23. Who's Going
Bloodshed // FIVE HARGREEVES
Annoyed, Diego turns his back on the two again. He rushes out of Five's bedroom. "If you can't be of any help, then I'll look for her again."
"Wait!" Elisa calls, remembering something. "I've seen her."
Without any hesitation, Diego returns to the room, the fire in his eyes is back again. "You lying-"
"Not in real life," Elisa adds quickly, remembering the dream from last night at the commission. "I've dreamt about her last night."
"A dream." Diego doesn't hide the irritation that's rising inside of him. "A fucking dream."
"It's better than nothing!" Elisa snaps at him. "Plus, she was asking me for help."
"Help?" Five echoes.
"Yes." Elisa nods. "The dream started in a different way. . ." Elisa continues, doubting whether to tell the two about Five in her dream. She decides not to. "But then she was suddenly there. She was begging for me to help her. I forgot-I didn't think anything of it. Do you think it has something to do with her disappearance?"
Five shrugs. "It seems unlikely, but you don't know how powerful you exactly are. Maybe . . ."
"Maybe," Elisa whispers quietly.
Take her, too.
Elisa, you've got to help me!
"The handler." Elisa's eyes widen. The two men's eyes fall on her immediately. "I think she's at the commission!"
"Why would she be there?" Diego asks her before Five can
"When the handler picked me up after . . ." The two understand what she's saying. Their face falls even more as they both look at their feet. "She said 'take her, too.' That means they had someone else. And . . ."
"And?" Five asks.
"The handler really did push me to stop you from giving me the serum," Elisa says. "I could be wrong, but it seemed as if she wanted me out of the commission."
Five remembers everything well. He tried to convince this girl not to continue her plan. He tried to keep her alive-and at the same time the handler only pushed her out of the commission.
"I'm going to there," Five tells the two, ready to spatial jump-
"No." Elisa shakes her head. "I will."
Still annoyed, Diego rolls his eyes. "Talk it out," he tells Elisa and Five. "I'm going to try and regroup the family. Don't leave before we've talked with the whole family."
"Sure," Five mumbles, narrowing his eyes at Elisa.
A chuckle escapes Diego's lips when he notices the tension between the two. He takes his chance, and leaves the room, closing the door loudly behind him.
"I'm going," Five tells Elisa, still glaring at her. In response, Elisa narrows her eyes at him, too.
"Oh please, Five," Elisa groans. "The handler will expect me to come back. She thinks I'm still pissed at you-"
"You aren't going there again. I won't allow you putting yourself in danger again." Five growls, his breathing becoming heavier with each second that passes.
Elisa approaches him until their lips are just inches away from each other. Both still glaring, they stay like this.
"Danger is nothing against me . . ." Elisa whispers, her eyes flickering to Five's lips. When her eyes lock with his once again, her hands place themselves on his chest. His eyes darken.
A smirk comes on Five's face, and he tilts his head. Although his breathing is quickening, too, he succeeds in hiding it better than Elisa. "Danger . . ." His index finger touches the skin underneath Elisa's ear, and it travels down her jaw until it's right under her chin. He forces her head to come even closer to his. Now, there's not even two inches between them.
"You idiot." Elisa smiles.
"What?" Five frowns, taken by surprise.
"You're an idiot."
"Why?"
"Because you're making me wait," Elisa explains. Her arms curl around his neck. "I used to have patience enough, but with you . . ."
Five's hands go to Elisa's hips, squeezing them softly. Her heart skips a beat when his lips hover over hers, still not touching. Still not kissing.
"With you," Elisa starts. "I've got none."
Hungrily, Elisa presses her mouth on Five's. He-hungry for her touch-lets his hands travel from her hips to her back. There, they travel down again. A whimper falls from Elisa's lips when he forces her hips to lift. She obliges immediately.
Roughly, he lifts her up while Elisa's hands move to Five's hair. There, they strangle themselves in locks of his hair. Because of this action, Five groans quietly. Elisa's legs curl around Five's waist instinctively as he starts to move. The kiss deepens, and their lips don't leave each other.
Once next to the bed, Five bows forward. Slowly, he places Elisa on his bed. He breaks the kisses, making Elisa groan. Five's smirk grows as he watches her eyes on him. He unbuttons his shirt quickly-but not quick enough for Elisa.
She, too, throws off her shirt, not taking her eyes off him. Both pieces of clothing get thrown somewhere in the room. Neither of the two knows where-they don't care. Only the touch of the other matters. Elisa swallows hard when she takes in Five's chest. She already knows she'll never get used to the sight. Breathtaking-every dam time.
"You're gorgeous," Five whispers hungrily, climbing on the bed. He's hovering over her in no time. His hand skims down Elisa's upper body, making her whimper. His lips graze her jaw as his other hand touches her now swollen bottom lip.
"You're not bad yourself," Elisa breathes both his hands move to remove her bra. When it unclips, Five's lips collide with hers again.
"So, so beautiful." The bra, too, disappears somewhere in the room.
"FIVE!" Klaus' voice sounds. "DOWNSTAIRS!" Elisa's eyes widen, and immediately, a loud groan leaves her lips. Five leans back, sighing.
"No." Elisa's head falls backwards into a pillow. "Not again."
"Diego must've regrouped them already," Five mumbles, annoyed.
One hand of Elisa's stops tugging at Five's hair. It cups his face. "I'm sure they can wait."
"Do you think they have more patience than you?"
"I'm quite sure." Elisa smirks, laying her hand on the back of Five's neck. She forces his face closer to hers again.
As his smirk grows, too, Five's hand trails down to Elisa's thighs, causing her breathing to hitch. Elisa's hand runs across Five's jaw when he starts to rub over her sensitive area. Reacting to this, Elisa her hips start to move with. His touch sends tingles through her whole body.
"You're right." His other hand goes to cup her breast. "They can wait."
Elisa's chest rises and falls quickly, not able to wait any longer. She craves his touch. She craves him.
-
With an excited squeal, Klaus opens his arms when Elisa and Five enter the room. To no one's surprise, Klaus leaves his brother for what he is, and he goes straight to Elisa. "You're back!" His smile widens-a lot.
"I am." Elisa returns a smile when Klaus throws his arms around her.
"I'm glad because otherwise the three dozen donuts I ordered would rot away," Klaus mumbles, closing his eyes while hugging her.
Elisa's mouth drops open. "You didn't-" she reacts, shocked.
When leaning back, Klaus giggles loudly. "I didn't," he admits, making Elisa sigh in relief. "But I am planning it for your birthday. When's your birthday?"
"November thirteenth," Elisa answers quietly, not wanting all of the siblings to hear.
Unfortunately, Klaus' gasps makes all the eyes fall on her. "That's next month!"
"It is," Elisa says shyly. "Now shh. We've got important matters to discuss."
"That's right." Klaus sighs sadly. "Vanya."
Luther walks in the living room. Avoiding Elisa completely, he strides across the room. Once he is standing next to Five, he stops in his tracks. Now everyone is here. Five standing next to the fireplace with Luther. Allisson is sitting in the seat with a closed book in her lap, and Diego sits next to her. He's already paying attention to every word that's being said.
"We think we know where Elisa is-" Five starts, but Diego gestures for him to stop.
"I already told them all about the commission and your assumption," he speaks up. "You two took too long. Have you two discussed who's going?"
"We have discussed that," Elisa says, trying to shake the images of Five just a few minutes ago out of her head for a while. "I'm going."
Five frowns at her. A sigh leaves his lips, and he walks to her. "Actually, we're going to vote."
"Pfff." Elisa rolls her eyes.
"Fair is fair." Five smiles at her.
"Come on." Elisa sends him a determined smile before she turns to look at all the others again. "The handler won't be surprised to see me there. I can come up with an excuse, and she'll believe me quicker than she will believe Five. He already lied to her-I have not. I'll pretend to wish to work at the commission again. I'll look for Vanya without anyone noticing."
"It's a good idea," Luther admits, but Elisa doesn't look at the man. She hasn't the whole time. He killed Mor. He murdered Mor. He took her life without giving her a choice. No, this man doesn't deserve one more glance of her. If Vanya wasn't missing, then Elisa would be putting one of Diego's knives through his skull. All right, perhaps that is a little overdone, but there is some truth in it, though. She would hurt him-not kill him. Maybe an eye would do.
Diego nods.
"A real badass." Klaus chuckles.
"Isn't it a little dangerous, Elisa?" Allison tilts her head questioningly.
"Exactly!" Five exclaims. "So I should go."
"It's four against two." Elisa twirls around, so she is facing him again. He looks very . . . displeased.
"I can't convince you to let me go?"
"Not at all."
Five reaches for her, intertwining their fingers. His other arm curls around her waist. He presses her against his chest. "Not even with a kiss?"
"Five," Elisa whines. "You're playing unfair! And no! I'm going."
A sigh sounds, but Five nods afterwards. Not having freed Elisa again, he uses this chance to lean in. "I still want a kiss, though," he whispers against her lips.
