Four Months Later

𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐢

It's evening now and I'm picking an outfit for the party that is to be held here at home for reaching my milestone, which is I'd held exhibition of my paintings.

The exhibition was solely for my paintings, I've always wanted that to happen and it did. I can't even express my gratitude towards Suyash bhaiya.

He has helped me through a lot and it defines wouldn't be possible without him.

I did send him a big thank you gift this morning itself. Though I know I'm late as the exhibition was held yesterday, I sent him the gift today morning and the party is now at evening.

But it was all because yesterday I was so overwhelmed that after the big thing I just wanted some time to process everything.

This party was actually Asher's idea as he wanted me to celebrate my achievement. And I liked the idea so, this is it.

I thought I was in my lala land only, and none of it is true but as soon as I snapped out of my stupidity, I bloomed with happiness.

I picked the first dress that caught, that was a white dress with sweetheart neckline and puffy sleeves.

After wearing the dress the neck was a little low and I didn't have much time so I let it be because I'll have my hair in front to cover it. I look cute though.

I admired myself for a but then quickly put on my shoes and thought my outfit is basic but I like it, though I still think any other colour would have been better but it's okay,  not the end of the world.

Now I better get going he must be waiting for me downstairs.

I already know what he's looking like as I did take a sneak peak at him when he was passing by my room which is one of the reason I'm wearing white.

His fit was mainly black so to his contrast I choose white.

While coming down the stairs I heard many voices which means people are already here and I'm late. That too in my own party.

The party is held outdoors so I'll have to go there.

I saw him standing with a glass of some drink in his hand, he looks devilishly gorgeous. I want to kiss him now-

What the hell am I thinking? And why?

I took my steps towards him but,

"Hello my bunny, congratulations on your achievement." Avyan bhai squeezed me in his arms and I too returned it.

"Thank you so much bhai," we released the hug.

"This dumbass really did a good job arranging all this. After all my sister deserves it" patted my head and I cheekily smiled.

We talked for a while then were interrupted by some other people.

All this time I just wanted to be next to him but he didn't even look at me, he did congratulate me but I was expecting him to be her with me.

But then again he has better things to do.

I tried to brush this urgency to go to him but it seemed irresistible.

𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐲𝐚

I saw as she talked to Avyan, she looks ethereal. Nothing can compare. I'll stop here as I've somewhere to be right now, so that I can make this day even more memorable.

I am that people present here can make her feel special, Ekansh, Ishay, Adhrit, Ahil, Avni, Meher, Avyan and the others are the some trusted people of ARTIFO (Suyash's Company), Suyash couldn't be here as he had somewhere to be.

Trusting the people to take care of her, especially Avyan as she has developed a bro-sis relationship.

I have told everyone, as in my friends, about my plan so I'm hoping they don't spoil it.

"Bhai dhyan rakhna mai thodi Der mei aa jaunga" I said to Ekansh,

(Bro take care of her, I'll come in a few)

"Han han ab ja bhi."

(Yes yes now go)

"Han aur sun, kuch batana mat warna tu toh janta hai" I warned.

(Yes and listen, don't tell her anything or else you know)

"Humse zayada koi nahi janta. Aur thoda bharosa bhi kar ke yaar" Adhrit commented.

(Nobody knows better. And trust us a little bro)

"Bhai sahab ab aap Jane ka kya loge" Ishay snickered.

(now what will you take to leave)

"Tera sir" I quickly left saying that to prepare for the best thing to happen today if it doesn't go south.

I hope it doesn't.

Having done all the preparations, u I was quite proud of myself. Now all that's left is for her to approve of it.

I ran outside to give this party an ending.

I saw she was sitting, talking to Avni.

I walked towards her and sat a little close, too close that I'm sure she can hear my heartbeat just like I can hear hers.

"Shall we?" I said and she nodded understanding.

I took her hand walked towards the middle and,

"So guys, I think we should call it a day but before that a few words from the star of the day shall be heard"

"Thank you so much for coming today taking out your time. I'm truly greatful to all of you for being a part of my happiness. Thank you so so much." She gave the biggest smile abd everyone present cheered.

One by one everyone left and now it's just the two of us.

And i know that the first thing I saw is sorry because all this time I was not with her. I regret it but I think what I compromised it for will make up.

He held her hand and cupped her cheek.

"I'm sorry for not being with you" she smiled and said,

"It's okay, though i did feel bad about it." She looked down. I'm a certified asshole now.

"I know. But can you do me a favor?" Raised her face with my palm.

She frowns in confusion.

"Just trust me." With that I carried her, she squealed but I can tell she enjoyed the ride by the smile that displayed on her face.

Soon we reached the place where I'd been wanting to, the rooftop.

I didn't put her down yet, she admired the decorations I did.

"Wow!!!!" She eyes wide and hand on her mouth.

"You did this?" She asked with a big smile.

I nodded and she suddenly cupped my face and pressed her lips on my cheek.

I died.
