Loneliness is destructive.
It is a monster that scratches and bites and leaves scars, marks on the heart.
Those who have been scratched will carry those scars forever, inside themselves, without being able to leave them behind. You will recognize them by their eyes, their voice, their actions.
It will happen that two souls marked by the same wounds will cross paths, and in that moment they will recognize each other.
But does zero plus zero give one? Will those two cancel loneliness by being together?
I have learned that being lonely does not depend on how many people you have around you... it's about the scars.
It's the scars of cuts on the same spots over and over again, of cruel tears shed from gashes in the skin with no one to medicate them.
Take two lonely souls, and they will recognize each other even if they are surrounded by friends.
They will look into each other's eyes and understand what they share.
And there will be no space, time or anything else that can hide them from each other's sight, because not even not-existing erases those scars.
Pitch marks.
Bridges?
I hope so with all myself.
