Chapter 316 – Complaint Call

Ai Mi looked at me complacently after she heard Xiong YaoYue’s words of devotion. It probably meant “This is how you act as a qualified subordinate”.

Thus, Ai Mi led her two subordinates (Xiong YaoYue and me), as if she was leading a thousand man army, arrogantly to the fourth floor.

When we passed by the Häagen-Dazs counter, Xiong YaoYue sent a few glances at it, and Ai Mi immediately bought her three scoops to eat.

“Ah, it’s embarrassing being treated by Miss Ai Mi.”

Xiong YaoYue said as she scratched her head while eating the ice cream.

However, there was an out of place tile. Basically, the white and black tile had their correct positions swapped.

It would be unbearable for someone who had OCD like the class leader.

So, that’s the problem. No wonder Shu Zhe was standing far away with a bitter face and pretending he doesn’t know you. It’s indeed a bit embarrassing for your sister to get into a heated argument over an out of place tile. But you guys look similar and you’re both wearing jeans and a white shirt, almost everyone would know you guys are siblings.

Some passersby heard the class leader’s conversation. Some covered their mouths and laughed while others began to whisper to each other.

“She’s a good-looking girl, but gets pretty awful on the phone. Her boyfriend is going to have it tough.”

“It’s not like it’s the tiles in her house, it’s fine if there’s a mistake. Does she get paid for being nosy?”

Shu Zhe changed to a posture to reflect his youthfulness and believed he was the focus point of the crows when he heard praise. It was as if he was surrounded by camera flashes and he wanted his handsome figure to be recorded into the pictures.

Some men even sneaked a few glances at him.

Shu Zhe interpreted the men’s gazes as envy and he became more arrogant. He even considered the shoe store as a model walkway as he paced back and forth.

When we were on the elevator, Ai Mi was telling Xiong YaoYue about ‘the three laws you must know for a subordinate’ and Xiong YaoYue was listening earnestly while licking her ice cream. That’s why she was a bit slow at recognizing the class leader and her brother.

When Xiong YaoYue saw the class leader, she wanted to go and give her a passionate hug, but she gave up when she saw her panting with rage while speaking on the phone.

Ai Mi was the first one who saw Shu Zhe showing off. Perhaps it was because she was used to acting in front of a camera, so she could easily recognize when someone wanted to show off.

Ai Mi beckoned Xiong YaoYue to keep up, so she could act as her bodyguard. Then, the two of them approached Shu Zhe.

Shu Zhe met Xiong YaoYue before, so he already knew she was class 2-3 PE committee member who always causes trouble for his sister. But he didn’t recognize Ai Mi who looked like a flawless Barbie doll.
