Protectivness
3 Stepbrothers
Ok sorry for the mix up, but Suzie's birthday is in May. The boys birthday is in January. I mixed the two up, sorry about that. Now....on with the chapter.

Shawn's POV
The alarm on my desk started to ring. I groaned, knowing it was time to get up and go to school. See I always used to have my alarm on my nightstand, but then I'd just shut the alarm off and mom would have to wake me up. So now the alarm was on my desk, where I would have to get up and shut it off.
Now the beeping was really starting to bother me.
'SHUT IT OFF!' My vocie said.
'I'm going, I'm going,' I groaned and walked to the alarm. I shut it off and then collapsed on my bed.
I hate school, I hate it so much. What's the point? All we do is wake up early and go for seven hours. I have way better things to do than sit in a classroom filled with people.
I waited a couple minutes and then I got up making my way to my closet. I put a navy blue underarmour shirt, and some sweatpants. Today's a lazy day, what do you expect?
When I was done I headed downstairs with my backpack. By the time I reached the kitchen Tori was already out the door and walking towards the shed. I sat down at the table, Cole was already there along with Bill and mom.
"Morning everyone," I said grabbing some toast.
"Sup Shawn," Cole said munching on cereal.
"Tori already left?" I asked.
The truth is I really hated Tori when mom and Bill remarried. I never wanted a stepsister and neither did my brothers. We were fine just the three of us and mom. But after a while Cole warmed up to Suzie, and slowly to Tori. So I just thought, what the heck? She's funny, and sarcastic. Yeah....sometimes I want to throw her in a sack and throw her down the stairs. But she helped me with math and gave me a location to take Em to for our date. And yeah I can be an asshole, but so is Cole sometimes and Blake....
Never mind him.
"Yeah she left," Bill said taking a sip of coffee, "I better be heading too."
Bill stood up and walked to the stairs.
"Suzie. You're going to be late," he called after her.
"I'm coming daddy," Suzie called.
I chuckled and Cole smiled. Suzie was cute for a nine year old. That I had to admit. At times she could act underaged, but she's smart. Her IQ is ten times higher than mine when I was nine.
'You just insulated yourself Shawn,' Vocie said.
'God shut up.'
I spread some butter on my toast and ate that. Bill grabbed his stuff and started heading for the garage door. Suzie walked down the stairs and I heard Blake trailing behind her.
"If there's something strange," Suzie sang, "In your neighborhood. Who you gonna call?"
"Ghostbusters!" Me and my brothers shouted.
Mom laughed and Bill chuckled. Me and Cole fist bumped while Blake sat beside us grabbing the orange juice.
Suzie laughed and walked to her dad, "Bye daddy."
Bill gave her a hug and kissed her head, "See you later kiddo."
We all waved a goodbye as Bill walked out and to his car. Suzie sat by mom and started eating her cereal.
"I'm in the mood for candy," she blurted out, frowning.
"For breakfast?" Mom asked.
Suzie shrugged, "Just today in general."
Yeah....I remember when I was her age. Good times, good times. I was always on a sugar high, dad always got us candy and junk food. He taught us how to throw a football and kick the ball correctly in soccer. But the candy was always the good thing. So much candy and chips, and ice cream. Those were the days. Where girls supposedly had cooties, and guys were pigs to girls. Well, everyone grows up at some point.
"We can go to the candy store later," I said.
Suzie lit up, "Yeah! Can we? Please?"
I nodded and looked at Cole he smiled and nodded his head. Everyone turned to Blake.
"Yeah why not," Blake shrugged, "Candies awesome."
"Awesome," Suzie said.
So about twenty minutes away there's this strip of buildings with a bunch of stores. American Eagle, Aeropostal, Old Navy, Game Stop, Subway, and other places like that. There's a candy store there, and it has like the best candy in history of candy. The only problem....it's expensive.
"So after school, we'll pick you up and head down to the candy shop," I said.
Everyone nodded and we all continued eating breakfast. Mom got up and put her plate in the sink, going back upstairs to her room. I figured she was going to get her makeup on or something.
"Wait," Suzie said, "What about Tori?"
Whoops, I forgot about Tori. I guess it'd be ok if we brought her along.
"She can stay," Blake said.
Suzie tilted her head at Blake, "Just text her and tell her to get a ride with Mark."
"That's smart," Cole said pulling out his phone.
He texted Tori and then looked back up at us.
"She says ok. She'll just ride with Mark and Cali," Cole replied.
Ok so problem solved. After school, and football practice we would all come back and pick up Suzie, then head to the candy shop. We'd probably just walk around, that's what we tend to do whenever we go.
Mom came back downstairs all ready for work, "Come on Suzie, I need to drop you off."
Suzie got up, grabbing her backpack, "Bye guys."
"Bye," we all called after her.
She and mom headed to the garage and then into the car where they drove out and into the driveway. After me and my brother's were done, we all got out backpacks and headed to Blake's car.
I hoped into the back seat, Cole got shotgun and Blake drove like always. Nothing really changes, no matter how much taller I get. How built I am. Or how awesome I can be, I'll always be the youngest. It doesn't matter if I get older, my brother's will always be two minutes ahead of me, literally.
We didn't say much on out way to school, I mostly thought about what I was going to say to Em. I'd just tell her to meet me at the park on Saturday at three. Is that ok? Or should I pick her up? Nah that's to quick, I think. Whatever I'll just tell her to meet me up, I hope she'll be fine with that.
Blake parked in our usual spot and we got out of the car. We were greeted by some friends and then we walked into my least favorite place on earth.....school.
Tori's POV
Earlier in the day I got a text from Cole saying that no one was going to be home when I get back. That they were going to take Suzie to that candy store. That was fine by me. I'll just get a ride in Mark's pickup and put my bike in the back. He already agreed to it, and me and Cali were going to his house. We call it, doing our homework together, but honestly we talk more then actually do our homework.
Right now we were having lunch, the day went by quickly. Now me, Em, Mark, and Cali were sitting in our regular lunch table. We laughed and talked and then I remembered that I had brought something.
"Oh before I forget," I said pulling my snapbag and looking inside.
"This should be good," Cali chuckled.
I pulled out a pair of really dark sunglasses and handed tnem to Mark, "It's offical."
Everyone at our table laughed as Mark put them on.
"So..." he said, "How do I look?"
Em smirked, "You could bodyguard the president himself."
We all laughed.
After hearing that Mark was my 'bodyguard' I thought, why not have some fun with this right? So I found those old shades and brought them to school.
"You look dashing Mark," Cali said, "Real professional like."
Mark grinned, "Yup, I'm officially the bodyguard. So Tori that means I have to gaurd your body."
I laughed, "When you say it like that, it sounds disgusting."
Em and Cali nodded.
"Never say that again Mark," Em said with a smile.
"Please," Cali added, "It sounds disturbing."
Mark just laughed. We all talked until the bell rang and them headed to our last period. Thank god school was almost done for the day, after school I get to hang with my two best friends. We're gonna 'do our homework' and I can't wait.
Cole's POV
After school me, Shawn, and Blake headed to football practice. We did drills, and talked about the game Friday. After that me and my brothers headed for the car. I got shotgun, as usual and Blake started driving back home.
"So we gonna pick up Suzie?" I asked.
"By the looks of it," Shawn replied.
I loved that candy store that we're going to, it has like the best candy in the history of candies. It's expensive though, and that sucks. But either way we'll have fun. Usually we buy the candy and eat it as we walk around.
Suzie had a great idea for coming, well it was Shawn's idea but he wouldn't have come up with it if Suzie hadn't said anything.
Mom was still at work, she had a case she had to deal with. And of course Bill won't be back for a while.
"So Shawn," Blake said with a devilish smile, "The school's been talking about you having a girlfriend, is it true?"
I grinned and waited to hear his answer.
"I'm taking her on a date. It's not official yet," Shawn replied.
I laughed, "Who is it?"
"Emily Firton," Shawn said.
Emily Firton, she was the latest addition to our school. We still consider her the new girl until a semester passes by, or another person comes in.
"The new girl?" Blake laughed, "I thought you didn't want to be a player."
"I'm not playing her, I actually want to try." Shawn muttered.
I was kind of shocked when Shawn had said he didn't want to be a player. And it got me thinking, maybe he's right. But all in all he seems pretty serious about Emily. Might as well encourage him.
"Well congrats man," I said, "Good luck with her."
"Thanks Cole," He replied.
Blake sighed, "Yeah, ok. Good luck with her."
We drove the rest of the way home, silently. Once we got in our driveway I got out and made my way to the garage. Blake and Shawn were going to stay in the car while I went to get Suzie.
I typed the code into the lock of the garage and it slowly opened. I walked inside and through the door. Suzie was sitting at the counter with a bottle of Nutella and some toast.
"Hi," She said with a nervous smile. She had Nutella all over her face and hands.
I laughed, "Looks like I caught you, Nutella handed."
She cocked her head at me, "That's cheesy Cole."
Yeah it was cheesy, but a guy can try.
"Get cleaned up. We're going to get candy, remember?" I asked.
"Oh yeah!" Suzie shot out of her chair and ran to the hallway bathroom. I heard the sink turn on and as she washed her hands and face, I quickly got a drink of water as I waited for her to finish.
"Ready?" I asked as she came back.
She grabbed the backpack that I had given her and nodded, "Yup."
"Then lets go," I opened the door to the garage and let Suzie walk by first. We walked to the car and she got in the back with Shawn.
"So to the candy store?" Blake asked.
"Where else?" Suzie replied.
"You know maybe we could go to that bathroom store instead, I need new soap." Shawn said.
We all chuckled or laughed. Blake pulled out of the driveway and he started driving. He turned on the radio but they didn't seem to have anything good on.
"Wanna play a game? I'm bored," Suzie said.
I chuckled, "What game?"
"Just try to remember as many motto's as possible," she replied.
"What?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah so we'll go in turns and when your turn comes up you say a motto," she explained, "Watch I'll go first. Reeeddd Robin-"
"Yuuuummm," me and my brothers replied.
We all laughed and now I understood the game.
"Ok I'll go," I said, "Nationwide is on your side."
"Save money. Live better. Walmart," Shawn said.
"Allstate, are you in good hands?" Blake added.
"I'm lovin' it," Suzie said.
"Geico save 15% or more on car insurance," I said.
"Dammit Cole that was my idea," Shawn said.
I chuckled, "We're waiting."
"Uhhh....eat more chicken," Shawn said.
"Shawn that was my next idea!" Suzie shouted.
"Yeah well blame Cole, he took mine so I took yours. Now you take Blake's and we'll all beat up Cole," Shawn told Suzie.
"Me!?" I asked, "Why's it my fault? Why can't we beat you up Shawn?"
"Cause Shawn can't afford to lose the small percentage of brain cells he has left," Blake smirked.
Suzie laughed, "As long as I'm not the one getting beat up. I don't care what you do."
Me and my brother's broke into laughter while Suzie just stared at us, not exactly knowing what happened.
We played Suzie's game until we all ran out of ideas, but luckily we were only two minutes away to our destination. Blake searched around for a parking space until he found one, he parked the car and we all got out.
"When we're done getting the candy, can we stop by Game Stop?" Suzie asked.
"Um...sure," I said.
It still shocked me how much this girl likes videogames and watching movies about robots that kill people. Guess it has to do with growing up with Tori and her dad. I mean, if her mother hadn't passed away she wouldn't be like this. She'd be all girly maybe, but you never know.
"Lucky you," Shawn said, "The candy store is right next to the Game Stop."
Suzie grinned and we walked to get some candy. We reached the entrance and Blake opened the door letting us all in.
The first thing that hit me was the smell. It smelled like cotton candy in here, and you could hear the jelly beans falling into the small plastic bags. Or the sound of the register whenever someone made a purchase. Sugary, that's the name of the store, was a small candy store but like I've said before, it has some of the best candies ever.
There weren't that many people in right now, but then again it's a school night. I grabbed a small plastic bag and started looking around at the varieties of candies. Blake, Shawn, ans Suzie were doing the same. I grabbed some peach hearts, sour gummy sharks, small gummy coke bottles, and some chocolate covered peanuts.
Suzie had a small bag of these long, sour, strips of gummy. She had cherry, coke, and apple flavor. Blake grabbed his regular bag of jelly beans and Shawn got a little of everything.
We all walked to the counter and I payed my bag and Suzie's while Blake and Shawn payed their bags.
"Thanks Cole," Suzie said.
"Yeah Cole," Blake said, "Maybe next time you can treat us too."
I rolled my eyes at him and we all walked outside, eating our candy. We walked in the Game Stop right next door and Suzie started looking around. There was another guy in the store about our age and also the guy behind counter. He seemed our age as well, possibly older, but he worked here cause he had the uniform on.
"I already told you get out of the store," counter guy said.
Blake smirked. The guy wasn't talking to us, he was talking to the jerk looking at games.
"I can stay in the store if I want Jim," Jerk said.
"Charlie I fired you for a reason now get out," Jim, aka the one that worked here, said.
Shawn chuckled but turned around so no one would see him. Now Shawn seemed to be really interested in the PlayStation game called, Fairy Catchers.
Suzie was looking at some games in the more violent section. I started looking around as well.
"Hey!" Suzie yelled, "That's my candy asshole."
I looked up to see the kid known as Charlie holding Suzie's bag of candy. The anger flared up in me, this shit head isn't serious is he. Taking candy away from a little girl. On top of that, she's my little sister.
"That's my candy shit face!" Suzie added.
I was about to advance on Charlie but it shocked me seeing Suzie so furious and cussing out. She was always so calm, peaceful, and happy. Now it's like...BAM! Give me my candy or I'll chew your face off and spit it out in a bonfire.
"Why don't you go cry to your mommy," Charlie said.
Suzie's confident face faltered.
"Charlie give the girl her candy and get the hell out of the store," Jim said.
I turned around to look at Blake and Shawn. They were looking right at me. I twitched my head towards Charlie, signaling for us to move. The three of us moved behind Suzie.
"What the hell do you three want?" Charlie said.
In a swift movement Blake held Charlie by his collar, "Like picking on little girls?"
I bent down so I was at Suzie's level, "You ok?"
"Yeah I'm fine," Suzie muttered with an expressionless face.
That comment about her mom got to her. I could tell by the way she looked up at Charlie. I quickly turned around to look at Jim, he just had a smile on his face like he really seemed to be enjoying this.
"Ok lets see," Shawn said grabbing Charlie's wallet from his back pocket.
"Jim aren't you going to help?" Charlie practically yelled.
Jim nodded, "I think I'll take my break right now and look at the camera footage, I might accidentally hit the erase button. I'll be in the back."
Jim then left through the backdoor. Charlie stared at him and then at us three in horror.
Blake chuckled, "You haven't answered my question."
"Sorry man, I was just pissed. This is the third job I lost in a month, my parents are going to kill me," Charlie said really fast.
"Blake he's got a good hundred bucks here," Shawn said, still looking around his wallet.
Blake smiled and I grinned.
"You carry a lot of money dick," Blake said.
I looked back at Suzie, "So what candies did you want that you couldn't get?"
She finally smiled a little which only caused me to smile more.
"So Charlie," Blake said putting him down and grabbing the back of his neck with one hand, "How about you invite us all to some candy, yeah?"
Shawn grinned and fanned himself with a couple of twenties, "Yeah I think he has enough."
We all walked out, Charlie still being held by Blake.
"Ok I'm sorry," Charlie blabbered on as we entered Sugary, "But that's my personal money I earned that working. If my parents found out I wasted it on candy I'm dead."
"Why don't you go cry to your mommy," Suzie mimicked.
I laughed and high-fived her, "Allriiiight."
Shawn and Blake chuckled.
I started walking around the candy store with Suzie, while Blake and Shawn kept Charlie in between them. I walked over to the section of the candy store where they had boxes of candy, like those small boxes you see at movie theaters.
"Skittles?" I asked holding up a box.
"Yeah," Suzie replied.
"Sour skittles?" I asked again holding a box.
Suzie nodded. We went on like that.
"Mike and Ike?"
"Yes."
"Nerds?"
"Of course."
"Twizzlers?"
"Nah I don't really like them," Suzie replied.
I frowned at the box, "Yeah me either. But mom likes them, so we'll take them."
Me and Suzie piled boxes of candy and bags filled with candy and then went to checkout.
"That'll be 97.89," the woman at the counter said.
Charlie flinched at the price. Shawn handed me the money and I payed.
"Your change is two dollars and eleven cents," she siad handing me the money.
We had so much candy, the lady had to give me a plastic bag to hold them in. We all walked out the store and Blake shoved Charlie's head.
"Next time think twice asshole," Blake said.
Shawn threw his wallet at his feet.
Charlie grabbed his wallet and ran to his car.
"Thanks guys," Suzie said, "But uh...please don't tell dad and Tori I said those bad words."
We all laughed except for her.
"Don't worry about it," Shawn bent down in front of her and Suzie jumped on his back.
I pulled out some lollipops we had bought and handed one to everyone.
"Think Jim will get fired?" Suzie asked sucking on her lollipop.
"Nah," Blake said, "If he erased the footage and doesn't get caught, he should be fine."
After walking a couple minutes we decided to stop and sit outside the Starbucks. We ordered some coffee while Suzie got a vanilla frappacino.
"You really know how to stick up for yourself Suzie," I said, "The way you kept a straight face and didn't back down."
She shrugged, "Tori taught me a few things."
"Tori tends to teach you a lot of things," Shawn said.
Suzie looked down at her drink, "Yeah well. She's more of a really awesome, totally cool mother than a big sister."
I looked up at my brother's and we all looked at each other. Of course Tori was more of a mother, Suzie barely remembers her mother. She was a toddler when her mother passed away.
"Don't ever tell Tori I said that," Suzie said looking up at us, "Promise?"
There was so much seriousness in her voice, and her expression showed business.
"We promise," I said.
She nodded her head once and went back to sipping her drink.
"Hey Suzie," Shawn asked.
"Yeah?"
"What was your mother's name?" He asked.
I never thought of that question. I know what her mother looks like but I never bothered to ask for a name.
"Melody. Melody Linean." Suzie responded.
Melody. Honestly that is a nice name. And to be truthful, it really fit Melody's appearance. At least it did in the picture I had of her.
"That's a nice name," Blake spoke up.
Suzie nodded, "I wish I had a name like mom. I mean people called her Mel, and even that's a nice name. But Suzie? The only thing that you get out of that is Sue. And that just reminds me of a bunch of snooty lawyers suing people."
I chuckled, "You know Lilly is a lawyer."
"I didn't mean to offend," Suzie added, "Even Tori is a nice name."
"Yeah but I don't want to call her Tor-bo," Shawn said.
"Dad told me that when he and mom were thinking for a name for Tori, they wanted Victoria. But they didn't exactly want that name, so they settled for Tori." Suzie said, "Even she has a more interesting birth story. My story was mom wanted to name me Susan, while dad wanted Nikki. So in the end it was Suzie. Werid right."
Huh, interesting background. So Tori comes from Victoria and Suzie comes from Susan and Nikki.
"Well," I said, "At least your not named after a rock."
Everyone chuckled at my joke, Suzie did also but she added a shrug when she was done.
"Wanna hear something ironic?" Shawn blurted out.
"Um...sure," we all muttered.
"That kids name was Charlie? And he took Suzie's candy but then bought her some. I'm not sure about you guys but when I think of Charlie and candy-"
"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!" Suzie shouted cutting Shawn off.
"Oh yeah," I said chuckling.
Shawn high fived Suzie who was grinning like mad.
"I love that movie," Suzie said, "Then again I love any movie with Johnny Depp."
"He's an awesome actor," Blake said nodding his head.
"Isn't it odd though that he loves to wear makeup?" I asked.
"All actors where makeup," Shawn said.
"Yeah but listen to this. He wore a coat of white makeup in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then pirate makeup in Pirates of the Caribbean, also in that vampire movie he played in he had a coat of white makeup, and now in the movie Lone Ranger." I said.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one that's noticed it, but Johnny Depp where's a ton of makeup. I mean more than usual. He usually puts like a whole coat of white on his face. But you know if I were getting paid millions to put a coat of white makeup on my face? Then bring on the makeup.
"I never really thought about it that way," Suzie said.
"Yeah Cole where did you come up with that?" Blake asked.
I just shrugged and drank my coffee, "What time is it?"
"Time for you to get a watch," Shawn said, "I'm hilarious. Ha ha."
I shook my head and Blake pulled out his phone, "We should start heading back."
We all got up and I let Suzie piggyback on me while Shawn carried the bag of candy. We all walked to the car and Blake started it, in a couple minutes we were already driving down the street.
"How much candy do we have?" Suzie asked.
I smirked, "A lot."
"Little Charlie is going to think twice before he pulls a stunt like that again," Shawn said laughing.
Blake started to laugh too, "Looked like he was about to piss himself."
Now it was my turn to laugh. Blake kept driving down the road and just as we were passing the Target, he pulled over.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Give me a second," he stared down at the driving wheel deep in thought and then sighed, "Dammit."
"What?" Shawn asked.
Blake made a U-turn and parked in the parking lot outside of Target.
"I'll be back in sec," he said as he left the car. We all watched him enter the Target and then he was out of sight.
"That was weird," I muttered.
"Yeah it sure was," Suzie unclipped her seat belt and leaned over to turn on the radio, "It's to quiet in here."
She started to flip through channels, song after song. Talking after talking. Advertising after advertising.
"STOP!" Shawn yelled.
Suzie stopped the flipping through radio and we all laughed as we heard the song. We all started to sing along.
"You ain't nothin' but a hound dog," we sang, "Cryin' all the time. You ain't nothin' but a hound dog! Cryin' all the time. Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit and you ain't no friend of mine!"
After the three of us finished singing the verse we all started to laugh.
"What's this station called?" Shawn asked.
I quickly looked and started to laugh harder, "Elvis Presley channel."
"No way! They have a channel just for Elvis?" Suzie asked.
"By the looks of it," I replied.
A whole channel just for one artist? Well Elvis could be an exception, but still. A WHOLE channel? A whole channel to the king of rock n' roll, that overdosed. What's next? A whole channel for Micheal Jackson?
"Blake's coming," Suzie said.
We all looked out the window to see Blake walking back with a Target plastic bag in his hand. He reached the car and sat in the driver's seat, casually placing the plastic bag in the small pocket on his side of the door.
We all stared at him as he back out of the parking lot and started driving back on the road.
"So....," Shawn said breaking the silence, "What did you buy?"
"Stuff," Blake muttered.
"Thanks for the specifics Blake," I said rolling my eyes.
"Please tell us," Suzie said, "Pleeaaassseee..."
Blake looked at Suzie through the rearview mirror, "Guy stuff."
Suzie laughed, "Shaving cream and ravors?"
I chuckled, "Blake?"
"Yeah Blake," Shawn added.
"Guys stuff. Stuff as in to prevent things from happening stuff. Stuff to make sure there's no bun in the oven stuff," Blake said.
Whoops. Now I understand. Way to put it Blake. Shit, that's why he didn't want to say anything with Suzie around. Well this should be an awkward conversation.
"Huh?" Suzie asked, obviously not having a clue.
"Uhhh...you were right Suzie ravors and shaving cream." I said nervously.
Suzie looked at each of us with a confused expression, "But that doesn't make any sen-"
"Hey would you look at that," Shawn blurted out, "It's a Dunkin' Doughnuts! Were you can dunk doughnuts in stuff that you would dunk doughnuts in."
I turned around to face Shawn. What the hell did he just say? He slumped his shoulders, his eye's wide.. He had the 'I had to say something' face written across him.
"I love their strawberry frosted doughnuts," Suzie added.
Me and my brothers all sighed in relief that Suzie dropped the topic. She may be smart, but she still has the mind of a nine year old. I really didn't want to be the one to explain that 'stuff' to her.
The rest of the car ride was pretty quiet, we just all listened to the radio. In no time we reached our house and Blake was pulling up on the driveway. He parked his car and we all walked in. Blake grabbed his Target bag and in a flash he was in the house and already heading upstairs. I rolled my eyes at him. He'll just put those items in his sock drawer like always.
I grabbed the bag of candies and me, Suzie, and Shawn walked into the house.
Tori's POV
I was surfing through the different channels on the t.v. trying to firgure out what to watch. I was seated on the recliner and Lilly was lying down on the sofa. She was preparing dinner but it was in the oven so she was just chilling out with me.
My little homework thing with Mark and Cali turned out just like I expected it to. I only got three math problems done and we ended up going to the basement to play foosball. Then we played around with Conlan who, with no surprise, asked me how Suzie was and why I hadn't bought her along. I had to make up a quick excuse. And then when I knew it was getting late, I biked back home.
So anyways while I was looking for a show that seem interesting, the garage door burst open and Blake ran up to his bedroom. Suzie, Cole, and Shawn all walked in a minute later. Cole was holding a blue plastic bag and Suzie and Shawn walked over sitting on the couch.
"What's in the bag?" I asked.
Cole smirked and grabbed the bag by it's bottom and spilled everything that was in it on the coffee table. It was like a mountain of different candies.
"Cole!" Lilly exclaimed sitting up, "How did you get so much? There's like a hundred dollars worth of candy here!"
"97.89 dollars actually," Shawn said.
"Where did you get the money?" Lilly said then her eyes fell on the bag of twizzlers, "Is that for me?"
Cole chuckled and tossed her the bag, "We got it just for you mom."
Lilly smiled, "I'll eat it after dinner."
She went back to lying down on the sofa. It was like she totally forgot that they wasted a hundred dollars on candy. I shrugged it off and grabbed a box of skittles. I snacked on that while we all watched some show and then dad walked in minutes later.
Dad watched some t.v. with us until the oven beeped and we all got up for dinner. Shawn called Blake downstairs and we all sat around ready to eat dinner.
Dinner went by quickly, everyone was to absorbed in Lilly's lasagna to even talk. And after dinner I headed upstairs to my room to change. I walked in my bathroom and changed into my tank top and shorts. I reached for my toothbrush but I forgot to buy one today so I just rinsed my mouth with mouthwash. I walked back in my room but stopped in my tracks when I looked at my bed.
I could have sworn that wasn't there last time, I thought to myself.
I glanced at my door, but it wasn't opened, it was just like I left it. I slowly moved to my bed where there was a Target plastic bag. I stared at it and finally got the guts to open it. I frowned when I looked inside.
Which of the boys left this on my bed, I thought to myself.
I grabbed the item and pulled it out......a toothbrush.
