I've always been the kind of person who struggles to finish what I start. So, when I began writing this book-with its long chapters and deep dives into character progression-I honestly thought I'd set myself up for failure.

But for every moment of doubt, every sleepless night, and every day I felt frustrated with my own story, there were also days of pure joy. Days when I went to bed beaming, falling in love with my characters all over again, or swooning at a sweet moment I'd written.

While I might look back someday and think of things I could have done differently, I'll always be grateful for this book and for finishing a story that grew into over 100,000 words.

Of course, there's always a fear that my book might not reach as many readers as I'd hoped. But all I truly want is for it to be appreciated-flaws and all. I adore sweet romance, and I hope to continue capturing that in every future book I write.
