Chapter 23

Ariel's P.O.V<3

It's been 4 weeks since spring break, and high- school has been going crazy for the last 3 weeks of school left. Especially for seniors. Let me tell you, when you're going to graduate, you have to go get your dress, gown, hair, makeup, everything that you need to look beautiful for that day. That one day of your life, that you graduate highschool, you want to look your best. So me and the girls are really stressing about this.

"Have you found your dress? Because I don't know if I want purple or blue. Or white, or red, or-"

"Yes we know. You don't know what color dress you want between all of the colors out there." Vale said cutting Steph off.

"I'm just stressing out over here. I can't believe we are going to be highschool graduates." Steph said while getting up and throwing away her lunch tray.

"Yeah, I know. I can't believe I passed this year." Don said with a huge smile.

"Same."

"Okay. So what are you guys going to do after?" Paulina said. "Because I'm going to open up a bakery for pets."

"I'm going into the medical field. To be a MRI." Steph said.

"I'm going to business. Or be a lawyer." Vale said.

"I'm want to go and study for sports medical. I love sports especially softball. So might as well do something you love right?" I said while all the girls nodded there head.

"I'm going into... I don't know. I figure it out when I get there. Me and Dylan are just going to live in apartment and have 10 dogs and live happily ever after." Don said.

"How do you know you're going to live with him?"

"Oh, I felt it. Oh, and he told me he loved me and he bought me a promise ring. See" she said while showing her ring. It was a blue diamond in a heart shape.

"Yeah. I helped picked it out for him. He made me go." Paulina said.

"Oh. That's nice." I said while steering my straw around the milk carton.

"Hey. There's someone out there for you. You just have to wait for that time." Paulina said while giving me a small smile.

"Ok." I said while giving a fake smile back, even though deep down I was crying.

Just kidding.....not.

Three weeks have past and its graduation day today.

I have a black dress that's lace see through on the chest and shoulder area. It haves flows on the bottom, and I have some black strap 2inch heels. I curled my hair into beach curls and did a really simple makeup. I just have some eyeliner and some mascara and a little bit of blush on.

I went to Dons place because the girls were meeting up there with their parents. I told my mom, she said that she would be there in the crowd waiting for me with some flowers.

Now we are arriving at the school, and walking towards the football field. We have our caps and gowns on and the while senior class lined up in alphabetical order. The guys greeted us earlier. The guys hugged the girls parents or introduced themselves to them and telling them that they were going out. Bruce and I were just talking.

Me and Bruce have gotten along a lot lately. After that kiss at my house, we have been really clingy to each other. We would kiss sometimes or go out on dates. He haven't asked me out yet but even though he did, I haven't even told the girls that we have been seeing each other or the kiss.

I looked into the crowd to aleast find my mom or dad. I invited my dad over, but I don't think he would come. I saw all my friends parents and family, yet not mine. I looked back at the principal that was announcing the students name and Paulina was the first one to out all of the crew.

"Paulina Guzman."

"YEAH PAULINA! I LOVE YOU! YOU GO BABE! THATS MY GIRL EVERYONE!" Vince said while everyone clapped. She turned a little bit red but just smiled through it. Dylan's family cheered for her because her family didn't go and well she is part of their family.

"Stephany Green." She went up and smiled and shook Mr.Croys hand grabbed her diploma and went off.

"Don Jackson." She got up and almost tripped with he 5inch heels but she caught her self before she fell. She shook Croys hand, grabbed her diploma and went off.

"Andrew James." He got up with his head held high, shook his hand grabbed his diploma and went off.

"Valery Lone." She went up with a huge smile shook his hand grabbed her diploma and went off.

"Bruce Roberson." He climbed the stairs and stopped, he turned and looked around till he eyes found mine."Bruce?" I guess that knocked him out of his little day dream, because he smiled then went to grabbed his diploma.

"Dylan Toms." He got up and did a cartwheel but failed, and landed on his butt, but he shook it off. Like literally, he shook his butt in front of the crowd. He shook Croys hand grabbed his diploma and threw the middle finger in the air and did a turn and walked off.

Some other students went by and then the twins.

"Victor Valdez."

Vic went up and grabbed the principal hand and shook it and turned to his family and smile. It was a really cute smile because it reached his ears and he showed his perfect white teeth. He then grabbed his diploma and went off the stage.

"Vince Valdez."

Vince climb the stairs did a little dance and shook the principal hands and grabbed his diploma. But before he went off the stage he whispered something into Croys ear and the Mr.Croy nodded. Vince went up to the mic and tapped it.

"Test. Test. Okay well hello everyone. I would like to say this is the second greatest thing that has happen this year, first was my girl Paulina, anyway. Highschool has been rough, and let me tell you something. It gets better....Just kidding. Highschool is a prison! Run! What ever you do RUN! STAY A KID FOREVER! DONT GROW UP ITS A TRAP!! Oh and FÛCK THIS SCHOOL!" He said and turned to Mr.Croy who looking at him with his mouth open and and his eyes big.

"Thank you." And he walked off. Hes family was just shaking their heads while Dylan was the only one clapping and cheering him on.

"Umm. Sorry about that anyway Ariel Vercetti." I walked up the stairs and took a deep breath. I looked at the crowd again, and my friends parents were cheering me on, but I could find my parents.

I looked over the back row, middle, front, sides, but nothing. They couldn't be here for one thing, that only happens once.

I looked over to the girls and they were mouthing to go. I turned and saw grey eyes looking at me with a confused face on. I look back at Croy. He was telling me to come.

I walked over there, shook his hand grabbed my diploma and walked off and not looking back at the crowd.

Mr. Croy said some different names, but I wasn't paying attention to them.

"Hey you okay?" Vic came up to me.

Me and him had become really close too. He is like my best guy friend.

I took a deep breath and nodded my head." Yeah, why wouldn't I?"

"Well because when you looked over to the crowd your face turned from happy then to sad. What wrong?"

"Nothing just thinking?" I said while giving him a fake smile.

He looked at me blank."Don't give me a fake smile, tell me what's wrong." The thing with Vic is that he knows when something is wrong or you're lieing to him.

"It's no-" I got caught off by Mr. Croy.

"And ladies and gentlemen. This is your 2016 class of Jackson Huskies!"

Everyone clapped and the whole senior class went back on the field and we got into a big cycle and we were about to throw our caps up when we got someone tapped the mic.

"Hello."

We all turned to the front, and see Bruce standing on the stage.

"Hello. Some may know me, if you don't my name is Bruce. Bruce Roberson. I want to make a special announcement."

Everyone quiet down and all you can hear is Bruce breathing into the mic.

"Thank you. Okay. I would like to say something to a special someone in my life." He looked around till he found my eyes. I was in the front with the rest of the girls and the boys, and we were looking at him with confused faces.

"I think she knows who she is, well I want to tell her that I've fallen for her. I can't stop thinking about you. Your voice, laugh, hair, eyes, everything about you. I simply can't get you off my mind. Every time I see a different girl, I compare her to you. I say that you have better hair, better eyes, better voice, better everything. I love that about you. You're different from other girls. I love how you're out going. How you don't care about the rules. I love how you don't think about the what ifs. You go for it. And that's what I'm going to do. I fallen in love with Ariel Vercetti. Ariel." He looked straight into my teary eyes and smiled. "Ariel would you do me the honor, by becoming my girlfriend?" He asked while walking down the stage and walking in front of me.

Everyone turned to me, and I was shocked, jumping in joy, and I was just staring in at him in happiness. I can't believe he loves me. He fûckin loves me! I fallen for Bruce Roberson and he has fallen for me.

I couldn't find the words so I grabbed his neck and pulled him in far a long passionate kiss.

Everyone cheered and Dylan and Vince yelled 'Finally!'

I smiled against Bruces lips and he pulled away from mine and rested his forehead on mine.

"I love you. You don't know how long I waited to say that." He said with a huge smile. I smiled back and kissed him again. I pulled back and said."I love you too. You don't know how long I waited for you to ask me out." He smiled and kissed me again.

We all went back to the twins place, because they were having a bbq for all of us.

So right now we are sitting outside and talking about what we are going to do now. It's like 9 at night.

I was sitting on Bruce's lap while the rest were doing the same with their boys.

"What are you going to do Bruce?" Andrew said. We all looked at him and he just smiled.

"I want to go to UC Davis and study to be a doctor." He said while smiling.

"You want to go to UC Davis and study to be a doctor?" I asked while turning my hips to look at him.

"Yup. What about you?"

"I want to go to UC Davis to study for sports medical. Why didn't you tell me this? Have you gotten accepted?"

"No they are sending out letters next week."

"That's why I haven't gotten mine. I thought they rejected mine."

"If they rejected you, they would still send a letter, you know that right?" He said while his eyebrow raised.

"No."

"Okayyyyyyyyy, anyway let's go make a fire and make some s'mores." Don said while standing up and pulling Dylan with her.

We all nodded and got up and went to the fire place outside. We got some chairs and grabbed the marshmallows and chocolate with the gram crackers and started to toast our marshmallows. I looked over at Bruce and see him staring at me with a smile on. I smiled back at him, and covered my face with my hair because I was blushing. I turned and looked back at the fire, and smiled.

I haven fallen for my Bruce.
