly looked at her.

This is the first time she showed a smile to him.

"Damonnnnnn", Priya yelled while stomping her right leg like a child.

Wow so cute. Damon came back from his daze.he cleared his throat and awkwardly nodded at priya.

" thank you chellam ", priya happily gave one flying kiss to Damon.

This time he felt millions of arrows piercing his hear. right now his heart is beating like crazy.so this is how it feels like getting a flying kiss from her. He really likes this feeling.

'Chellam', he needs to find meaning for this word. Very Soon he has to learn her language.

Wait.why she's behaving very oddly. Is she drunk? If she always behaves like this during her drunken stage means, he will happily make her drink. But only when he's with her.

" see boss itself gave permission, now anna, give me that mic ", she pulled one mic from the singer, " and here play this karaoke ", she gave her phone to him.

Hearing her cheerful voice, Everyone turned their attention towards her.

Damon felt a Deja Vu looking at this scene.

Everyone cheered for her to sing especially men.

Damon looked at them coldly and resolved to himself that he will not let her get drunk at parties.

" thank you ", she bowed her head, " I'd like to dedicate this song to my dad, even though its kind of a love failure song, it's my dad's favorite ", she said while shrugging her shoulder playfully. She then turned and gave a signal to the man nearby to start to play the karaoke.

She slowly started to sing the melody song. she didn't looked at anyone, in particular, her eyes held a faraway look like reminiscing the past.

Damon observed his priya who is now showing a painful expression in her face. She is literally letting everyone feel her pain through this song. her eyes are so glassy, showing her unshed tears.

Is she feeling sorrow for her dad? Damon felt a dull pain in his heart seeing her pain. At this moment he just wants to hug her, sheltering her away from all her suffering.he wants to console her.

even though no one understands the song but they can feel her emotion from her voice, thorough her facial expression. the music of the song itself gives a profound heartache feeling.

After completely singing her song, she closed her glassy eyes softly, a single drop of teardrop fell in the corner of her eyes.while face looking down, she quietly withdrew her phone from the now stunned singer.

The whole place is filled with complete silence. Pin drop silence. everyone looked at the saddened girl with various emotions. Many felt confusion that 'why she's sad? ', some men just want to console the sad beauty, some still jealous girls rolled their eyes and thought 'she's always trying to get attention'.

James is the first one who started to clap, waking everyone from their tranced state. Followed by him, everyone started to clap, giving rise to the thunder of applause.

Priya deeply bowed her head once to the crowd and immediately fled away from the scene embarrassed, while wiping her continuously shedding tears. she doesn't want others to see her pain.she doesn't want anyone's pity.

In order to distract the people's attention away from Priya, James immediately called the nearby waiter and whispered," immediately start the fireworks".

The next minute, a blast of colorful fireworks started to blast. Everyone automatically forgot about the beautiful girl and looked at the sky to admire the fireworks.

When he turned around to speak with Damon, he noticed that he's missing. With an understanding smile on his face, James walked towards his family.

" Darling is she alright ", Lisa asked worriedly reflecting the same expression as his other family members as well as Smith couple.

" Damon went after her. He will take care of her "

Everyone visibly looked relieved except Mr and Mrs smith. They both had a conflicted expression on their face.

Adam was discussing important company matter with his secretary on his phone, near the mansion door in order to stay away from the party noise. After finishing the call, when he returned back near the part area, he got momentarily stunned hearing Priya's singing voice.

He stood like a statue hearing her lonely beautiful singing voice. Even though he can't see her face in the entrance, he can easily sense her sadness.

Why she's singing such a sad song. usually, she won't show her real feeling outside. What happened to her?

With anxiousness Adam jogged inside, there in the dark corner he saw swetha being embraced by the unknown man . when he got near, with the bright lights from the fireworks, he found that the unknown man is that Damon's friend and He's laughingly back hugging the struggling Swetha, who is now scolding him in her mother tongue.

"What the hell is going on here "

Hearing Adam's voice, that man reluctantly left Swetha.

Now released swetha punched him in the stomach and came towards Adam with a worried look.

"Oww", grey grunted holding his stomach.

" Adam let's go and find priya "

" who is he?"

" I'll tell you later, now come on ", both of them hurriedly walked towards the party area.

Grey looked at the fleeing figure, " feisty kitten", he whispered while slightly rubbing his injured stomach with a smirk.

' I can guess that Adam is not a competitor for me. poor Damon. even though why I'm still feeling wary of him?', grey thought while rubbing his chin.

"See you very soon, kitten ", he said towards the back shadow of the girl, who is now trying to get inside the excited crowd.

then He took his phone and dialed his driver number and said, "let's go", with his usual cold voice .with one final look towards the girl, he turned and walked away.

Next chapter i'm not going to promise it's tomorrow. Because last time I can't keep up the promise 🙈 due to various reasons.but I assure you i'll update within 2 days some little flashback and lot of romance is coming up 😉.
