Chapter 146 - 146 Improvement
I Transmigrated as the Antagonists' Mother!
146 Improvement
Frank turned around and saw a middle-aged man with black-rimmed glasses. He skillfully put his hand on the manâs shoulder and led him to his seat. He smiled and said, âUncle, I was just talking about you and youâre already here. My seat is here. Donât worry, this time is better than the previous school.â
The eyes of the bespectacled man lit up at the thought that he might not have to be detained. He felt that happiness had come too suddenly.
After pushing the spectacled man to his seat, Frank continued, âLast time, I was 12 from the bottom of my grade. This time, Iâm 13. Iâve improved by one place.â
The corners of the bespectacled manâs mouth twitched. He reached out to hold his glasses. âIf I remember correctly, Tantorn Public School has a hundred people more than the previous school.â
Frank tutted and said with slight disdain, âBe more flexible. My parents donât know. Just tell them that Iâve improved one place from 12 to 13. I donât need to listen to their useless chatter.â
Vivian heard the conversation between the two and shook her head with a smile.
When Simonâs mother heard her son talking to Vivian, she guessed that it was the parent of her sonâs classmate. Thinking that she should also greet the other partyâs parents, she turned around, and Simon gave a brief introduction.
Simonâs mother was a middle-aged woman with shoulder-length hair. The wrinkles on her face showed that life was not easy. Her wrinkles were a little deep, and her soft eyebrows showed her optimism and peace.
Vivian smiled and nodded at Simonâs mother. She did not feel inferior because of her familyâs financial situation. Instead, she generously exchanged a few words with Vivian, acting neither humble nor arrogant throughout the whole process.
Vivian was a little curious as to why Simon would choose to endure the bullying when he had a mother like her, but Vivian did not ask anything.
The parent-teacher meeting lasted for 40 minutes. Before it started, the form teacher allowed the students to move around freely in the school and return to the classroom in the last ten minutes.
The three of them were sitting under the tree below the teaching building.
It wasnât that Frank didnât want to play, but that Leon insisted on waiting. His eyes were staring straight into the classroom, even though he couldnât see anything from this position.
Frank looked at Leon helplessly. âLeon, youâre really too clingy to your mom. Iâm impressed.â
Simon pursed his lips and snickered when he heard this.
Leon glanced at Frank and didnât refute him, but the two of them felt that he seemed to be a little proud of his evaluation.
A black car had just sped past Tantorn Public School at the school gate and then braked to a sudden stop by the roadside.
Angel almost hit the carâs central control panel because of the emergency brake. She exclaimed and shouted angrily, âSimon, youâre crazy! What are you doing?â
Simon realized that his current actions were inappropriate, so he quickly reached out and hugged Angel. He said nervously, âIâm sorry, baby, are you okay? Let me see if youâve hit anything.â
Simon hugged Angel tightly, coaxing and kissing her as if his heart aching badly.
Angelâs anger finally dissipated. She clutched her chest and pouted at Simon. âI didnât hit myself. You scared me to death!â
Simon stretched out his hand and touched Angelâs head and ears. He said softly, âMy baby, are you feeling better now?â
Simonâs disgusting words didnât give Angel goosebumps. Instead, she felt that Simon was treating her like a child, and she felt very happy.
Angel leaned on Simonâs body and asked curiously, âWhy did you suddenly stop?â
Simon quickly thought of an excuse. âI suddenly remembered that I left the gift I bought for you at home, but itâs a little far to go back now. Iâll get it for you tomorrow.â
Angel didnât say anything when she heard that it was because of her. However, she was still a little worried when she thought about her ex-boyfriendâs betrayal.
She sat up straight and touched Simonâs nose with her finger. âYouâre not lying to me? Not because you saw someone?â
Simonâs back instantly broke out in a layer of cold sweat, but he did not show any signs of discomfort on his face. He looked at Angel with a determined gaze, âOf course not! I canât lie, people will see through my lies.â
Angel didnât see anything wrong with him. Her delicate red lips pouted slightly. âThatâs best. If I find out that youâre having an affair with any woman, Iâll tie you to my side with iron chains. Donât even think about leaving me for the rest of your life.â
Simon laughed and hugged Angel tightly again. He said lovingly, âAlright.â
