Chapter 52

Mr.Billionaire Meets Ms.Clumsy

Emilyn woke up earlier than Christopher; she watches as his chest rose and a little snore sounded. Even though he is asleep, you can see how stress he is, with a frown between his eyebrow.

Emilyn traces her index finger from his nose to the side of his jaw and smile. She can't believe he was all hers. She snickers as she thought about how her life was before she met Christopher.

"What are you laughing at?" Christopher opens his eyes.

"Nothing, just that you have grown a stubble."

"You don't like it?" Christopher brushes his chin against her neck.

"No, it tickles." She pushes him away.

"Did you sleep well?" Christopher places a kiss on Emilyn's forehead.

"Yeah." Emilyn snuggles into Christopher's chest.

"Hey, I want to ask you something." He said.

"What is it?" Emilyn looks up from his chest.

"What do you think about moving in with me?" Christopher asked. "I just think that it would be nice to have a change in environment."

"Okay." Emilyn immediately agrees.

"I mean if you don't want to I'm not going to force you." But, Christopher continues, he didn't hear what Emilyn just said.

"I said okay."

"What? Really?" Christopher asked in surprise. He knows Emilyn doesn't agree that easily.

"Yeah, like you said a change in environment," Emilyn said. "So when?"

"Today?"

"Alright, I'll get packing." She detached herself from Christopher and slides out of bed.

"Hold up, what's going on?" Christopher sits up from the bed.

"What do you mean what's going on? I'm going to pack."

Christopher narrowed his eyes at her, "why are you not arguing about this? Usually, I have to coax you and persuade you; giving you multiple reasons to reason with." Christopher said.

"I think you are being reasonable, so there's no point of talking about it," Emilyn told him. "I'm going to go pack now." She walks away from the bed.

"Stop," Christopher said, and Emilyn stops in her steps. "Come back here."

"What?" Emilyn walks back to her original position. Christopher gets out of bed and sits at the edge of the bed, pulling Emilyn closer to him that she is standing in between his leg.

"Something is wrong, tell me."

"Why would you think something is wrong? Nothing is wrong." Emilyn places her hands on his shoulder.

"Tell me Emilyn." He said sternly.

A few seconds of staring until Emilyn gave up. "Fine, I'll tell you." Christopher waited patiently for her. "I heard what you said last night on the phone with your mum."

"I'm sorry that I cause you so much trouble and I didn't know that I made you so frustrated and sad," Emilyn said. "You have to take care of my feelings and your job. I'm sorry that I made your life difficult."

"Angel..."

"I'm not done yet." Emilyn shushes him. "I didn't want you to feel more stress, so to make you happy again; I'll do whatever it takes."

"Angel, you don't have to do that. I don't want to force you if moving in with me just to make me happy.

"No, I want to." Emilyn stops him. "Not only do I want you to have a smile on your face again, I want to move in with you." She continues. "Like you say a new environment will probably do me good."

"You sure?" Christopher asked.

"Positive." Emilyn nods her head.

"Alright then, let's get packing," Christopher pulls the nape of Emilyn's neck lower to kiss her. He places soft kisses on her lips and pulls her down on top of him.

"I love you so much." He pecks her lips.

"Rist, please don't blame yourself. Is not your fault, you didn't cause her death." Emilyn said softly, tracing a circle on Christopher's naked chest."Is your dad's."

"But I should have fought harder, think of a plan."

"No, I rejected the offer. If you want to blame someone, you should blame me." Emilyn said softly. "But I know that I shouldn't, is my choice. Grandma Lou doesn't want us to blame ourselves."

"You are right," Christopher said. "We will get through this together."

Emilyn smiles at him and kisses him on the lips gently. She pulls back, but Christopher pulls her back and kisses her. He deepens the kiss and flips Emilyn on her back. He continues to kiss her, slowly places kisses down her chin to her neck.

"Rist." She called out.

"Yes, angel." He smirked and continued kissing her neck, leaving hickeys.

"I should get packing," Emilyn pushes against his chest. "How am I going to move in, if you don't let me go?"

"Then we should not go." He smirks.

He leans down again, but Emilyn pushes against him. "Nope, we cannot do this right now."

"But why?" He whined.

"Because if we don't, I'm not going to move in with you."

"Fine," He got off of her. "Let's get packing." He pulls her up from the bed.

After getting a suitcase and folding most of her clothes into it, Emilyn head to her bathroom. She picks up her toothbrush and face wash, but when she looks up in the mirror. She shouted, "Rist!"

She rushed out of her bathroom and said, "what is this?" She pointed at her neck.

"Love bites," Christopher smirks and continues to empty the fridge.

"Why did you put it here?" Emilyn is still fuming about the mark.

"And why not?" Christopher walks towards her.

"Because if I go out then people will see it."

"More reason to stay at home and spend time with me." He smiles, pulling Emilyn closer to him by the waist, leaning down to kiss her.

"No, no." Emilyn pushes him away. "You are not touching me ever again." She steps back from him.

"Oh, come on," Christopher pout.

"Nope, stay away from me." She runs back into her room and continues to pack.

"You won't stay away from me long," Christopher shouted.

"All done, my clothes and personal things are packed."Emilyn smiled at her work, she drags her suitcase out of the room. "Do you need any help?" She called out to Christopher.

"Angel, what are all these?" Emilyn looks at the table, covered with her hidden snacks.

"Uhm...my secret hidden statch of snacks." She said. "Well, not so secret anymore." She mumbled.

"This is too much, Angel. Bags of chips, bags of candy, this jumbo size gummy bear." He lifts the giant bear. "And bags of chocolate, I'm surprised it didn't melt yet."

"Hey, chocolate doesn't melt if you don't put it in the fridge yet. Don't you know?" Emilyn narrowed her eyes at Christopher and marched over to the table to snatch her bags of snacks.

"No, you don't get to keep them. Put it down." Christopher instructed. "I'm going to throw all this away. This is too many unhealthy things for you."

"No you can't, I bought them. You don't get the rights to throw it all away." She gathers all her snacks as best as she can in her arms. "These are my babies."

"Fine, you can keep one each."

"One? Only one." Emilyn groan. "Can you just let me pick two of each, please?" Emilyn begged.

"Fine." Emilyn, hurry to choose the snacks that she loves, "Seriously the big gummy bear?" Christopher asked.

"Of course, this is expensive. Plus I can cut the bear into small pieces, which could be equivalent to the bags of gummies I am forced to leave behind."

Christopher shakes his head at his girlfriend, "Alright, finish choosing?"

"Yup." She nod. "What are you going to do with those?"

"I'm going to give it away, maybe to Jax. Summer probably wants some junk once in a while." Christopher places the snack into the bag. Emilyn watches as he puts her snacks into the bag and slowly disappears from her sight.

"All done, your fridge and cabinet are all clean up. I also took your favorite mug." Christopher showed her.

"Thank you," Emilyn said. "I think that's all." Then, Emilyn helped Christopher carries the box out to the living room.

"I'm going to bring these boxes to my car, you stay here," Christopher told her. She nod.

"Woah, all packed up." Ana and Finley arrived after Christopher left. "You really want to do this?" Ana asked.

"Yeah, a fresh start in a new place will probably do me good." Emilyn smiled.

"At least, now you are closer to my place," Ana said.

"Do you need help carrying these boxes down?" Finley asked.

"Uhm..." Emilyn thought for a while. "No, just let Christopher carry them all."

"Trying to kill me," Christopher said, and everyone turns to face the door.

"Sort of." Emilyn shrugged and laughed.

"Let me help." Finley offered. Both Finley and Christopher carry the boxes down to Christopher's car while Ana and Emilyn stay and chat.

"Right, I almost forgot." Emilyn rushes into the room with two envelopes in her hand.

"This is for you and Finley. Grandma wrote it for you guys." Emilyn passes her the letters.

"Oh," Ana said. "I'll read it later." Ana holds onto the letter.

"You okay?" Emilyn asked

"Not really, it's still hard to grasp the fact that Grandma Lou left," Ana said. "She can't wait to attend my wedding, now she doesn't get the chance to." Ana sobbed. Emilyn grabs the tissue from her bag and passes it to her. "Thanks." She took it. "I miss her."

"I know, me too." She hugs Ana.

"What happened?" Emilyn and Ana broke the hug and turned to face the voice. "Are you guys okay?" Finley asked.

"Yeah, we are fine," Ana said, she wiped her tears with her hands. "Look, Finley." She showed him the envelope in her hands. "Grandma Lou left it for us." Finley takes it from Ana's hands and stares at it. A soft smile appears on his face, and Ana gave him a side hug.

"Emilyn, come here," Finley said. Emilyn walks towards Finley; when she is near to him, he pulls her into a hug. Three of them huddled together; you can hear soft sobs from the group hug.

"I'll treasure it with all my heart," Finley said after breaking from the hug. "Don't hesitate to call me or Ana for help alright."

Emilyn nods her head, "Of course, you are my big brother. I'm going to disturb you as much as possible until you feel irritated." She let out a small laugh.

"Alright, you should get going now," Finley said.

"Okay," she grabs her bag, and Christopher has her suitcase in his hands, waiting for her at the door. Emilyn locks the door as soon as everyone is out of the house, taking one last look at her door; before catching up to the others.

***

"Finally." Emilyn flopped onto the couch. "Didn't know moving all those things can be so tiring and hungry." She lay her whole body on the couch.

"Do you want me to cook or order take out?" Christopher asked, standing next to the couch.

"Uhm...take out." Emilyn reply.

"Alright," Christopher took out his phone from his pocket. "What do you want to eat?"

"Uhm...I'm fine with anything. You choose." Emilyn said, leaning back on the couch.

"Okay, I'm going to pick Mexican," Christopher said. "Do you want to pay?"

"No, can you pay this time?"

"Don't have to ask me, of course, I would pay." He said. "I would pay all the time if you let me." He muttered.

Emilyn heard him; she turns her head to Christopher and narrowed her eyes at him. Christopher chuckles.

"I was wondering." Christopher lifts her legs to sit on the couch; after sitting on the couch, he places her legs on his lap. "You know how my closet is huge."

"Wow, way to brag." Emilyn scoff, not lifting her head.

Christopher chuckles, "What I want to say is that we should go shopping to fill those empty spaces in my closet."

"Why do I need to fill your closet with more clothes? I already have a lot of clothes to wear." Emilyn said.

"Come on, I just want to spoil you for once." Christopher pout and begged.

"Nope, you don't have to spoil me. I have enough clothes and you have already spoiled me with your love for me." Emilyn lifts herself with her elbows supporting her on the couch. "I think that's enough for me." She smiles brightly at him.

"Cute." Christopher pinches her nose and leans down to capture her lips.
