Jade walks in through the door giving a polite 'thank you' to her lovely boyfriend, to only meet eyes with someone other than the expected Tori. Jade walks to the center chair while giving Eric a confused look, and Tori seems to notice. "To answer the question your facial expression literally screams, Eric is here because at least one existing Dauntless Leader has to be present during all Leadership testing, and unfortunately, Max wasn't available." Tori explains in an irritable tone, while getting things on the little table organized. Jade rolls her eyes, "Well, at least you're not the only one who thinks that's unfortunate." She replies looking over to the smirking Eric. Jade wondered if he actually enjoyed being hated. Four chuckles, "I don't think our beloved Dauntless leader here realizes majority of the people in this faction loathe the entirety of his existence." Four comments, earning a chuckle from both Tori and Jade.

Eric clenches his jaw looking at Four, "Well, that's what happens when you're appointed Leadership." Eric says surprisingly calm, and Jade scoffs. "Max was appointed Leadership, you don't hear people talking shit about him do ya?" She questions with a smirk, causing Tori and Four to laugh and Eric's forehead vein to pulsate. Eric ignores Jades comment and gestures for Tori to commence with the testing. "Alright Jade, soon I'll be injecting you with the Leadership serum, this serum stimulates the brain into thinking our faction and or faction system is at risk. See now, I can't tell you exactly what you'll be facing, only because this serum conforms with the people, objects and places closest to you. All I can really tell you is, handle the situation the way you would handle it." Tori explains, "Eric, Four and I will be able to see and hear everything that goes on in your mind. So do your absolute best." Tori warns, flicking her eyes to Eric. Jade nods as she sees Tori grab the syringe, and she moves her hair from her neck.

But just before the sharp point of the needle made contact with Jade's skin, the sound of a knock came from the door in front of them. Soon after, an unfamiliar man peeks into the room, "Tori, there's been an incident at the parlor. We need you." This young man says. Tori looks over to Eric and he gestures for her to hand over the syringe to him. Eric takes her place, and he looks down at Jade just as Tori closes the door behind her. Four's eyes were now glued onto Eric. He watched as the pierced devil gently tucked a piece of Jade's hair back behind her ear. He placed his hand on her bare skin and oh so slowly injected it into her neck.

And it was pretty obvious he purposely let his hands linger on her neck a little longer then they should have. Four audibly cleared his throat, which finally got Eric's hands off of Jade. Eric walked around to the other side of Jade and threw a devious smile at Four, "A little territorial now are we?" He asks as he ran his hand across Jades thigh, -She didn't smack his hand away due to the effects of the serum-causing Four to impulsively stand from his seat. Jade watched Eric and Four aggressively stare each other down. "No fighting while I'm nearly unconscious please." She weakly demanded, just before fading into darkness. Moments later she opened her eyes, and as expected she wasn't in the small little room with Four nor Eric.

She looked around, and even though it was fairly dark it seemed as if she were in a large cellar room with tanks of some sort all around. She took a few steps forward, "Is anyone there?" She called. Just then, she could feel a hand gently land onto her back. She gasped, quickly turning around, "Jade there you are! Tris and I have been looking for you, are you okay?" The sweaty, heavily armed and slightly bloody Four asks her, she peers around him to see Tris, armed and sweaty just as him. "Yeah I'm fine, what's going on? And why do you have those guns?" Jade asks worried, "It's Jeanine, she's started a war and she's using the Dauntless as her simulation controlled muscle. Our whole factions out there killing the Abnegation and they don't even realize it." Four quickly explains, "and we need to go now and stop her. She's in Dauntless Headquarters." Tris says stepping beside Four.

Jade nods, "Then what're we waiting for? Let's go!" She says as she heads in the direction of the exit. The two follow behind her and Four swiftly tosses her a handgun that he had lodged in his pants. "Natalie wait!" A familiar voice called from behind them, Jade stopped in her tracks and turned to see two far figures running their way. It was her brother Miles and oddly enough, a taller, faceless male figure. They approached them, "Nat, we need to go to Home." Her brother says breathlessly, he was heavily armed also, "half the brain-dead Dauntless army is headed for Amity." He adds.

"Yeah sis, we need to go save mom and dad. They're putting bullets into stiffs heads and I'm not about sit around and watch them do the same to our parents. I'm not about let a part of my real family die, especially before I get the chance to meet them." This faceless figure says, and by the way he spoke Jade realized this unidentifiable person was suppose to be the embodiment of their little brother William. It was very odd and even though her 'little brother's' facial appearance was unrecognizable and unfamiliar, his body type and voice was. There was this.. vibe he gave off, that made her feel like she had already became familiar with who ever this faceless young man was, but she just couldn't put her finger on it. "Jade are you coming?" Tris questioned knocking her out of her daze, she looks to her friend and boyfriend, then back at both of her brother's. She stepped in front of Miles and the faceless William, "Mom, dad and our whole faction need all of our help right now, I totally get it. But you two going to Amity by yourself's is suicide and you both know that. So what I'm gonna do is go with Four and Tris to stop not just the half of Dauntless pointing guns at all of Abnegation, but also the half that's threatening the lives of our parents too. What I need to know is, are you two coming with?" Jade asks her brothers, the two unsure brothers look at one another.

"I'm sorry Nat, but we can just go on a lim here and try and stop Jeanine while their out there. What if we don't succeed in time?" Miles asks, Jade shakes her head. "If you keep thinking like that then yeah maybe, you can't go through life's complications focused on the possibility of failing Miles. Please come with us, I won't be able to focus knowing my whole entire family is in danger." Jade desperately pleads, but she knew all to well her older brother was just as stubborn as she was. "Nat, I'm sorry," he says, "we just can't." Jade looks at him and William concerned. She then hugs the both of them together, and sends them on their way with a 'be safe'. Jade, Four and Tris head in the other direction towards the other exit, in the direction of the city's train system. "Let's get this over with." She says determinedly, cocking the gun in her hand.

It is then the scene around Jade fades, contorts, and changes in an instant. She looks around to take in her new surroundings, and she realizes she's back in Dauntless Headquarters. In front of her stood Erudite's leader, -obviously enraged-, neatly dressed in blue, Jeanine Matthews. Suddenly the blonde Erudite leader comes charging at her, Jade quickly got her footing together and just as Jeanine came close she launched her fist directly into her jaw. As the knowledge-loving leader falls to the ground, Jade notices Four was handling another Erudite male to her right.

When he finally subdued the faction system traitor, Jades attention was called to one of the monitors behind her. She could see Max, and other Erudite-Dauntless dressed traitors charging down the hallway towards them. "Four where's Tris? We need to go now!" Jade says, "I'm right her-," Tris tries to announce her presence, but a male Erudite came up behind her and put her in a head lock position. Four was the closest to Tris so he attempted to run to her aid, but Jade had also noticed another traitor running from the side towards her boyfriend. "Four watch out!" She warned him, and luckily Four turned and successfully clotheslined the traitor with his left arm.

Four then went after the guy that still had Tris in a head lock. Fortunately he got him off her and threw him -very forcefully- into a nearby wall, and all three of them made a break for the other exit. They made it out the room where Erudite had set up but, a few left turns throughout Dauntless lead them right into the hands of evil. They stopped in their tracks, "You've gotta be kidding me." Jade muttered as she met her eyes with piercing light blue ones, that laid past a barrel of a gun. "Sorry to break it to ya sweet-cheeks but, this isn't a laughing matter." A deep, skin crawling voice says.

"Eric just let us go." Tris says with pleading eyes, but held a brave expression. "That's adorable stiff, but unfortunately it's not gonna be that easy." He replies, Jade scoffs and steps forward, regardless of the loaded gun Eric had pointed at her head. "Just for the record, no ones afraid of you Eric." Jade sneers as Four and Tris follow behind her. "Oh I beg to differ on the who's afraid of who part. And I'm only 'acting' tough, cuz this gun in my hand says I can." Eric retorts, "Now before I change my mind, I'll be glad to make a deal with you three." He surprisingly offers. Jade, Four and Tris look at one another unsure. "What deal?" Four asks irritable.

The smile Eric had widened, "The deal is, I'll let you guys go, on one condition." He pauses, pulling the safety off on the gun, "one of you has to come with me." He adds. Jade could feel her skin boil as the words left his mouth, she knew by the look in his eye Eric hoped she'd be the one they'd hand over. But before Jade could step forward to ensure the safety of her friend and boyfriend, Four stopped her, and pulled her to look at him. "I'm not letting you go with him. I'd rather die then have you go with him." Four says holding a strong grip on her, "I could have that arranged you know?" Eric says with a happy tone in his voice. "Shut it Eric!" Jade yells, and he rolls his eyes, and kept his finger rested on the trigger of his gun. "Just saying jeez." He mutters.

"Four, I'm not letting you nor Tris go with him. And it's pretty damn obvious I'm the one he wants." - "and that's all the more a good reason as to why I'm not letting you go with him. I'm not gonna stand here and give him the satisfaction, nonetheless give him my girlfriend. I'd rather end up with a bullet in my skull then let you go with him. I'm sorry." Four argues pulling her back next to Tris. He kissed her one last time before heading off with Eric. "Go, and I swear to god Natalie, don't come back." He demands, pointing in the opposite direction of Eric and him. Jade sheds a tear, and Tris is forced to pull her away and towards the nearest exit of Dauntless. The whole way out their factions headquarters she struggled to fight the urge to turn around and go back. Once they were out the doors of the large building, Jade stopped and Tris noticed. "What are you doing? We need to go Jade, we need to go to Amity and find your family." Tris says reminding her of the unbearable, Jade wipes her tears and shakes her head.

"I'm sorry but I can't do this. I can't just leave him behind. I can't just waltz right out of here and leave behind the love of my life. I-I can't." Jade argues with her frustrated, "You heard what he said, he said not to come back." Tris responded. "Yeah I heard what he said, but just cuz he said it doesn't mean I have to listen to him. You can come with me or not, I don't care." Jade tells her and heads back through the doors, and towards the direction Four and Eric were last in. She gets there they were already gone, she turns back and travels through the halls of Dauntless in a hurry, yet stealthily. She passes the hall to the chasm and couldn't help but notice exactly what she was looking for. There they were, Four on his knees with his hand restrained behind his back. Eric was resting his guns barrel on his forehead.

Jade carefully, and oh so quietly snuck into that same hallway, and listened in as Eric continued to flap his lips. ". . .Oh really now?? It's funny you say that and you're the one who's duck taped with a gun to your head. You're a coward." Eric spat, Four tried to push Eric's gun away by moving his head. "How about you get this duct tape off me and put down the gun, we'll find out whose the real coward then won't we?" Four replies back, Eric maliciously laughs. "Not a chance Tobias." Eric responds, Four clenches his teeth. Jade crept even slower once she was about a few feet behind Eric, she was so close she was able to make eye contact with Four; and unfortunately, Eric noticed.

Him noticing Jade gave Four the strength to break free from the duck tape. He quickly hits the gun out of Eric's hand before he could even point it at Jade. The gun fell in front of Jade and she quickly picked it up and pointed in the direction of Eric and Four. She focused her aim on Eric as much as possible, considering him and Four had begun fighting. Eric tackled Four to the ground, and they both went down. Eric tried to plummet him but Four had blocked each swing, he eventually pushed Eric off and stood. Eric stood as well and the two swung at each other simultaneously, causing them to lock arms, and to Jade's surprise, Four pulled back Eric's arm to the point it broke. He screamed in pain as Four slammed him down by his now fractured appendage. Eric was now nearly dangling over the edge of the chasm.

Jade had kept her sights on Eric, and for the first time, she could see genuine emotion from the arrogant piece of shit. She could see fear, and pure terror as Four tilted him over the edge even more. "Four don't." Jade says quickly, and Four hesitantly pulled him from the edge, looking at Jade confused. "Pull him over here." Jade said gesturing to the ground in front of her with the gun. Four does as she says and Eric groaned as he was dragged by his broken arm. Four released him and stepped back, Jade then steps up to Eric. "Thanks for stopping Mr. Daddy issues here from killing me. Believe or not I like living." Eric says clutching onto his arm.

Jade sucks her teeth at his comment and chuckles, "oh, you won't be saying that here in a minute, see Eric I only stopped him from letting you fall to your death cuz something you said got to me." Jade pauses and grips the gun tighter, Four and Eric stare at her confused. "You once said to Four here that a Brave man never surrenders correct?" Jade asks him nodding her head to her boyfriend, Eric slowly nods, unsure. Jade then quickly pulls the safety off the gun and puts a bullet in both his left and right thigh, and then, two more into each of his calf's. He screamed out in pain, "well I'm gonna give you a chance Eric, Let's see just how brave you are and imma go out on a lim here and assume it won't take you long to crawl down them stairs, all the way through the pit and into the infirmary; before bleeding out. Bet out all the things they taught you back at Erudite, they never taught you how to remove a bullet or four, did they?" Jade says laughing, just before leaving to Amity with the Four, who of which was absolutely baffled by her actions. Jade and Four run through and out of Dauntless, towards the same exit Tris and her had almost left through.

Once they were aboard the train Jade takes the gun she possessed from Eric, flips the safety on and lodges it in her pants. She sighs and wipes the sweat from her forehead as the train began to speed up. Eventually, she feels two hands slip onto her waist, and she turns around. She looked up at Four as he looked down at her. "I gotta admit, my girlfriend's a bit of a badass." He tells her, she laughs and leans her head onto his chest. Four lifts her head back up with his finger, "how... how did you know Eric was an Erudite transfer?" Four questions her softly, "it was an estimated guess you could say. He's and asshole yes, but he's not dumb. You have to at least be a little bit of a genius to be a certified dickhead." Jade answers.

They make it to Amity, and once they arrive they could spot Max and the other Dauntless traitors are already there and have guns to the heads of every possible person Jade cared about. She races through the field of green short grass undetected -regardless of the fact Four tried to stop her-, and she jumped up onto a picnic table, ran across it, pounced onto Max's back and held her loaded gun against his temple. Jade demanded he call off every single one of the apparent Erudite Dauntless fakes. He did and they all dropped their weapons, which Tris, Miles, Ben, William, and even her parents picked up and aimed back at them. They successfully restrained everyone who worked with Jeanine, and celebrated their victory, which ended Jade's Leadership simulation test.

She fluttered her eyes open, but she was forced to squint due to the bright light above her. Her head was pounding but she manages to realize she's out of the simulation, and back in the small white room, with Eric and Four. They both stared at the screen amazed, eventually Jade could hear a scoff traveling from behind her. She also remembers the both of them just saw everything that happened in her mind. Eric had walked to the other side of her chair and those same piercing blue eyes had locked with hers.

"She's a leader alright." He says.
