Fate's glimpse
Tangled Fate (1st book of ROYAL ROMANCE )
Meanwhile at Arora Estate
The rhythmic clanging of weights echoed through the sleek, state-of-the-art home gym. Veer Arora, drenched in sweat, executed his final set of bench presses. His broad shoulders and sculpted muscles flexed with every lift, the definition of disciplined strength.
Breathing heavily, he wiped his face with a towel and stood before the mirror. His intense dark eyes gleamed with focus.
After a quick shower, he dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit that hugged his athletic frame. The crisp white shirt and polished shoes completed the look of a man who meant business.
Descending the grand staircase, Veer made his way to the breakfast table, where his parents, Vikram and Aarti Arora, waited. The ambiance was tense despite the luxury surrounding them.
"Good morning," Veer greeted curtly, settling into a chair.
His father, Vikram, barely nodded before diving into business. "Veer, we need to accelerate growth at Arora Enterprises. The market is getting aggressive, and I want us leading it. You have to focus more."
A flicker of irritation crossed Veer's face, but he masked it quickly. His jaw tightened, though inside he bristled at the unsolicited advice.
"I understand, Dad," he said evenly, swallowing his frustration.
Vikram leaned forward with a calculating smile. "I have a plan. Let's discuss it tonight when you get back from the office."
Veer simply nodded, the weight of expectations pressing down like it always did.
His mother, Aarti, spoke softly, concern evident in her tone. "Beta, please focus on your meals too. You barely eat â it's just exercise and those liquid diets."
Veer softened slightly. "I'll try, Mom."
Rising from his seat, he adjusted his cufflinks and strode toward the door.
The gleaming black SUV waited for him outside. As the chauffeur opened the door, Veer slipped into the plush leather seat. The engine roared to life, mirroring the controlled fire within him.
The battlefield awaited, and Veer Arora was always ready to conquer it â no matter the cost.
On the Road: Fate's First Glimpse
The city buzzed with its usual chaos as cars zipped past one another on Jaipur's main avenue. The morning sun gleamed against the polished black exterior of Veer Arora's SUV, creating sharp reflections. He leaned back, his sharp gaze casually observing the world outside through the tinted window.
In the opposite lane, a sleek, elegant car glided past traffic with smooth precision. Inside, Ridhima Rajawat, dressed impeccably in an elegant saree, sat poised and focused, her slender fingers scrolling through reports on her tablet. Her brows furrowed in concentration, oblivious to the world around her.
As their cars approached each other, Veer's eyes flickered toward the vehicle on his left, catching a fleeting glimpse of her profileâsharp features framed by long wavy hair. For a brief moment, time seemed to stretch.
There was something striking about her elegance, a calm yet commanding aura that lingered even in passing.
His curiosity sparked, but the cars crossed paths, moving in opposite directions.
Veer's brows furrowed slightly as he shifted his gaze back forward. The city had countless faces, but that one had etched itself in his mind for reasons he couldn't quite grasp.
Meanwhile, Ridhima remained unaware of the silent attention she'd garnered, immersed in business strategies and market projections.
Their worlds had brushed past each other for the first time â a mere glimpse, but enough to set destiny into motion.
