After dinner we went to sleep in our rooms.  I knew very well we both couldn’t sleep well that night. Light of the guest room was on till late night , I wished to go there but avoided , controlled my mind. In the morning , I went in the guest room with a cup of tea …

Sanyogita was sleeping like a child … with the quilt on her head and her knees near her chest … I called her softly … Sanyogita … wake up … I have brought tea for you …

she just hummed and turned her back towards me … again I called and then she awoke … she suddenly realized … I was there … she adjusted her quilt and sat up suddenly …

Sorry … she uttered … I didn’t realize … it was too late … what aunty must be thinking … I am feeling so ashamed …

Sanyogita I said calmly … have this tea first … all other things can wait … actually I didn’t wish to wake you up … Ma was saying let her sleep … she also realized your light was burning till late night …
