Chapter 513: Birthday Invite

In a blink of eye, there were only two more weeks until summer break.

In other words, there was the same amount of time left before the finals.

Other than the politics exam on July 5 which was an open-book exam, I have to make sure to not get careless on the other exams. My dad didn’t really have any requirements for my grades, but I always felt I should at least reach the minimum standards.

The only exception was English where my scores were usually in the single digits. I wouldn’t be able to create a miracle no matter how hard I tried hard.

The students also communicated less as we entered the cramming period for the finals, but since 28 Middle was chosen as the examination site for the high school entry exams, we were able to get a rare break during that time.

Although the high school entry exams meant the basketball team’s captain Guo SongTao will graduate, but on the bright side, we were given three days of vacation from June 25 to June 27.

But although we can be rest for three days from June 25 ~ June 27, we have two attend two days of classes on the weekend on the 29th and 30th. It’s still not that bad since some schools will have classes on two consecutive weekends, which meant that you actually had to attend an extra day even after given a three day break.

By the way, I just learned that Gong CaiCai’s birthday is on June 26th.

That day is also the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, International Charter Day, and the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. I always felt that God let Gong CaiCai be born on this day because there’s some kind of hidden meaning of protecting the weak.

On Monday, June 24, Gong CaiCai sheepishly invited the class leader to attend her small-scale birthday party the day after tomorrow.

“Because, because my parents left for Hainan for business matters, I was given permission to invite some of my classmates to come and spend my birthday with me, but I can only invite a maximum of five people… class leader, can you come?”

The other girls either cause trouble for her because of jealousy (like Xiao Qin) or take advantage of her because she’s a weakling. As for inviting a boy, she never even considered it.

Even though Gong CaiCai instructed them to keep it a secret, Xiong YaoYue still heard about it from Loud Mouth. She immediately went to Gong CaiCai and questioned why she wasn’t invited to the birthday party.

“Is it because I eat too much? Loud Mouth eats way more than me. Invite me, I’ll bring a cake.”

Loud Mouth came up from behind, “You always bully Cai Cai, so it’s normal for her to not invite you.”

Xiong YaoYue got anxious, “I… it’s because Cai Cai is too cute, I can’t help but bully her. I still consider Cai Cai as a good friend, if she doesn’t invite me, my heart will break. From then on I’ll become an emotionless zombie running continuously around the track.

What a suspicious laugh, who’s the person Xiong YaoYue wants to bring that made the class leader instantly change her opinion? She blushed in the same manner as when she sees a cute animal.

I don’t care, it has nothing to do with me anyway. Gong CaiCai definitely doesn’t have the guts to invite boys to her house and now the quota of 5 people is already full. I’ll just leisurely enjoy my three day vacation.

On the afternoon of the 26th, I received a message from Ai Mi saying she was going to attend a ‘civilian event’ and asked me to accompany her. Peng TouSi was the one who drove her outside my home.

I sat in the back with her full of doubts.

“Manservant, when we get there you can’t speak out of place, look at me before acting, understand?”

Then wouldn’t I be the sixth person? I’m also a boy, so Gong CaiCai will be worried about being scolded by her parents, even though one more person isn’t a big deal…

“Why should I accompany you?” I suddenly felt it would be a bit awkward if I was the only boy with six other girls.
