So without further ado, the chapter-
A regrettable notion on his part, for what Justin had seen, he wished he could forget. He looked on in shock at Avalon settled, in the grass, at the trunk of a tree.
Not just that though as a boy of curly brown hair lay on her lap. She stroked blissfully through his hair; they looked into each other's eyes without a care in the world.
"When, Ava? I need to know." The boy urged, his voice strained. He sat up abruptly before putting a hand on Avalon's waist. Justin did his best to keep composure. He needed to hear this.
The boy spoke again.
"I don't wanna hide it from anyone. Your body belongs to me and I want to shout that at the top of my lungs." He murmured sweetly, pressing his lips to her neck.
Avalon giggled at this and that was when Justin broke. She pushed the boy away from her neck with a smile before taking ahold of his hand. Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, a tone that Justin had gotten familiar with hearing when she talked with Aaron.
"I know, I'm yours, Eli. Please, understand that, okay? I'm yours." She whispered before leaning in to kiss the boy. He kissed back feverishly before they both lay in the grass, facing each other. His hand was strewn across her waist and her hand rested on his face as she slowly caressed him.
How Avalon got into an affair with Elliot in the first place.

6 months before the incident
"I was this close as well!" Danny complained, slamming the door of his locker shut, making the students around him wince at the loud sound.
"Ladies and gentleman, we have a sore loser!" Raven snorted, gesturing to Danny lazily with one hand whilst one perusing through her bag for her tattered history book. She was sure she put it in there somewhere.
"Speaking of sore, how's your wrist feeling after that loss, Danny boy?" Aaron teased, ruffling Danny's hair to which he whined. As soft-hearted as Danny could be, there was one thing that he hated truly and that was losing. So, during movie night with his friends yesterday, losing to an arm wrestle with both Aaron and Justin was something that irked hi. It irked him a lot.
"Aw, guys, leave him alone; you all did good yesterday!" Avalon interjected as she walked over from across the corridor where her locker was. It seemed all but natural to her to sink herself right into Aaron's side and his lips quirked up as he nodded his head.
"Of course, you're right, Avalon. He deserves a participation trophy at the very least." He drawled, putting both arms around Avalon as he stood behind her. His smirk didn't let up as he played with her golden tresses nor when Danny let out a whine.
"I told you, I was this close to winning!" He complained yet again, making a motion with his hands to show how close he had been to winning.
"Is he still going on about losing?"
They all turned then as Justin spoke in his usual cold tone, walking over to them, Mason by his side. Aaron laughed at this, stroking Avalon's cheek with his index finger.
"I'm not complaining; I like hearing about how I won again and again. It does things for my ego." He spoke playfully, making Raven laugh as she walked over towards Mason, nudging him with an elbow.
"Yeah and you just happened to miss his 2 hour complaining session about how he had cramps from football practice so he wasn't at his best form." She teased and Mason grinned at her words, clicking his tongue in disappointment.
"Wow, now I'm upset that we missed out huh, Justin?" He joked, putting an arm around Justin who turned his gaze away from Raven to Mason, eyes a dead grey.
"Great, you can be upset enough for the two of us." He said bluntly, making Aaron laugh and Danny pouted, opening his mouth to speak. He would have been heard had the ring of the bell not alerted them for first period and Raven huffed, rolling her eyes.
"Kill me now. Come on, Danny." She spoke monotonously, waving goodbye to Mason as she yanked Danny by his arm.
"And I was also sick which weakened my muscles!" Danny called out as he was pulled and Avalon giggled, waving her hand in goodbye.
"See you both at lunch!" She called out before turning to Aaron with a pout.
"I guess this means goodbye for us too." She said in a sad tone and he put his arms around her waist, his lips quirking up.
"So, what I'm hearing is you're gonna miss me?" He asked suggestively, making her blush and she tiptoed for a quick second to give him a quick kiss, making his smile widen.
"You better miss me more." She said coyly before withdrawing from him, making Aaron make a noise of disapproval. It only made her smile as she moved towards Justin.
"I guess I better get to lesson. Walk to second period together?" She asked hopefully and he nodded, a small smile on his face.
"Of course." Was all he said and then they bid goodbyes, just as Justin walked towards Aaron and Mason as they made their way to class together, Avalon, on the other hand, walked the opposite way to her class, letting out an internal groan at the idea of maths right in the morning. Having just been with Aaron and Justin, she had been happy, but school always found a way to strip her of her happiness, it seemed.
"Hey, Avalon!"
She turned with a smile just as Vanessa tumbled into her with a tight hug and she returned the embrace before withdrawing. Maths was irksome, yes, but her classmate always had a way of keeping it interesting with the new round of gossip. Vanessa wasn't part of the popular group with Aaron and Justin; she was more someone who flitted between groups, gathering intel and sharing it with anyone who had ears. Both her and Avalon got on very well.
"Every time I see you with Aaron, I get so jelly! How is it to be able to cling to such a hot man?!" Vanessa pouted out, but it didn't offend Avalon nor ignite her possessive side. Yes, she was a highly territorial girl, but something about the idea of having something or someone that other people wanted was something that she was very very fond of. It was as though it increased her own value; as though eyes and attention were also on her and she loved it. It didn't hurt that she was crazy about Aaron and he pampered her like no one else had before. She could only shrug bashfully.
"I don't know about that; it's just nice to be in his presence." She muttered coyly and Vanessa huffed loudly as they waded to the classroom together.
"And Justin too as well! That man is as sexy as he is scary! How did you get the hottest boys in Redwood High to be crazy about you?" She spoke again, fanning herself as though just their mere names was making her sweat. Avalon couldn't help but agree to that: both Justin and Aaron were very good-looking men, indeed! And, they both doted on her and her only.
Just thinking about it made her smile; it was because of their attention to her, that all eyes in Redwood High were on her. The girls were jealous and the men wanted her acknowledgment. It's not to say she wouldn't get attention without them. Avalon knew that, with her blonde hair and gem green eyes, she was definitely a looker. She knew that, but there was something about the male trio that had such a high allure to it. When Avalon and Justin had first met Danny and Aaron, Avalon couldn't help but feel a pull towards the blue-eyed boy. She had wanted him at first sight and had worked hard to be in a relationship with hum. At first, Aaron hadn't even looked in her direction due to her being like Justin's little sister but, with time, she had made herself someone worth looking at and- so- now they were together. Now, she was the centre of his and Justin's universe.
"Did you hear about the new guy in school?" Vanessa suddenly spoke, pulling Avalon out her thoughts. She could distinctly hear the certain tone to Vanessa's voice: she was giving intel.
"A new guy?" Avalon asked curiously to which her classmate smirked, leaning in as they walked.
"Word is, he's very cute looking: curly hair, sweet smile, the whole innocent look. All the girls were talking about him in homeroom." She spoke in a hush tone as they walked and Avalon listened to the description avidly. She opened her mouth to speak, but Vanessa spoke before she could.
"Oh shit, new seating assignment." She groaned and Avalon snapped her hand to where Vanessa was gesturing to the seating plan up on the board as they entered the class. There was scattered discussion in the class as everyone moved to their assigned seats and both girls moved closer to the board, peering up at their new designated places.
"Who the hell is Alexis Dawson?" Vanessa spoke in confusion, but Avalon wasn't listening; she was much too focused on who she would be sitting beside.
"Elliot Heffley? Who's that?" Avalon muttered more to herself and it was then that Vanessa gasped, nudging her in the side.
"Oh my god, that's the new boy!" She whispered excitedly, gesturing over to the right and Avalon turned in curiosity, making eye contact with the new boy in question.
Elliot.
He was busy engrossed in conversation with another boy as he stood over the chair he was designated to be sitting in, hiking his backpack strap higher up on his shoulder. Vanessa had been right; he was very sweet looking, in a way that would make someone smile at him. There was a certain angelic aura about him, his freckles scattering his cheeks like a painting. He looked the type to blush easily and laugh covering his face, Avalon thought.
With one final eye contact, Avalon made her way over to her own designated seating area, right beside him. It was time to finally meet the boy all the girls were talking about. She could feel all eyes on her yet again, as always, and she liked it. She liked it more than anything else and her lips quirked up in a friendly smile.
Elliot and her would make good friends, indeed.
