[Chapter 2]

♥︎Married and Blessed♥︎

Lumira

I don't want to admit it but I'm really excited about our date tonight.

I have wrapped up my work by 5:30 and did a quick make-up in the washroom to look presentable. I usually look like a mess leaving my workplace.

"When are you gonna introduce him to us?" My colleague Nyssa asks, wriggling her brows.

I grab my stuff and put my tote bag over my shoulder, ready to leave.

"Let me introduce myself to him first." I laugh.

"What do you mean?" Her brows furrow.

"We barely know each other. Our parents fixed this marriage. So yeah." I shrug.

Nyssa's eyes widen slightly, "Damn. That's one hell of a risk, girl."

I click my tongue. "I know. But I guess I'm ready for it. Now bye. See ya tomorrow."

"Bye!" I wave at her and scurry to the elevators. Saying bye to the guards and other employees on my way out, I finally get to the side curb and wait.

"Lumira?" I turn over my shoulder to see Ayan has already arrived and is now walking over to me.

Lookig as dashing as ever in a dark blue button down shirt, jeans, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. I can see the expensive watch sitting on his wrist. He looks less formal than yesterday, but more beautiful.

"Hey." I greet with a smile.

Conincidentally, I'm wearing a navy blue frock with princessy shoes and my hair tied with a bow. I had changed in the washroom before leaving.

"We're matching." He says with a playful glint, I chuckle.

"Seems so."

"I've parked over there. Let's go." He points to an Audi parked on the side.

I follow him to his car and he opens the door for me to get in. I mumble a thanks and sit down, watching him round the car and take the seat behind the wheels.

The small space inside the car is full of his scent, a bit musky and spicy. It sends shudders down my spine.

Suddenly I notice he's looking at me with a little hesitation.

"What?" I ask.

"Uhm." He doesn't respond verbally, instead leans over the console and my breath hitches in my throat.

Our eyes briefly lock as he grabs the seatbelt and drags it down. Both of us too busy in staring at each other so when his hand brushes over my chest, I inhale sharply.

Fucking fuck.

"S-sorry." He murmurs and quickly buckles me up then returns to his seat to start the car.

I turn my face towards the window to hopefully hide the blooming redness of my cheeks.

I shuffle my legs a bit closer and shift on the seat, not daring to look Ayan's way for the rest of the ride.

So, there's this secret I haven't told anyone. Not like it is to announce, what I mean is I never told any of my past partners. Fearing they'd find it weird.

I love having my partners touch or pay extra attention to my breasts. Partners usually do that during intimate moments, but my craves go beyond those. I'm like not satisfied with the minimal attention they pay. I need more.

And when Ayan's hand brushed that way, I can already feel my nipple's hardened in attention, but it should relax by the time we arrive at our destination.

I can't help but imagine how would it feel to have Ayan touch them, or his mouth around-

"You okay?"

I'm brought back to reality by Ayan's alluring voice and turn to see we have arrived at the mall.

"Yeah." I smile, somewhat convincingly. Like I wasn't just day dreaming about him and my boobs together.

"Let's go then." He says.

We step out of the car and head in the mall. The illuminated round shaped building is mesmerizing to awe at.

"Where should we start first?" He asks.

"Uh," I think for a second. "Since nothing's final yet, let's get something small. Maybe our engagement rings." I suggest.

"That'd be cool. Come on." He holds out his palm for me to take.

I look at it then up at his face, he urges with his eyes and I put my hand on his, my heart warming up when he entwines our fingers together and starts dragging me to a possible jewellery store.

I don't remember ever feeling this giddy and happy about holding anyone's hand ever before.

While at the store, I look at the rings and my eyes catch a beautiful pair with purple stones. I ask the woman behind the section to take it out for me.

I look over for Ayan's opinion but he's engrossed in something else.

"Hey," I call over.

He nods at me, then talks to the other employee there then walks over to me.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I ask, showing him the pair.

"Perfect." He smiles. "Pack these." He orders and the woman nods with a slight bow.

"What were you looking at?" I ask while we wait for our rings.

He grins mischievously. "You'll see." He winks, making me blush.

The woman returns with two bags and Ayan takes one first, bringing something out of it. He hands me a square box. I frown but open it, gasping out loud as an ethereal almond shaped diamond locket comes in my view.

"My first gift for my date." He says and the dreamy look in his dark brown eyes makes my knees weak.

"It's gorgeous. Thank you." I smile wide.

"Let me put it on for you." He takes the chain and I turn my back to him, pulling my hair to one side so he can put it on me.

Ayan stands so close to me, I can feel his breath fanning my neck and when he wraps the chain around my neck, his hands brush my skin. I close my eyes to not embarrass myself by making any weird sound.

"Done." He murmurs right in my ear and I have to suck in a breath because of how sensual it felt. "It looks amazing on you."

"Thanks." I reply, admiring myself in the mirror. The locket sits perfectly on my chest. Giving me an elegant look.

"Come on, I'm hungry. We should get some food." He says.

Without hesitation, Ayan takes my hand and I willingly wrap mine around his, following him to the food court.

Throughout the dinner, we talk a lot. About everything and nothing, asking each other stupid questions to get to know better. We laugh, we chat, we eat.

After having spent a heartfelt dinner and shopping together, Ayan drives me home. I'm staying at my own condo tonight so I give him the address of it.

"Wanna come in for a cup of tea?" I offer.

Actually, I'm not ready to part from him yet. There's something about him that just keeps pulling me to him, as if my heart can sense the destined bond and longs for his presence, and I've only known him for two days.

His eyes sparkle at the offer and he grins, the dimple on his cheeks make my heart drum like a mad horse galloping.

"Sure."

He parks the car on the driveway and locks it before following me up the porch, to the stairs of my home.

Having my soon to be husband alone in my home sends goosebumps to rise all over my skin.
