SINCE STILES WAS BUSY AND SCOTT WAS OUT WITH ALLISON, LYDIA AND JACKSON, HAZEL DECIDED TO GO OUT AND GO TO THE TANK STORE TO BUY A SNACK.
She placed the snack on the top as the worker scanned them. "3,50£ please."
Hazel pulled out her 5 dollar money and passed them to him as he passed her some money back only to tug them to the pocket of her jacket and take the snack with her.
She walked out and opened her snack and walked some steps nearby by the tank and noticed a black car and a sudden person but it was not just a person.
It was Derek.
Hazel didn't know if she should run or stay frozen like she was now. She felt weak in her knees whenever she would see him.
When Derek looked up and surrounded his sight, he suddenly stopped once he saw Hazel standing there next to the gas station staring frozen at him.
Derek narrowed his eyes a bit and looked at what she was holding then back to her brown eyes.
The two had a staring contest but Derek broke it once he looked at the red car arriving across his car and another grey car from behind.
Was Hazel safe now or what?
There walked out Allison's father and checked Derek's car out with a grin. Two other man from behind his car stepped out of the grey one and stood against the car.
His men.
Derek pulled out the petrol device and placed it in the gas station and closed the gap of the car.
Allison's father walked towards Derek's car. "Nice ride. Black Cars, though. Very hard to keep clean. I would definitely suggest a little more maintenance. If you have something this nice, you want to take care of it, right?"
But all he did was cleaning his car but that didn't look like it a lot to Hazel's feeling.
"Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love. But that's something I learned from my family. And you don't have much of that these days." Hazel widened her eyes a bit at that.
How dare he?
"Do you?" He challenged as he turned to Derek that fisted his hand and the man noticed that till Derek released his fist making the man look up at him with a sarcastic grin. "There we go. You can actually look through your windshield now. See how that makes everything so much clearer?"
He turned to walk away before Derek spoke up. "You forgot to check the oil."
He turned around and spoke to the man. "Check the man's oil."
One of his men pushed himself away from the grey car and walked towards Derek's car just to break his window with a bat.
Hazel jumped at that.
"Looks good to me." The man said before walking back to the car.
"Drive safely." He turned to walk away before he noticed Hazel. "Hey teen, Hazel right? You're friends with my daughter." He grinned at her but Hazel already felt uncomfortable and scared. "I'm Chris." then he looked at Derek. "Shouldn't be out here whenever it comes to that person."
With that, âChrisâ walked to his car and jumped in with the others ahead as they drove away from the gas station leaving Hazel and Derek alone again.
Derek looked back to where Hazel stood completely still and scared. He sensed it as he looked towards his car then back to the girl.
"Need a ride?" He suddenly asked her as she looked at him and didn't know how to respond in fear. He walked across his car to open the door and jump inside but before he did he looked up to the girl. "Get in."
Hazel let out a shakily breath before she walked towards the car slowly and quickly put her snack inside her pocket of the jacket and got in.
When he started driving, it was so silent that Hazel just wanted to go unconscious and not wake up.
Anyway, while Derek was driving Hazel decided to look at Derek to see his eyes fixed on the road.
She quickly looked away towards the road and started to get an anxiety attack but remained calm.
Derek sensed her heartbeat and looked over to check on her. He checked her from the chest that was moving up and down a little rapidly then up to her.
While he looked back to the road, he decided to place his hand on her thigh and rubbed his thumb over it to calm her down which she did.
A couple minutes later, he put his hand away to turn off the engine because they arrived at the hospital and turned to her. "I'm just going to finish something. You stay here." Derek said before stepping out of the car.
Once he was out of sight, Hazel let out a long breath and inhaled again. Once she was calm, she let out a noise of sob and looked out to place her elbow on the window, along with her hand on her forehead.

Derek drove her over to his apartment 'cause he knew that she was going to be left alone. No wonder 'cause he was right.
Hazel sat there on the bottom of the stairs while playing with her nails nervously. She slowly looked up to the left side to see Derek standing there against the wall frame with arms crossed and watching her with a straight face which made her look down to her nails again.
He was watching her as if he tried to look through her but remained silent. Hazel heard his footsteps fading away and picked up her head to see him out of sight.
Until the door opened to see an angry Scott walking in and the door closing. "Derek! I know you're here!" He shouted. He looked down too see Hazel as he widened his eyes. "Hazel!? Whaâ... what are you doing here!?"
Hazel closed her eyes and hung her head low.
"I know what you did!"
That's when Derek's echo voice surrounded the whole apartment. "I didn't do anything."
Scott stepped towards the stairs. "You killed him!"
Hazel shot up her head and then realised when flashback went through her head.
"I'm just going to finish something. You stay here."
"He died." Derek calmly said.
"Like your sister died?" Scott started slowly walking up the stairs.
"My sister was missing." Derek reasoned. "i came here looking for her." He said.
"You found her." Scott said.
"I found her in pieces, being used as bait to catch me." Derek rose his voice.
"I think you killed them both." Scott said and Hazel that still sat down there was starting to hug her arms around her legs to hug herself. "I'm gonna tell everyone, starting with the Sheriff."
He was now up the stairs and looked around for any sight of him before Derek came from behind and pushed him towards the stairs which made Scott fall down all the way.
Hazel quickly stood up to see Scott on the ground. "Scott!" She ran towards him and kneeled down to check on her brother that laid on the floor.
When Scott picked his head up, Hazel quickly backed away while on the floor by his face that turned to a wolf form.
Derek jumped over the stairs down the floor as Scott roared at him and grabbed him as he threw him through the wall which made Derek fly some inches away.
To Hazel's surprise.
Derek took off his jacket and walked some steps forward to slowly morph his face into his werewolf form as Scott went towards him and the two started fighting.
"Hazel! Get out of here!" Scott's roared voice shouted out to her as she quickly ran out of the house towards the woods.
At night. Great.
She was breathing rapidly. She was scared enough of the day. Every time she would walk away and look around, she felt like a person stood behind her.
So she did look from behind but no one was there.
As she stopped walking, she turned back around to see the man from the other day standing there as she screamed and quickly ran away.
Hazel ran as fast as she could until she fell down and hurt her ankle making her grunt and touch it. She quickly looked behind her to see the man gone. To her luck.
Who was that man?
S/T: If I could change the sky.
