CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

3 Months Later......

Paisley Redmond P.O.V

Life has been purely blissful.

In the past three months, I have experienced nothing but happiness. That kind of happiness I never thought I could live with, but I was proved wrong. Absolutely wrong!

Probably this was God's reward for all the difficulties thrown in my path.

Mine and Kyle's bond is getting strengthend day by day. We make sure to spend as much time as we can with each other. But from the past few days, work load has been huge. It's kept us both really busy, so busy that, we don't have time to sit and have a meal together. So, today Kyle has decided to take me out for dinner.

We decided to leave the kids over at Mel's. As for Mel, she has been doing great now, her health is back to normal and there are no restrictions applicable to her. Mel and Nick are really eager to have another child. Therefore, they are trying without receiving any kind of medical help.

It was currently 7:00 pm and I was getting ready for the dinner date as Kyle loves to call it.

I decided to wear a white formal cut sleeves jumpsuit with band neck. Paring it up with nude colour heels and a matching clutch. I decided to do a little make up and applied a red colour to pump my look letting my hair fall down in natural waves.

Once satisfied with my look I texted Kyle telling him I was ready.

"Mommy!!!" The kids barged inside the room and came running to me.

"Yes, babies?" I asked a smile automatically made its way upto ny face as they came and sat next to me on the bed.

"You look prewtty!" Noah said touching my hair.

"Yes, mommy. You look sooo bootiful" Ryder said scanning me.

"Thank you, sweethearts." I said and gently pinched their cheeks.

"Mommy, when will daddy come?" Ryder asked.

"He should be here any minute now." I answered as I saw the time in my wrist watch, it was 7:20.

"Yipee!" Both the boys said and gave each other a high-five.

"Why are you both so excited?" I asked with a little chuckle.

"Because we can then go and play with Brwandon." Noah replied happily his eyes twinkling.

I smiled at their innocence and continued talking to them till the bell rang.

"Daddy's here!" They shouted and jumped off the bed running towards the stairs.

I checked my appearance one last time in the mirror and walked down after taking a deep breath.

I walked down the stairs and saw Kyle looking hot dressed in grey slacks, check shirt, navy blue jacket and tie.

I descended down the staircase walking slowly smiling at the scene in front of me.

The boys were animatedly to Kyle, while he listened to them attentively.

As if on cue Kyle looked up from the boys sensing my presence.

His eyes taking their own sweet time to roam around figure intently, making my cheeks redden. He looked up to me and licked his lips causing butterflies to form in my stomach. His gaze held raw lust making my heart hammer inside my chest.

He slowly walked towards me and crashed me to his chest by my waist.

"You look ravishing!" Kyle said brushing his lips against mine making my heart rate to increase even more and my cheeks to burn.

To answer the question of those who are thinking if we have been sexually involved till yet? The answer would be a simple no. It may sound strange since everything is fine between us now, but I still need sometime and courage to get till there.

"Let's get going, sexy." He whispered looking at me with his dark brown orbs.

"You look quite good yourself." I said as we walked linking our arms together.

"Good!? I look hot!" Kyle said smirking.

"Arrogant much?" I asked playfully rolling my eyes.

"Hell yeah!" He said making me laugh.

"Let's get going boys." Kyle said as well were walking out.

They immediately stated walking towards the door.

As we reached the door I realised I hadn't picked up the twin's bags.

"Kyle, I'll be right back. I forgot the twin's bags in their room." I said about to turn around and go back upstairs.

"I'll go get them, you go." He said and ran up the stairs without giving me the chance to reply.

I walked towards the car where Ryder and Noah were waiting.

"Where at you and daddy going, mum?" Ryder asked.

"For dinner, love. We are going out for dinner." I told him.

"Okay. Enjoy!" They both said together giggling giving me amused looks.

"What the reason behind those looks, boys?" I asked him raising my eyebrow.

They just shrruged their shoulders and turned away from me.

In the meantime Kyle came back and helped me settling the boys into their car seats and we drove off.

After dropping the boys off at Mel's me and Kyle went to our favourite restaurant Le Gavroche.

Just coming back to this place brings back so many memories. We often used to come here together and many a times with our friends. Even our wedding announcement to our friends were made here.

"So, this brings back many memories, huh?" Kyle asked as we sat down.

"Of course. Of course, it does." I told him with a satisfied smile.

"Baby, what's up with your family?" Kyle asked me.

"Nothing much. Grandma just came back from her sisters house two weeks ago. Aunt Amelia is happy with her kids and husbands." I told him.

"What about your brothers?" Kyle asked me. My cousin brothers Emmett and Dylan had always been beside me throughout. Since, I was a little girl they had been very over protective of me. They even shared a strong equation with Kyle.

"Well, Dylan had a daughter two years ago and Emmett is getting married in June next year." I told him.

"Dylan got married!?" Kyle asked shocked.

"Yep! I was just equally shocked when I got to know about it." I said.

"And what about Emmett, is he getting married to the same girl he was serious about all those years back?" Kyle asked taking a sip of his wine.

"Yes, he is getting married to Sapphire." I confirmed.

After this we chatted about random things and enjoyed our dinner.

As the dinner was coming to an end Kyle started getting nerveous, making me wonder what happened to him suddenly.

"Are you alright, baby?" I asked him keeping my hand on top of his.

"Yeah. I am fine. Why would you asked that?" He said through a forced smile.

"You don't seem fine. You look rather nerveous." I said.

"Nah, I really am fine." He said again. I just gave him a small smile and nodded my head letting the topic slide for the time being.

"I'll be right back." Kyle said and stood up to leave.

I shrugged and continued to devour my chocolate dessert.

In a few minutes Kyle was back.

We stayed silent enjoying our sweets until Kyle spoke.

"Paisley, I know I have told you this alot of times but I still want you to know. I feel so lucky having you in my life. With whatever has happened between us, it was really big of you to forget everything, forgive me and stay with me again.

It's tough to put up with me, with my attitude, my selfishness, my arrogance, my ruthlessness. There are many other flaws in me that I can't even list. When I think back to all the things that I lack, I feel greatful to have you. It's only you who has the power and ability to tame me, to tolerate me, to put up with me. If it would have been any other woman, she would have given up on me and left as soon as she could. But you didn't, you know me more than I know myself.

Whatever I am today, it's all because of you. This increasing money, fame, success, is only because of you. It's because of what you have made me. Words are not sufficient to thank you for everything you have done for me.

Your kindness, patience, calmness, your loving and caring attitude is what completes me. You have all the things I lack, you complete me, you complete my life. You have gifted me with two such amazing children, just looking at the three of you forces me to think about the good deeds I probably did to have you people.

At the same time my mind also thinks of the meaningful events that I have missed in the past four years. But now, I have a chance to not miss out on anything further, all becuase of you. I can't thank you enough for it. Paisley,

I love you more than anything else in this world. You come before anything or anyone else in this world for me. You are the only one I want, the only one I need, the only one I desire. You are my everything, you are my treasure. Without you, I'll be lost, lost into the dense darkness of my soul. I need you for my f*cking survival! What I feel for you can't be expressed in words. I just want you to know that, I respect you, adore you, worship the ground you walk on.

I love you, treasure. I love you more than life itself. No wait, scratch that, you are my life. Will you please make me the happiness man, by marrying me again, Mrs.Redmond?" Kyle asked as he pulled me up from my seat and bent down on one knee with a beautiful ring in his hand.

The tears that had welled in my eyes on hearing his words, were set free.

Everybody around the resturant left whatever they were doing and turned their heads to see us.

My mind only reminding me of the reason why I love this man so much.

"Love, say something." Kyle said breaking my chain of thoughts.

"Will you do the honour of marrying me again, Mrs.Redmond?" Kyle asked again.

"Yes. Yes, I will marry you." I whispered with a full blown smile blinking back the tears.

"Say it again!" He said smiling as tears welled in his chocolate brown orbs.

"Yes, I will." I said.

"Again!" He demanded.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! A million times yes!" I replied.

He slipped the ring on my finger and the rest awwed or calpped.

Kyle picked me up and twirled me around making me laugh.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for accepting me, baby. I love with my everything, treasure!" Kyle said as he set me down looking at me with love in his eyes.

"You will never regret it, baby. I promise." He said and kissed me with love.

"I love you too, baby. I love with everything in me." I whispered as he pulled away and rested his head on top of mine.

He kissed my forehead and hugged me close to him.

We were again interrupted by the people gushing.

"Wanna go somewhere quiet?" Kyle asked still hugging me.

I nodded my head in response cherishing the moment.

"Everything seems like a dream." I breathed out.

Me and Kyle were at London Eye. The place where we first met.

"It's not a dream, baby. It's the truth. The reality." Kyle said tightening his hold on my waist from behind resting his chin on top of my head.

"Thank you, Kyle. Thank you for everything you have done for me. For not giving up on me. If you wouldn't have been presistent, I would continue living my lonely life. It's all becuase of you, I am experiencing such happiness. You are the sole reason behind it." I expressed turing around in his arms.

"I haven't done anything. You deserve all of this, even more." Kyle said.

"I love you." I said of the umpteenth time this night.

"I love you too, baby." Kyle said.

We stayed in each other's embrace for a couple of more hours till a stupid yawn escaped my mouth.

"Tired?" Kyle asked with a chuckle and I gave him a sheepish smile.

"Let's get you home. It's already long past midnight." He said as we walked towards the car.

"And please, don't worry about the kids. They are ready fast asleep. Nick will drop them first thing tomorrow morning." Kyle said.

"So, this means everybody knew about it?" I asked we sat inside the car.

"Yeah." He replied.

"You're sneaky." I told him.

"I know." He said with a wink. "But in my defense, I want sometime with you alone. Those two monkey's have invaded our bed. Sleeping between us for the last three weeks." Kyle grumbled.

I laughed at his action.

After reached home. We immediately retired to the bed holding each other till we feel asleep with content smiles on our faces.

She Was Broken Beyond Repair was on number 15 in the romance what's hot list from "7th June 2016 - 11th June 2016"
