We finally arrive. I pay the driver and leave. We took the lift and Rosé knocked on the door.Kenan opens the door, flashing a warm smile.
Kenan: "Finally! We thought you two got lost."
Rosé laughs lightly as she steps inside, followed by Y/N, who glances around the cozy living room. The faint aroma of fresh coffee lingers in the air, and soft music plays in the background.
Everyone gathers in the living room, and Arda hands them mugs of hot cocoa.
Duru: "So, what took you guys so long? Did the instructor keep you hostage?"
Y/N: "Pretty much. He was relentless today."
Kenan: "He always is. You guys need a break."
Kenan's eyes linger on Y/N for a second longer than usual, but she doesn't notice. Duru and BarıŠexchange a knowing glance.
Rosé: "I'm drained" she sits on the couch.
Kenan smirks at Roséâs comment.
Kenan: "Come on, weâre just getting started! Whoâs up for a game?"
BarıÅ: "Youâre all going down if we play anything remotely competitive."
Y/N: rolling her eyes "Donât be so sure, BarıÅ. I might surprise you."
Duru perks up, clapping her hands together.
Duru: "Alright! Letâs play charades!"
The group groans collectively, except for Kenan.
Kenan: chuckling "Iâm in. Y/N and I will team up."
Y/N: smirking "If we lose, Iâm blaming you."
Rosé snorts, throwing a cushion at BarıÅ.
Rosé: "Fine, Iâm in. But BarıŠbetter not act like heâs auditioning for a drama."
BarıÅ: mocking a gasp "My talent is unmatched! Youâre just jealous."
They clear the coffee table and divide into teams. Kenan maintains his usual calm, though he occasionally smiles when Y/N gets competitive. Duru and Rosé exchange subtle glances but say nothing as the game progresses.
Later in the Evening
After the game, BarıŠdramatically collapses onto the couch.
BarıÅ: "Okay, fine. Y/Nâs team won, but only because Kenan was too serious. It threw me off."
Y/N: grinning "Excuses, excuses. You just canât handle losing to me."
Duru: getting up "We need more snacks. Arda, come help me?"
Arda: standing up with a grin "On it. Try not to start another argument while weâre gone."
BarıÅ: mocking a gasp "Why do you all gang up on me?"
Duru and Arda leave, carrying empty bowls to the kitchen, leaving Rosé, BarıÅ, Kenan, and Y/N in the living room. Rosé leans against the armrest, casually observing everyone.
Kenan shifts in his seat, leaning back with one arm draped over the backrest. As Y/N fixes her hair and adjusts the cushion sheâs sitting on, his gaze flickers to her briefly before returning to the TV. Itâs quick, almost imperceptible, but Rosé notices.
Roséâs eyes narrow slightly in thought, her lips curling into a small, knowing smile. She glances at BarıÅ, who is already watching Kenan with a similar smirk. Without a word, they exchange a look, both clearly thinking the same thing: "Heâs doing it again."
BarıŠleans closer to Rosé and whispers, just loud enough for her to hear,
BarıÅ: "See? Told you heâs got a thing for her."
Rosé nods slightly, her smile widening.
Rosé: "I didnât believe you at first, but nowâ¦"
Kenan, sensing their attention, glances at them with a calm, questioning look.
Kenan: raising an eyebrow "Whatâs with you two?"
BarıÅ: grinning innocently "Oh, nothing. Just enjoying the atmosphere."
Y/N, oblivious to the silent exchange, turns to BarıÅ.
Y/N: "Youâre being weird again."
BarıÅ: laughing "Weird? Me? Never."
Before the teasing can escalate, Duru and Arda return with snacks and drinks.
Duru: "Snacks are here, so behave, BarıÅ."
Arda: grinning "Or donât. Itâs more entertaining that way."
The group shifts focus to the food, and the conversation turns lighthearted again. Rosé exchanges one last glance with BarıÅ, her suspicions about Kenan quietly solidifying. Kenan, meanwhile, remains his usual composed self, not realizing heâs been caught glancing at Y/N yet again.
