*remorseful kabayo moments*

I'm currently at the Canteen having lunch with Wayne.

Naalala ko ulit what happened earlier, nakakainis talaga eh. But instead of dealing with her and wasting my energy, I used the old method, I ran away. Neknek niya!

"Argh I really hate her, ang insensitive niya talaga Way!" Sabi ko habang lumalamon ng burger

Wayne wiped my cheek with his napkin "ano na naman ba kasing nangyari?"

Did I say na the Apiñosa siblings studies here? Now you know. Gia is still on her club, she's a member of the Dance troop and also part of the stagecraft team because guess what, your girl is the best when it comes to make up. She's maybe aloof sometimes but she just needs the right people to surround her.

Kaya nga dito ko napiling mag-aral, because finally I'd be with Gia most of the time.

Pero talaga naman, everything comes with a price.

"Sinabihan ba naman akong..." I can't hold my frustration "argggffhh!!!" I exclaimed

"Sinabihan kang ano?" He asked calmly sabay punasan ang mga sauce na nagkalat sa mesa dahil sa likot ko "don't tell me, pangit?"

Pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata "huhuh Pangit ba talaga ako Way???? Kapalit-palit ba ako??? Then why?!" I tackled both his shoulders and jiggled him kasi in game si ate mo sa portrayal

"Nakakahilo Jo!!" He took my hands off his shoulders "baliw baliw baliw!" He said laughing in between

We were so busy laughing na it took so long for me to realize that people were staring.

ah yes, Wayne Gregory Apiñosa the heart throb.

I can hear them muttering and mumbling, like

"Girlfriend ba 'yan ni wayne?"

"Ang sweet naman."

"Hindi sila bagay no"

"Hindi naman siya maganda, maputi lang"

(Wow ate, ang ganda mo)

"Hey, focus on me." He said sternly then smiled "don't mind them." Sabay igting sa panga, charot, ang laswa

The bell suddenly rung

"What's your next subject Jo?"

"Philippine Government and Constitution, room 17, how about yours?"

"Room 8 ako eh, but I can walk you there" his phone chimed "oh, Kuya Wes is on his way na pala, his class is next to you, sabay nalang kayo?"

I saw Wesley coming, at kung nakakapatay lang ang titig ng mga tao sa paligid, I'd be dead by now. I mean who am I to be this deserving to know the Apiñosa brothers and stare at them straight in the eyes without melting? Sino ba naman ako?

Duh.

Who would have thought na these guys who'd fart whenever there's a chance will be the reason of my demise.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

"Wow Jo kakarating ko lang ganyan agad salubong mo" Wesley said bago ginulo ang buhok ni Wayne "hi little bro" bati niya kay Wayne

"Kuya naman sabing huwag yung buhok ko eh"

For others, watching these two handsome boys bantering is like watching the sun set.

For me? I'm like watching the sun na tirik na tirik.

I made face to Wesley " Whatever kuya. Hali na nga kayo, late na ako oh." I rolled my eyes while Wesley took my bag and carried it for me, they gave each other a look after kung magtaray and started walking behind me.  " Do you think it's menses?" I heard kuya Wesley whispered to Wayne.

I just shook my head.

Wayne went the other way paglabas namin ng canteen while Wesley and I walked together on the way to our respective rooms

"So, how's your first day Jo?"

"Not good."

"Oh bakit ang sungit mo yata?" pang-aasar niya

"Haven't you noticed na lahat ng nadaanan nating babae gusto akong saksakin patalikod?" If only they knew how crazy these boys can get.

He cackled with laughter "get used to it Master Jo." He then pat my head at ginulo ang buhok ko

"Kuyaaaa!"

He spinned me around, LITERALLY. He put my bag on my back at tinulak ako papuntang room.  "Pakitaan mo sila Miss topnotcher!" Sabay takbo

I blinked twice, trying to digest what just happened, I was there standing, dumbfounded. I tried to hide the embarrassment by smiling, I greeted the teacher and went to a vacant seat, swallowing it all. Eyes darting at me.

That gym maniac! one of his hobbies is making fun of me, lagot siya mamaya sa akin!

After class, agad akong lumabas when someone suddenly grabbed me.

"It's already 2:30, Roble. And the only thing I knew about you is that you like hanging out with people who looked like each other."

Tiningnan ko siya ng masama, of course they look alike, they're siblings no!

"If you're the type of person who easily changes their mind, sana hinayaan mo nalang akong kumbinsihin yung kaklase natin kanina to be my partner instead, a little push and she would agree—"

"can't you see that she's uncomfortable? Not because gusto mo ay gusto narin ng iba, can't you read situations? People like you really like abusing people who only know nothing but please others. Stop making it harder for them, will you?" Her grip slowly became loose

After realizing what I just said, I covered my mouth in shocked, I felt remorseful.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to—"

"I don't care about your opinion. I just want to pass and be a fucking perfect student, after all these, you do you."

She started walking away, at muling tumingin sa akin.

"You coming or what?"
