Nash didn’t blink. His gaze locked onto David’s.

“Then say it, Mr. Ellison.”

David’s voice was sharp as a blade. “Because you bought Caroline. Because on the night of our wedding, you took her virginity. And after that night, she got pregnant with your child. Even now, knowing the baby is yours, she refuses to give it up and is determined to bring it into this world. So tell me, Nash, do you think you deserve to live?”

He took a step closer, his words sharp and deliberate. “Did I make myself clear?”

David wasn’t just here for revenge. He was here to make Nash and the entire Newton family pay for what had been done.

He couldn’t take his anger out on Caroline, so he kept her by his side, slowly suffocating her under his control. But he could simply destroy Nash and the Newton family without a second thought.
