Chapter 58: 53- Saving Hales

SPY ✔︎ DEREK HALEWords: 5458

HAZEL HAD BEEN FEELING A LITTLE WEIRD AND CURIOUS. DAVID HAD INFORMED HER THAT DEREK AND PETER MAY HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED.

She was lucky to know where the two were. Because without her Vampire senses, they would've been left there not knowing for how long.

The worst thing is that they were locked up somewhere in Mexico but it wasn't that far to arrive with her Vampire speed.

"Thank you David. It means a lot to me. Except that I would leave Peter suffer there. But I'm gonna make sure to beat that guy's ass up and feed all his blood out." Hazel angrily threatened which David found impressed. She stood up after taking on her heels until she noticed David eying up her outfit. She rolled her eyes as she glared at him. "What?"

"Nothing. Just looking good as always but this is something new. I'd like to see you everyday like this." David said as she rose a brow at that.

"Oh really?"

"Mm—hm. Yeah."

Hazel nodded with sarcasm hiding as she looked somewhere else before walking off, her hair bouncing.

"Love your make up and hair too!" He called out. Hazel groaned a bit at how hilarious he was acting. He was lucky that no one was home.

The eyes of a Vampire was pretty easy to use. And the super speed to get them tricked was fun to get attention with.

A man with a gun on his hand, stood there completely alone. Hazel slowly grinned as she speed past him letting him know that he heard a echo hiss appear past him as he flinched and quickly looked around.

"Amigo! How are the boys holding up?" Their accent was something Hazel could recognize.

Spanish.

Now it was two of them but that didn't stop Hazel from speeding past them again like a blink of an eye that they couldn't notice.

They looked around as they questioned what that was. That's until her veins formed along with her eyes until she used her last speed to launch towards them and bite the whole man's neck off as he started screaming in agony.

Hazel threw him down as the other was about to shoot her but she was quick and stable to grab his gun and shoot him herself.

All the bullets fell as she stopped with none of them bullets left. At least the man fell down.

She let the gun fall as she made her way to the downstairs.

Once Hazel arrived in front of the wooden door, she kicked it open already seeing a man with a gun aimed at her.

But then she grabbed it leaving the man saying, "No." In absolute fear and nervous to his system.

He was about to punch her but she easily dodged it and punched him with the back of the gun making him stumble out.

Hazel turned her head over her shoulder only to meet those hazel eyes as she slowly grinned. She turned around and placed the gun on the table.

Hazel stepped in front of Derek but still looked at the two with a stupid grin on her lip. She was loving her self confidence at this point.

Derek that was confused but also shocked, couldn't said anything. She left them silent.

"Already a skill fighter i see." Derek spoke up when she stared at him.

"That's how Vampires work." She simply answered before Peter spoke up.

"And now you decided to get us out of here?" Peter questioned.

"Well... Vampires sense any trouble to those they're in touch with. I actually came all the way for someone like him." She mentioned to Derek then turned to Peter. "You? I'm totally fine leaving for dead." Hazel said as she stepped closer to free Derek.

"When did I get this reputation?" Peter questioned Derek while Hazel started untying his wrist. She moved to Peter that never had five seconds to shut up. "Wonder why you didn't bite off the man's neck."

"I don't think you would be ready to see how terrifying it would look on me to let you guys hold it from looking away. You know... the blood all over my mouth and the way I would love to just bite their neck—"

"Okay, stop right there." Hazel smiled at that as she kept on freeing him. "So... what's it like being a Vampire after betraying whole Beacon Hills for hiding it for exact two years. Funny how you look so different ever since that. Looking a bit too good if I'm being honest."

Hazel scoffed at that as she freed him when Peter went down the floor to grab onto his chopped off finger to which she cringed at.

She tried her best to ignore Derek checking her out after Peter said that. Since when did he listen to him?

"Alright, let's get the hell out of here." Hazel made her way to get out already.

"We're not leaving without it." Derek said that earned his attention to stop her from walking any further.

"Without what?" Hazel harshly asked.

The two men shared a look that Hazel hated when she wouldn't get the answer immediately. She hated waiting at the moment.

They walked upstairs and looked around. Then they tried to search for what the Hales were looking for.

Hazel turned around and saw the two already in front of it when Derek went to touch it but then he flinched away as a lightning struck was heard.

"It's made for a Rowan tree." Peter whispered. "It's mountain ash wood. Somebody really doesn't want our hands in there."

Peter inhaled as the two turned their head in sync to Hazel that watched them and understood the look they gave her as she went forward and buried her hands in the ash as she tried to feel something as she found it and picked it up revealing the Triskelion Urn.

What was that?

Hazel ain't no one to play with no more.
