Ramesh sprang up from his bed hearing the ring tone which he specifically set for his now upgraded international devil boss.

"YES BOSS", Ramesh answered like an army officer.

"Did you completed the task"

"Yes boss , invitation is sent to everyone"

"I don't care about everyone. Did you send to him?"

"Yes, boss. First invitation is sent to Mr.Damon Miller, boss"

"What about the other one?"

"Second invitation is sent to Mr.Grey Hayes, boss"

"Good"

The call ended abruptly.

"Wuuuuuuu", Ramesh wailed loudly.

"Ammmaaaa Indha poochaandi Enna romba bayambuduthuran ma", he rolled in his bed.

(Mom. This Boogeyman is scaring me shitless)

Damon felt like he lost all his energy, his head is aching, his total body is paining, his stomach feels restless but the workload still seems to be not decreasing. .CEO position is not easy especially now he has to maintain his company as well as how father's company. Before meeting Priya he never felt work has a burden but not it's different. He didn't even tease his Priya for two-three days. Once he completes this work plans to take a vacation with Priya, for that he needs to work hard now.

He tiredly slumped on his desk.

~knock knock ~

Time is just 6oclock who's here so early.

"Come in", he answered sitting upright in his chair. It's very important to maintain his usual calm posture.

Walked in Priya wearing a professional blue bodycon dress hugging her curves perfectly, looking damn beautiful.

Damon slumped with a thud on his desk. cushioning his head on his arm, Damon pitifully looked at Priya. He can completely show his true self to her. Only her.

"Priya", he whispered.

"Damon ", Priya nearly ran to Damon with concern.

Before she was a little upset due to his lack of attention. Last week he showered her with kisses, suddenly he would appear like a ghost out of nowhere and kiss her saying it's a hide and catch game, even though it's only him who played the game, but for the past four days he didn't even approached her, he would also give her work commands in the Telecom itself, stating he would loose how concentration once he sees her face.

Swetha also said that he's already showing symptoms of losing his interest in her. She also advised that Men are like a chameleon they will easily fall one girl, when that girl accepts then soon they will lose interest in her and fall for another.

But now seeing his tired worn-out self, she feels like slapping herself, she must have already come to him to render a helping hand but all because of her damn ego she didn't approached him, she waited patiently for him to approach her first.

Priya worriedly touched his forehead.

"Oh my God, You're hot", she exclaimed.

"I know , babe ", Damon said with a weak smirk.

"Damon ", Priya said through gritted teeth.

Now, she's taking back her sorry words.

"Damon, why are you pushing yourself this much. You're already burning up. Your eyes look so heavy. Come on let's go to hospital ",Priya nudged him softly on his shoulder.

"I still have work to finish and I'm not sick, I'm just tired ,babe", Damon held her hand on his shoulder.

"No way. You can't go on like this . You're a human, not a machine. Even machine needs recovery time or recharge"

To get his recharge, he really wants to kiss his Priya.he wants to kiss her senselessly till she become dazed such that those beautiful eyes must absentmindedly look at him, only at him, with nowhere else to gaze. but now he can't. He doesn't want to make her sick too. With a smile, Damon held her hand to his cheeks and kissed it.

Priya stomped her feet with frustration, "Fine. Then let me help you with all the work. Till then you should sleep"

Damon again kissed her hand after heaving a long sigh. 'she's so cute', Till he gets better he has to consider this hand as her lips.

"What!!! You don't, believe me, I already have work experience in management"

When Damon still didn't reply, Priya sighed. Then she gently held his face with both her hands,"Damon, chellam (darling) please listen to me. Overworking is not good for your health. You want me to become your wife right, a wife is someone who not only shares your happiness she will also share your burden. If you truly consider me as one ", Priya lifted her left eyebrow.

"Priya, are you confessing to me ?"

"Th_that no-no. Not yet. I mean I didn't. Damon, are you going to listen to me or not", Priya folded her hands across her chest and glared at him with obvious playfulness.

Damon chuckled, "fine. You won.but you can't do everything alone. I'll call William to assist you. Now help me get up wifey"

Priya's face reddened due to embarrassment. All because of her goddamn mouth.

She assisted him to get to the couch, Damon took this as an opportunity and leaned completely on her.

After making Damon lie down, and she spread a blanket to cover him up.

"now be a good boy and sleep ", Priya said while bending down and patting him on his shoulder.

When priya tried to stand , Damon pulled her towards him, causing her to stumble on him completely.

"Where is my goodnight kiss?"

Priya rolled her eyes and kissed him on his left cheek.

When she tried to stand he again pulled her flush against him, "don't make me wait long, baby. I'm not a man with patience", "he whispered near her ear and lightly bit it.

Priya immediately pushed him away, "i_i'll bring my bag from my room", she fled out of the room like her tail is on fire.

Damon chuckled and slowly closed his tired eyes.

Damon woke up from his deep sleep at 6 pm. He slept nearly 12 hours straight.

When he opened his eyes he saw Priya sitting on the opposite double-seated couch along with willaim, who is having a laptop on his lap. Priya with some documents on her lap , a coffee on one hand, surfed through the documents and questioned willaim now and then.

Damon felt enchanted looking at this scene. She looks so classy, so confident, so different. She isn't doing the work as a newbie she's like working on something that she's already used to do for years. Wearing a cute messy hair bun, Her eyes completely focused on the document, she slowly sipped the coffee, with the sunset glow behind her. The whole picture is splendid.

Only one thing is like an eyesore to him which is that willaim sitting along with her. That's his place to sit.

"Damon, you're awake ", Priya removed all the objects she's holding and hurriedly came towards Damon holding a water bottle.

She touched her forehead ." thank God. Your fever subsided. Now, get up and have some water", she helped him to situp and gave him water.

Damon drank water. He felt warm inside like numerous butterflies running inside his chest. If he's going to get such a wonderful treatment means he will happily be sick for months. Wait if he's sick then he can't kiss Priya right? Nope, only two days maximum.

"Damon, 60 percent of the work is completed. You just need to see an overview of it. But not now later. now it's already late you should eat something "

Priya, Damon along with willaim all went out to have dinner.

Damon grumpily accompanied them. He wants to spend time alone with his Priya.

Two days later

Oliver looked at his boss, who's deep in thought for nearly half an hour.

His genius boss must be planning a strategy to eradicate the enemies. Usually, his boss will formulate a plan within a minute now he's thinking for a long time so this must be an extremely important plan. Oliver nodded to himself.

"I need you to get me miss. swetha's number", Grey asked.

"Huh"

"I won't repeat"

"Oh yes, one-minute boss", Oliver sent Swetha's number to his boss immediately.

"Why did you have her number with you?"

"Huh. That boss_ I felt that you will ask me someday", but he didn't expected that he would ask him now.

"Delete it "

"Yes boss", he immediately deleted it.

Wise men always stay 10 steps away from their boss's woman especially mafia boss's woman.

I planned to give two updates today. But I can able to give only one today , next update I'll give tomorrow. Last time I can't keep up my word, since you guys asked to give grey swetha scenes, I can't insert their scenes without their story overall plot right? So it took me some time to figure out ways to combine both their plots. Also, this chapter is like improving the couple's growth. Once the villain enters the last phase of this story will start, which is the next chapter.
