Jade wakes up in the middle of the night with a slight start, breathing fast and sweating from head to toe. She tries to remember the now fading nightmare, but only bits and pieces of it remain in her mind. Keywords: Parents, Boyfriend, Brother, Friends, firearm, and Eric, the rest is pretty self explanatory. She looks to her left and sees Four still peacefully sleeping on his side facing away from her, giving her a clear view of his whole back tattoo. She sighs with relief and carefully flips the blankets off her sweaty body.

She swings her legs over the side of the bed and notices she's still got her thick pants on from yesterday, and realizes they're just making her sweatier then she already was. Just before she decided to stand to take them off Four begins to stir, and eventually he flips around to face her side, luckily, he was still sound asleep. She stands up slowly, undoes her pants and pulls them down off passed her feet quietly. She decides to take off her black drenched muscle shirt as well, leaving her in nothing but her black undergarments. She turns around to sit down on the bed but her eyes catch Four closing his own, pretending to be asleep.

"I saw that mister, you're not slick." Jade says, right before sitting down and getting under the covers. Four laughs, wrapping his arm around the front of her waist, pulling her closer to him. "Okay, you caught me. I couldn't feel you next to me so I woke up," Jade blushes. "I woke up thinking you were dead, that's why I got up." Jade tells him, imagining a world where her nightmares became a reality. "Nightmare?" He asks into her ear softly, she slowly nods and backs up into him, and pulls the same arm that rested on her waist, over and around it.

Four held her close, so close she could feel his lips resting against the side of her neck as his breath graced against her collarbone and bosom. And that was more then enough for the both of them to fall back asleep. In the morning Four woke up way before Jade and decided to grab some fresh clothes to shower. After he was done he dried off, and began to get to dressed before realizing, he forgot a shirt. He left his bathroom, not noticing he left his pants unzipped and unbuttoned. Little did he know someone had just woken up, and she was pretending to sleep just as he did earlier this morning.

She peeked out of one eye as he walked around his apartment with his hair wet, shirt off and abdomen glistening. It was a sight to behold, and soon she was peeking with both eyes and had her bottom lip in between her teeth. He grabbed a shirt, turned around and looked directly at Jade, who failed to close her eyes and straighten her lips in time. "Nice try but you can't fool me." He says aloud causing her to smile, but she still pretends to sleep with a smile on her face. He realizes what she's doing and laughs, just before leaning down and placing his hands on either side of where Jade 'slept'.

He leans down even further and places his lips on hers, knowing all to well she'd kiss him back. He pulls away, "Good morning." He says with a smile, "Good morning to you too." She replies just before standing up from the bed. She acted oblivious to the fact she was practically naked in front of him, she picks up her clothes from last night and throws them in an empty hamper. She walks with her hips just to grab his attention, as she passes him by to go grab the extra pair of clothes she brought over to his apartment.

He gawked at her as she disappeared around the corner into his walk-in closet. After Jade got showered and dressed Four insisted on escorting her to the visitation center, where a few new Dauntless members, -including her brother and friends- waited for their parents to arrive. Jade kisses Four once more before heading down a set of stairs to get to the picnic styled table that her brother Miles sat at. She could see most of her friend's families had arrived already.

She sat next to him, "Good morning my horrendously booger breath'd big brother." She greeted. "And Good morning to you too my severely lame-tastic sinister little sister." He greeted back with a seated side hug. "Are you excited to see mom and dad again? Actually... scratch that, I already know you are. For my entertainment purposes only are you gonna introduce Mr. twenty-two-year-old over there to mom and dad?" Her brother asks, Jade realizes it'd be the perfect time to introduce Four to their parents, although she knew her father would not be happy his teenaged daughter is dating a grown man. "Yeeahh, I'm not too sure about that just yet. I know mom would be happy for me but dad on the other hand," Jade pauses, "He's not gonna be happy at all." She adds, Miles agrees with a nod. "Why isn't your father gonna be happy young lady?" An all too familiar voice says from behind them.

"Mom!" The twins shout in unison, but before Jade could hug her first she noticed their father was not by her side and stopped mid way. "Wait, why isn't dad here?" She questions their mother, "Hugs now, questions after." Their mother playfully demanded and opened her arms to both her children, and as expect she felt as if she were being squeezed like lemon. "Woah woah woah, is it just me or did you two get stronger since the last time I hugged you both?" Their mom jokes with a restrained voice, making her kids laugh. The two pull away, and sat down with their mother at the same table. "But seriously mom, where's dad? Is he okay?" Miles asks her, she frowns and shakes her head.

"Your father had an accident earlier this week." She says, and the both of them become worrried. "Oh my god, what happened?" Jade asks, hoping he was alright. "Benjamin's little brother had accidentally thrown his friends frisbee up onto our roof. Knowing your father he was more then glad to get the ladder from the back and attempted to retrieve it. Unfortunately on his way back down the ladder fell and so did your father. He fractured his leg but I'm just glad nothing worse happened." She explains, the twins are slightly relieved.

"Right now he's in bed resting as he should be. Luckily for us, me and Johanna had a talk with both of your Dauntless leaders here, and they agreed to allow, just this once, for you two to come back home and see him sometime. You should both thank that blonde one with all the piercings and such, he convinced the other leader to allow it. He was such a gentlemen too." They're mother explained some more, and the two siblings had their jaws on the floor. "You mean Eric? You mean that minacious, pierced, and tatted Devil that toyed with us the whole initiation process Eric? He helped us and was a gentleman?" Jade questions baffled, Miles just sits there speechless. "Seeming from how you described him, and how stunned your brother looks, I'd say you both don't like him very well." Their mother replies genuinely surprised, "don't like him? Try loathe his entire existence. He's like an annoying man-child that somehow ranked high enough to earn authority. Now all he does is abuse it." Miles corrects. "He sure does, it's odd that he helped us honestly. But enough about that scumbag Eric, how've you been mom?" Jade changes the subject with a smile on her face.

But a smile doesn't appear on their mothers face, "Not to good my loves, there's something I have to tell you. Me and your father should have told you when you came to see us last but, it had slipped our minds." She pauses and takes a deep and shaky breath in, "but before I do could I hear how my children are doing? What I'm g-going to tell you isn't exactly gonna compel you to keep a conversation with me afterwards." Their mother says nearly in tears, Jade and Miles grab their mothers hands and look at each other worried. "It can't be that bad mother." Miles comforts, but their mother looks up at the both of them and nods as tears begin to form in her hazel eyes. Jade swallowed and decided to speak, "Alright then, well so far here in Dauntless me and Miles have made a good few friends, not to mention a few enemies as well. We made it passed both stages of training pretty well, covering our tracks as we went of course, but honestly neither of us wouldn't have lasted a day in here without a little someones guidance, would you like to met him mom?" Jade asks her, and their mothers eyes light up. "Of course I would." She says excitedly, Jade stands from her seat and walks over and up the stairs where Four stood, he was talking with some other Dauntless members. One of them pointed behind Four to get his attention on Jade.

He furrows his eyebrows at her, "would you like to meet my mom as Four, our once scary and mysterious instructor who kept me and my brother from being discovered? Or would you like to meet my mom as Tobias, my absolutely amazing boyfriend, who just so happened to be the instructor who saved both mine and my sibling's ass?" Jade questioned, making him smile. "I'll take the latter please." He unhesitatingly says as he offers his arm like a gentlemen, she takes it happily and they walk together towards her mother with smiles on their faces. Their mom turns around and stands as they approach, "Tobias, this is my mother June. Mother, this is Tobias. He used to be me and Miles's Initiation instructor," she casually introduced. "And now, he's my boyfriend." She adds looking up at him. Her mother gasped and nearly jumped for joy, Four tried to put out his hand to shake but she shook her head. "Nonsense, as of this moment you are apart of this family so come give your future mother-in-law a hug!" She demanded happily, and Tobias gladly gave her a hug.

Jade mentally face-palmed, "mom why do you always have to embarrass me?" Jade jokingly asked shaking her head. She released her daughters boyfriend and got a good look at him, "oh hush, mother like daughter, you're most likely going to to do the same to my future grand-children. And speaking of grand-babies, they are going to be absolutely gorgeous with this handsome young man by your side." Her mother continues to mortify her. But for her brother this was all too amusing, so amusing he couldn't help but chuckle a bit, earning himself a death glare from his sister. "Thank you, and it's very nice to meet you Mrs. Harris. And actually, I'd also like to thank you for bringing this amazing, and beautiful young lady into this world. I'd be lost without her." Tobias says to her mother as he wraps his arm around Jade's waist, once again melting her heart. Her mother looked at the two of them in awe but eventually, she tilted her head at Tobias.

"I'm sorry but, I can't help but feel this sense of . . . maturity from you. How old are you exactly?" She asks, "I'm twenty-two ma'am." He answers her, and Jade watches as her mothers eyes widen. "As soon as your father's well enough, he's gonna kill you and then him." Their mother says playfully, makin Tobias laugh. "That is unless he can make a good impression on your father. You seem like a proper gentlemen so I honestly think you have nothing to worry about." Their mother implies. "Non of this family will ever have to worry about me with her. As I said to your son here, my intentions are pure and I'm hoping to be right by this girls side twenty-plus years from now." Tobias says, just before his nickname was shouted by an all too familiar voice from behind them. It was Eric, he gestured for Tobias to come to him.

Tobias pecks Jade on the cheek and then looks to her mother, "I have to go, it was really nice meeting you Mrs. Harris." He says before he took his leave. Her mother looks over at her with a smile, "He's definitely a keeper." She says just before sitting back down at the table, along with Jade. "What about you son? Any special girl in your life?" His mother asks him, and he looks over at where Tris and her family sat. It seemed to be her Abnegation mother and father, and what he assumed to be her Erudite brother. "Yes actually, her names Beatrice and she's that pretty blonde over there." Miles doesn't point but instead keeps his head in her direction.

"He's head over heel for her mom, he even told me himself." Jade chimes in, Their mother looks at both of her children with a smile. "My my my, look at my brave little babies. Nearly all grown up." She says, and soon that smiles fades, and her children notice. "Mother, can you tell us what's wrong now?" Jade asks as she gently takes her mothers hand in hers. Their mother sighs and looks around, "... I don't even know where to begin..." Their mother says as her children watch the tears in her eyes form. "Alright, this is how I'll tell you. I know it's strange but bare with me here." She pauses, and they both nod hesitantly. "Once upon a time ago, there was this young woman. This young woman ends up meeting a man, a man she never would've thought she'd fall in love with. Eventually, this woman and man come together as husband and wife, a-and decide to start a f-family." Their mothers shaky words so far have no emotional effect on them besides pure confusion.

She wipes her face and continues, "Six months into her pregnancy the doctors were shocked to confirm they were having two babies. Of course, the soon-to-be parents were more then thrilled at the big news. Two more months down the road and the wife goes into labor. And after hours of expending all her energy into delivering the first baby, she was exhausted, but nonetheless glad to finally meet her baby boy." Their mother takes Miles hand, and squeezes a bit. "Suddenly, the wife writhes in pain as she could feel the pressure of the next baby coming." Their mother tells them, by now they weren't as confused as they were moments ago, considering the story was nearly identical to theirs.

"Mother you've told us this story b-," - "Hold on, let me finish." Their mother cuts him off, and her son nods uneasily, letting her continue. "The traumatized new mother of two pushes and pushes until finally, her baby girl was placed onto her chest." Their mother then squeezes Jade's hand while looking at her fondly. "And after what seemed to be an eternity, her baby girl was taken away to be cleaned and clothed just as her son, and it was then she finally noticed. The weak mother sat up curious as to why the doctor was still positioned on the inside of her wide nursery gown. And it was then the mother realized he was still down there b-because..." their mother begins to choke up, letting the tears fall. "Because the truth is," the fragile mother struggles to speak, "Mother you can tell us," Jade reassures her, and their mother sniffles, and clears her throat. "... y-you're not twins. You're a set of triplets." And for Miles and Natalie, their whole world had been flipped upside-down, along with, -what they would like to call-, their family.
