Marie-Anne's POV
"Hey baby," Dylan greets me as I walk into his kitchen.
"Hey," I say wiping the sleep out of my eyes. I grab my phone and look at the time, it is late. I can't believe I slept for this long, "why didn't you wake me up?"
"You looked really peaceful and cute I didn't want to disturb that, look I even took a pic," he says showing me a picture of me sleeping with my mouth open.
"Are you cooking?" I ask while I sit on the island. Dylan had no stools, so I had to sit on it.
"Yes, are you hungry?"
"Very, what are you cooking?"
"Macaroni and cheese, it's my favorite. I'm sorry, but do you eat that type of food?" He ask referring to the time I didn't eat dinner at his parents because the food looked disgusting.
I nod my head and he goes back to his cooking. I sit there silently and watch him from the back. He had some grey sweatpants on with a shirt that was so tight on him you could see his muscles. I bite down on my bottom lip because of how sexy he looks right now.
"Starring is not good Marie-Anne," he said sarcastically as he got close to me.
"Sorry," I also said sarcastically.
"Why you staring though?" He ask trying to tease me.
"I just think you look really good with that shirt," I say honestly.
"Thanks," he said getting between my legs, "you look really good right now too."
"Thanks, can I ask you a question?"
"That was already a question baby, but what is it?" He jokes while still looking into my plain brown eyes.
"Why do you like me?" That question been going through my mind all day. I mean, he looks good enough to get any girl he wants then why chose me? I haven't brought him anything but pain ever since he met me; he cannot even go to his own house because of me.
"I don't like you Marie-Anne, " he doesn't? wow, that hurts, "I love you," he adds causing me to blush a little.
"Then, why do you?"
"Well, there isn't an answer to that. You can never explain to someone why you love them, but I'll try. It's how you make me feel, the smile you put on my face, and the fact that you make my world trouble free because of you in it. I love that you make me want to wake up each morning," he pauses and I put my head down in order not to look him in the eye.
He touches my chin making me look him in the eyes and I smile at him, "and that smile, that smile drives me crazy," I couldn't help it but blush. I kiss him and he kisses me back. He stops and looks at me in the eye. "Marie-Anne, I don't think that's a good idea," he says because of what happened earlier.
"Dylan, it's fine," I assure him.
"You sure?" I nod my head giving him permission to touch me. He kisses me and I touch his short curls. He pauses leaving both of us out of breath, he places small kisses over my neck causing me to let out a moan.
Someone knocks at the front door and Dylan groans, "it's probably just some random salesman they'll go away if we don't answer," he says continuing to kiss me.
The person knocks again, but only louder this time, "I think you should answer it," I say getting off the island.
I look around the small kitchen and I turn the stove off when I see that his food is about to burn.
"Hey Marie," a soft voice says from behind me. I turn around and see Dylan's little sister, Sarah, still in her school's uniform with Dylan.
"Hey Sarah," I say and she gives me a hug.
"Sarah, does mother know how short your school skirt is?" Dylan says looking at his sister.
"No, I redid it," she says.
"And does mother know you are here?"
"No, I made my driver take me here," she says sounding proud of herself. "And look I get to see Marie-Anne again," she says showing me all her teeth, "I always wanted a sister," she adds.
"Are you gonna answer that?" Dylan ask referring to her ringing phone. She rolls her eyes at Dylan and answers her phone.
"Yes mother, I am at Dylan's house!" She yells, "really mother? You put a GPS on my phone?" She yells again, but sounding angrier. She hands the phone over to Dylan to talk to her mother.
"Hello mother," he said sarcastically, "no I did not force her to come here!" He also yells, "okay, she's on her way," he say sounding frustrated. He hangs up the phone and hands it back to Sarah.
"Go home Sassy, we can video chat later, I promise," he says kissing her forehead and giving her a hug.
"Bye Marie-Anne," she say exiting the apartment. Dylan sighs and sits down on the sofa. Closing his eyes, he put his hands behind his head.
"I'm so sorry," I say sitting next to him.
"Sorry for what?" He ask still with his eyes close.
"About your sister, I know how you love her and now your mom won't even let her come here," I say regretting that I didn't just break up with him.
"It's fine, come here," he says patting his legs for me to sit down. I get up from where I was sitting and he turns me around so I can face him.
"Don't worry about my family, okay?"
"Okay," I say giving him a small smile.
"We'll be fine," he smiles back. He kisses my dry lips, but I don't do anything because I am so worried.
I know he told me not to, but I can't imagine not being able to be near one of my siblings. I would die, he probably feels the same way. And all this is because of me, this stupid relationship.
"Blood is thicker than water," I tell him.
"What is that supposed to mean?" He ask unsure of where I was going with this.
"It means that your family is more important than me, especially your sister. I can't live with the thought that I kept you away from your family--" he cuts me before I could continue.
"But, you are my family Marie-Anne, I can't live without you. And you didn't keep me away from them, if my family doesn't want me no more just because I'm dating the woman I love, the woman that makes me happy, then I don't deserve to be part of that family."
"But,"
"No, buts. I'm happy with you and that's all that matters," he says kissing my hands.
"Okay," I fake smile.
"I love you Marie-Anne," he says stuffing his face on my neck.
Me too Dylan, me too, I tell myself.

Kim's POV
I hang up the phone after yelling at Dylan. I cannot believe that he is trying to turn my daughter against me. Actually it is not even him, it's that girlfriend of his. I need to end her, she has gone way too far.
"So, how much is the job?" The man ask as we walk down the park.
"A thousand," I repeat without looking at him. I do not want to make eye contact with this weirdo. He looks like a freak.
"Lady, what you think this is? I will only do it for five thousand," he says.
"Okay, you got yourself a deal," I say putting on a glove to shake his hand.
"And if the police gets involved whatsoever, I was never there and you don't know me," he adds.
I nod my head and he vanishes somewhere. I turn around and walk to my car. That bitch is going to be sorry that she messed with my family.
