12 Years ago - After Ian's Funeral              Why should I live here anymore? The only hint of kindness in my life has vanished. What is there more to withhold me here? As I've said in the hospital, I'm going to punish everyone for their misdeeds. The first one on my list is this family, The Rovans. The only way to show hell to them is when they realise there is no one to carry their family name. They'll be dead when alive. Yes, I'm gonna do it for Ian. After them, fucking Collins. I'm gonna plan a neat sketch for him.I packed my bags from my room and came downstairs. Devil in disguise of parents was on the couch. My Father, Kevin stared at me from top to bottom. I tried to walk out of the living room, ignoring it."Wait!" His bossy strong voice called me.I didn't care to stop and continued to walk."Where are you going?" He asked again."I'm moving out, I don't want Rovan's name anymore. I'm gonna follow my uncle Mike's path. Goodbye"."No!" I heard her voice, "Honey! He crossed his arms.I sighed, "Fine, I'll do anything you've ask to do"."Sure?" Only one thing, I can assure you, she will be safe until she gave birth to my grandchild. We had a good time together laughing, watching movies, cooking together, slept in each other arms while reading a book, mocking at each other. Guessed what happens next on the series we've been watching. We connected like best friends before we turned into lovers.At first, it was a bit tough for him to adjust with his physiotherapist, Stanford. But after a week, they became friends. He took off his professional mask. I heard them laughing and giggling. But this time, I didn't get jealous.Two days ago, he started to walk normally. I have never been happier this much. He started to pick me up from my office."Chris, Stanford told you to not drive"."Relax, Madam. I'm fine" he said while turning the car."I'm serious, Christopher. I think I need to tie your mouth too"."Huh...what?"He stopped the car and took out a black piece of cloth, "Listen, I'm going to tie this around your eyes and for God's sake it's a suprise. So, don't ask that dumb question where we are going".I chuckled, "Okay fine, I won't".He tied it around my eyes, all I could sense was darkness, "Can you see anything?" He asked."Nope, nothing"."Good" he started the engine of the car. We travelled for few minutes, I don't know the exact time, but I can say thirty minutes. My mind gave me a lot of thought about the surprise. Wait a minute! What if he gonna propose to me? Am I ready to accept it? No, nope...I'm not sure. God! No! I don't wanna make him sad. Please it should not be a surprise! It should not be a surprise! I prayed until the car stopped.After a second, he unwrapped the cloth, "Okay, we are here. Open your eyes when I say 3".I nodded. He made me step outside the car and stood behind me and counted, "1...2..."My heart beated fastly."3...now open it".I dropped my jaws in happiness and shock seeing that. Omg! How could this happen? I closed my mouth in shock and looked at him.He kissed my forehead and smirked wrapping his arms around my shoulder, "Remember, when I said there is one more secret? This is the one".Â
