Dear buttercup,

I hope you're able to travel and make fun memories in your future, some of the best memories your mother and I had before you, were when we would travel when we could, we didn't have much money but where we could go was where we went, seeing the different places the world has to offer somehow tightened your mothers and i's real relationship, the adventure and pure bliss in a vacation is magical, you're transported into a new world, filled with different foods and people, different cultures and it is so fascinating to learn about how others live, the things that are new to us is an everyday routine to them, and the things we're used to might be a rare occurrence to them, make sure you soak up all the time when your traveling, bring a camera and capture the beauty the world can offer, and try new things and if you don't have much money just know you can visit different areas with not needing much money. save money and splurge if you can on even a day of adventure, my beautiful princess always loved the idea of traveling and transporting into a new world of magic and castles, you would run around our yard pretending and dreaming of the possibilities of the world has to offer you, I know someday you will experience the great magic it has to offer and I can't wait for that moment for you.

Closing the journal I put it back into my carry on, and take a deep breath in hopes to control the beat of my heart after reading my father's words,

I put my seat belt on as we get ready to land in Scotland after our very long flight,

I look over at Aaron who is sound asleep, I smile and take a few pictures of him,

I've been looking at apartments for hours online, it's difficult to find an apartment that is the right distance from work and two people in your life,

But I found a few and after we get back to New York we're going to check them out,

After we land Aaron is still fast asleep so I quietly get up and walk over to him,

I gently cup his face and kiss the tip of his nose "Aaron get up" I softly say

He shifts a little and subconsciously pulls me until I gal on his lap, I smile looking at his peaceful sleeping face,

I lay a soft kiss on his cheek "Aaron"

"Aaron, come on get up we're in Scotland" I grin in excitement,

He mumbles a little

"What was that?" I ask

"Go back to sleep baby" he mumbles holding me closer and hiding his face in my neck,

My heart skips a beat at the new nickname, but I force myself to ignore it for the time being,

"We're in Scotland, get up" I whine

"2 more minutes" he mumbles against my neck

I smile to myself and laugh a little "sleep can wait, come on, please?"

He kisses my neck a little resulting in sending shivers down my spine,

He doesn't stop and when he lets go I already know there's a hickey without having to check,

I feel his smirk against my neck

"Aaron..." I say impatiently

"I'm awake", he says in a sleepy deep voice,

"Yeah I can see that...and my neck can feel it" I sigh

He hums and takes his head out of my neck looking at me and then my neck,

His smirk tells me the confirmation that there is in fact a hickey on my neck,

I roll my eyes "What's your obsession with giving me hickeys all the time?"

He shifts me a little in his lap, still smirking "I just like marking your pretty little body, but be warned only I get to do that"

I can't hide the smile on my face "come on you big dummy, we have two days in Scotland" I squeal in excitement

He laughs standing up and holding my thighs in place walking out of the jet with me clinging to him in pure bliss,

We arrive in Skye so we can look at the fairy pools and hike a bit around the area since it's apparently a must-see in Scotland,

Before we go we stop buy a shop and buy a bunch of snacks that are popular here like haggis crisps, toffee, Bon Bon's, and tea cakes, and we also pick some drinks,

"We need to stop by and get sandwiches so when we take a break we can eat them" I smile

Aaron shakes his head with a small smile but doesn't object,

After getting everything we then went to get some sandwiches,

after we get on our way and start to make our way to the fairy fools,

"Wow...it looks like a postcard," I say

He takes a few pictures of me and then I force him to do some selfies,

"Smileee," I say grinning

"Please, for me" I grin looking at him

"You're a little brat you know that?" He says teasingly

I hum "yeah and this brat wants you to smile"

He laughs at my comment and I click away to capture everything

He finally smiles, I then take some pictures of us giving each other a quick kiss,

Some people walking by seeing us

"Would you like us to take some pictures for you?" A woman asks in a Scottish accent that makes me grin

"Thank you, that would be nice" I nod handing her my phone

I hear Aaron beside me sighing and nudge him a little,

He wraps his arms around me from behind and the woman takes some pictures of us

"Thank you" I smile grabbing my phone

"I love your accent by the way" I grin

"Aww thank you, sweetheart" the women grins

After she leaves I look at the pictures

"Aaron look how cute we are" I smile looking at his hands wrapped around me and his gaze stuck on my face,

I look up at him to see him have a small smile playing on his lips as he looks at me

"What?" I laugh

He shakes his head and grips my chin and connects our lips for a quick sweet kiss

"Nothing you're just beautiful, especially when you're happy" he smiles

"There is beauty in happiness" I nod

He chuckles "I can see that...but you also still manage to look beautiful even when crying...so that statement is only for the boring people"

I shake my head and wrap my arms around his neck and hug him

He pulls me flush against him by my waist, I sigh in contentment as we hug

"What's this for sunshine?" he chuckles quietly

"I just wanted to hug you," I say against his neck

"Thank you for this...the whole trip," I say quietly

"You're welcome, but we're not even done yet angel so how about we continue this trip yeah?" He says kissing the top of my head quickly,

I nod and peck his neck before slowly letting myself out of his grasp

I look up at him cupping his cheeks and bringing his lips to mine since I just can't help myself

"Love you" I mumble into the kiss

"Who loves me?" he chuckles

I roll my eyes "I love you...ya big dummy"

He smirks "and I love you, my little smart ass"

"Wait so these haggis black pepper crisps are made of the liver, heart, and lungs of a sheep?" Aaron says opening the bag

"Yep the guy at the store said haggis is like insanely popular here," I say taking a crisp and placing it into my mouth

"Not bad..." I shrug taking another one

He takes one and shrugs "yeah...just taste like black pepper, to be honest"

We continue to try the snacks and treats we got as we sit on a bench looking at the beautiful view

"It's so pretty here," I say breathlessly

I grab his hand and intertwine our fingers and then place his hand on my lap

"You ready to go to the fairy pools or whatever they're called?" Aaron says in my ear

"Heck yes!! I saw so many cool pictures of it" I say beaming

He laughs "alright then let's go"

"It's so cute" I laugh looking at the fairy pool

"Very" he teases kissing me behind my ear

"Stop that tickles" I laugh slapping his arm playfully

"I'm out of breath can we take a break?" I ask

"This is like your 30th break" he laughs

I pout "so...I'm sorry I don't work out every day like you"

He smiles "alright alright take your break"

"Ooo we can eat our sandwiches" I grin

"Whatever you want sunshine" he smiles

I sit down on a rock and take my sandwich out

Aaron looks at me then frowns,

He walks over and picks me up then sits on the rock and places me down on his lap

"Why'd you do that?" I laugh

"You're not sitting on a damn rock," he says annoyed

I smile looking down at my sandwich

"You want yours right now?" I ask waving his sandwich in front of his face

"I'll eat it a little later," he says pecking my cheek

I turn my head and kiss him on the tip of his nose,

I lean my back on his chest and sigh in contentment with the strong body underneath me, the beautiful view of Scotland in front of us, and a delicious sandwich I'm about to devour...what more could you want?

I feel the buzz of my phone go off and pick it up to see a phone call from Lillian, Aaron's mom

I've talked to her quite a bit on the phone since meeting them,

( phone call with Lillian)

"hi, Lillian how are you?"

Lillian: hello dear! I'm good how about you guys? How's your trip so far?

I laugh a little "we're doing amazing, and the trip has been wonderful so far"

Lillian: we'll that's great! You guys should come over to my restaurant again after you get back, I'm sure you will be exhausted and the last thing you would want is to cook

I smile looking at the Scotland view in front of me "That's very sweet thank you"

Lillian: alright then I'll see you soon I just wanted to call and check up on you guys

"see you soon"

( end of the call)

"Was that my mom?" Aaron's deep voice says in my ear

"Yeah, she said we can go to her restaurant after we get back so we don't have to worry about cooking anything after just getting back from vacation," I say grinning

"That was nice" he nods and sets his chin on my shoulder

I turn and kiss his temple

"Yeah your mom is amazing" I smile and take another bite of my sandwich

"Yeah" he whispers while hugging me closer,

I start feeling a little sad because I wish I could call my mom to tell her about Aaron and how unbelievably in love I am, and how much fun I'm having,

But I can't and that hurts

I'm sure Aaron can feel how sad I am because he pulls me close so his mouth is along my ear

"You okay?" He asks quietly

"Yeah-I just miss my mom" I admit quietly

I feel him nodding his head against my ear,

"I'm sorry...I can't imagine how painful it must be to lose both your parents" he says rubbing my shoulder slightly

I feel a tear escape and quickly wipe it away,

"Yeah...but at least I'm not fully alone anymore," I say leaning into Aarons's embrace

He nods against my neck,

I turn my head to look at him

I connect our lips for a quick, sweet kiss that somehow makes me feel just a little better

"Did I ever tell you about how much I love you?" I whisper

"Not as much as me I'm guessing" his eyes brighten,

"You ready to go?" He asks caressing my chin

"Yeah" I whisper pecking his lips

"Okay, are you ready to go?" Aaron asks at our hotel putting his wallet in his pocket and walking over to the bed where I'm at,

"Am I ready to see some castles? Heck yeah I am" I jump on his back from the bed

He grunts at the impact and holds my thighs to keep me in place,

He walks us to the rental with me still on his back,

My mind goes to the text I got when we were getting ready earlier

Unknown number: hope you're having a wonderful traveling experience...just remember that all the fun you're having right now won't be so fun when he finds out about your secret, he will never forgive you...he won't forgive a liar

I shake that out of my mind and take deep breaths

It's fine it's probably Wren being jealous or something...she doesn't even know my secret, she couldn't.

"You okay? You spaced out?" Aaron asks squeezing my thigh,

"Just still can't believe we're traveling instead of being at meetings..." I laugh a little

I shouldn't lie...I should tell him now,

But I'm a damn coward and don't want him to hate me...

I'll tell him back in New York...

yeah...

"Well it's real" he laughs

I smile looking at his side profile as he's driving

"You're staring sunshine..." he says taking a left turn

"What I can't stare at my boyfriend" I grin

He looks at me quickly and smiles a little then gives my thigh a little squeeze

"Say that again I didn't hear you?" He smirks

"About what? That I can't stare?" I say innocently

"You know what," he says glancing at me

"Boyfriend?" I say smiling a little

He hums in response and closes his eyes at the red light and has a small smile playing on his lips,

I smile to myself and look down at my lap

"This is literally like a Disney movie" I shake my head looking at the castle in front of us

I hear Aarons chuckle beside me but don't pay attention to him,

"Here stand over there and I will get a picture of you in front of the castle" he gestures me closer to it

I grin and run to where he pointed

After we get some pictures I notice a couple of girls walking toward us,

They look about 20 years old, a couple are pushing and shoving one of them in a teasing manner,

"Hi, excuse me?" One of the girls taps Aarons's arm

He turns and looks at them with a blank expression, the brightness in his eyes a moment ago as he watched me look at the castle is gone as he glances at them,

"We were wondering if our friend could have your number?" A couple of girls giggle and one of them turns red and looks away,

Aaron glances at me and then smirks

"I'm married so I'm good," he says with a straight face

Yeah, I get why he reacted that way at the restaurant when I said we were married...

My heart doing some stupid gymnastics shit up in my body,

"You like...don't have a ring" when of the girls say in a 'duh' tone

"My heart feels like its married to her therefore I don't have anything to give you, so scram back to school," he says sternly

Wow, it's certainly getting a little hot in here...

I walk up to Aaron and slip my hand up his bicep and then smile at the girls

"Sorry stace looks like you're out of luck...the hottie is taken" when of the girls rolls her eyes

"And by the way were not in school were all over the age of 19" one of them gives a dirty look towards Aaron and then they all storm off

"That was..." Aaron start saying with his eyebrows raising

"Interesting" I finish off while laughing

"I was going to say more on the weird side but okay" he shakes his head

I go on my tippy toes and kiss his cheek and then drag him towards the castle

"Do you think we could go inside?" I say looking up at him hopeful,

He nods "we can go get tickets for one of the tours"

I beam up at him, he kisses my forehead and leads us towards a booth to get tickets

While we're walking around the castle I smile to myself

"So what was that about your heart being married?" I say smiling looking at beautiful structures and swords up on the wall,

"I've told you many times my heart beats for you, yes?" He says glancing at me

"Yeah..." I say trying to hide my smile

He hums and wraps his arms behind me as I look at the intricate designs in the castle,

Ghosting his lips over my ear he says "if my heart beats for you it means it yours...which pretty much means emotionally I'm fully yours...well and physically too" he chuckles

I smile and lean my head on his chest "well nice to know we're on the Same page then"

He grips my chin upward so I'm looking at him "oh sunshine we're not even on the same chapter"

I frown and he kisses my lips upside down

"Spider-Man" I whisper and laugh to myself

He chuckles and shakes his head

"My feelings for you are not on the same page as yours, trust me," he says smiling

I hum "sure"

"Come on let's go see the rest of this castle, and we still have lots of more things to do here," he says kissing the side of my head

I nod and grab his hand

As we're on the plane on the way to our next destination I think about how much fun we have had so far,

We ended up doing quite a lot of sightseeing and I did eat food other than sandwiches,

I smile seeing Aaron asleep across from me

How can a person like him be seen as so cruel?

Painted as the complete opposite,

If his heart was a painting...no one would even dare think he was anything but everything you could possibly desire in a man,

He's possibly the softest and sweetest man I've ever met,

I'm sure my parents would have loved him

As I look out the window of the plane and my tears fall I can't help but wonder and think about if my parents would be proud of me...

Would they be happy with the life I chose to live so far, would they like Aaron?

Would they think I'm successful in some way?

Oh how I wish I could hug my parents right now and tell them I miss them and how thankful I am for everything they did for me

I fall asleep with the hope that my parents are watching me with a smile on my face

This might just be the least favorite chapter I have written...

And you know I had to add some girls drooling over Aaron...because It's my way of adding some sort of "drama" even though it's not? Anywho

I'm honestly hating this book...idk senior year is kicking my ass, and on top of that I've started Bible college, so my life is hectic and busy, I have zero time to even read, so I had no time to write this,

I legit forced myself to write this at almost 5 am, so I could at least get SOMETHING up!

I'm terribly sorry for how bad this story is turning out.
