"Party poopers. Always someone is disturbing my time with Priya", Damon grumbled.

Priya giggled. Frustrated Damon is very cute.

"What's so funny ", Damon asked looking at now grinning Priya.

Priya shook her head while trying hard to suppress her smile.

"You need a punishment baby?", Damon asked with a smirk while coming very close to her.

His lips are so close that either one small movement also their lips will touch.

"Da_damon ", Priya whispered

"Hmm", Damon nuzzled his nose with her's softly.

~knock~

Damon closed his eyes frustratedly.

"Sshhh", Damon made a silencing gesture to Priya.

Then he made her stand two steps away from the door and opened it slightly so that his head can only be seen.

Emily looked at him with wide eyes and opened mouth.

What is going on here? When she looked down at the door , there she saw the shadow of someone standing . Oh my is that Priya. Just now she saw her dashing towards his room.

"What's the matter ?"

Emily cleared her throat," sir, a large group of media people surrounded the entrance. What should we do now, sir"

"Arrange the meeting in the lobby itself. Ask the security head to take proper measures"

"Yes sir"

"Also bring me a mask or some scarf from the storage room "

With a knowing smile, Emily looked at the door, "yes sir, I'll inform you back once all the arrangements are made "

With full excitement, Emily walked away.

Damon immediately closed the door and looked at Priya, who is now covering her face with embarrassment.

"What happened now?", Damon laughed while removing her hand from her face and again cornering in the door.

"It's embarrassing "

"Anyway, what are you gonna do about that news", Priya said changing the topic.

"You will see in a minute ", Damon said softly caressing her cheek.

"Damon, who is Angelina ", Priya removed his hand from her cheek.

"I don't know whom you're talking about "

"Someone said that you and Angelina were in a relationship before, and I'm in the one who came and seduced you ", priya rolled her eyes.

"Priya listen to me, you're my first and last girlfriend ", Damon said sincerely while holding her face in his hands.

"OMG the most eligible billionaire in NY is a virgin", Priya said with widened eyes.

Damon laughed, "sorry to disappoint you darling, I'm not a virgin "

"Oh", Priya averted her eyes.

"Baby, listen. What I had in the past is just something with no emotion, no love, no feelings. It's just some flings with no strings attached. But that too I stopped many years before. I can't erase the past but let me tell you priya, Damon came closer till their both foreheads touch," from the second I met you it's just you, only you, you're my present and you will be my future ", he pecked her lips like enclosing a seal.

Damon looked at her lips with intense longing .

"Sir, everything is ready "

Damon sighed and diverted his eyes away from her lips  to her  eyes which  are now glistening with unshed tears.

"Baby, what happened", he said taking her into his embrace.

"you're such a sweet-talker. I'm touched ", Priya said in a small voice while snuggling closer to him.

"Who touched my baby? Only I'm allowed to touch her ", Damon said with fake anxiousness while removing her from the embrace and touching her waist here and there.

Priya laughed while trying to escape from him.

He kept on softly poking her ticklish spots.

" Damonnnnnn ", Priya whined.

~knock ~

Damon released her, " I'll take care of you later ", he said and kissed her nose.

After a minute of composing themselves, Damon opened the door.

This time Damon opened the door completely, exposing the blushing Priya too.

Emily winked at Priya.

"Sir, everything is ready. Here is the scarf you requested", she said giving a red scarf.

Damon nodded and accepted the scarf.

He himself covered the half of the face of priya with the scarf.

When Priya saw the ambiguous smile in Emily, she started to move away from Damon.

"Damon "

"Baby, stay still", Priya froze hearing his words.

' why he's calling her like that even in front of Emily'

"Good ", he said with a satisfactory smile.

Priya whose eyes and forehead are only uncovered blinked at Damon.

" So cute ", Damon whispered and kissed her forehead.

"Let me protect you Priya ", he said looking at her eyes with determination.

Just looking at his unwavering affectionate eyes, Priya felt like something is stirring inside her. She felt like the wall she built around her heart seems to be cracking.

When Priya nodded her head, Damon smiled and held her hand.

"Let's go", he said and both of them walked with a smile on their face.

The long-forgotten, Emily nearly squeaked seeing the lovely scene, 'awww my single heart. I too want a boyfriend '

The moment they reached the lobby , the flashlight of cameras started which nearly  blinded their vision . More than 6 security guards sourrended Damon and Priya covering them.

Damon protectively wrapped one of  his arm around Priya , keeping her closer to him.

The whole entrance lobby is filled with reporters carrying cameras, Mics , notepads etc. Number of security guards are standing around them to maintain order and discipline.

"Good morning to you all , we don't have much time . So let's  make it short and precise" , Damon announced with his usual indifferent cold face.

"So coming to the topic . The news are true. I've found my precious love of my life  ", Damon said tightening his arm around the nervous Priya.

"Soon we will get married ", Priya's eyes widened hearing his words.

What the. This is a news to her too.

Not only Priya everyone stood flabbergasted hearing his declaration.

"That's a great news sir. But why did your girlfriend is covering her face "

" Oh that's for privacy.i don't want any unwanted attention to my girl. Soon she'll make a public appearance but till then I don't want any disturbance especially from you guys", Damon said in a warning tone.

Priya looked at Damon with a smile.since her face is covered no one including Damon can't see that smile.

She knew he's covering her face to hide her away from that psycho. But the moment he held her hand she somehow felt so fearless.

When she diverted her eyes, she made eyes contact with an enraged blonde woman.

Why she looks familiar? She's the woman who have her drinks yesterday. After drinking that only her mind felt clouded. Wait. That woman only yesterday introduced herself as Angelina.

Priya also noticed that the two women accompanying that blonde were the idiots who bad-mouthed in the morning. Those two women seem visibly nervous.

Now she can grasp the whole matter.

Priya smirked at the three idiots. Those two sidekicks visibly swallowed while that cake face became even more enraged.

"Thank you everyone", Damon said walked away from everyone, while holding Priya's hand.

" hello", Damon attended the call when both of them entered his private elevator.

"Damon, the person who reported that news is identified ", William said with nervousness.
