Azal. (Completed)
We are so desperate to be understood,
We forget to be understanding.
A A H I L -
Aahil was distancing himself from Zayna, it has been one week when zayna had asked him about who is Faaezah to him. From that day he had never initiated a talk with her nor did she.
It was 11:00 at night. Aahil was back from his important work, he was hungry, he went towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator for some food but he saw the fridge was empty.
"Fuck."
He cursed and was about to punch the wall in anger but someone held his hand and stopped him from hurting his hand. He turned back and saw his beautiful wife standing. He looked in her hazel orbs which was unknowingly becoming his favorite thing.
"Hurting yourself is not the solution to everything, Mir."
Zayna said to him looking into his mystic eyes, he got his hand from his hold and took a deep breath before rubbing his forehead. She goes towards the stove and heats the food for both of them. She had not eaten her meal as well, she was waiting for him. He watched her actions silently and washed his hands and moved towards the dining table. She sat down for dinner for both of them. He looked at her in confusion.
"You didn't have your meal?"
He questioned her, raising his eyebrow. She served him the food and nodded in no.
"Why?"
He again questioned her..
"I was waiting for you."
She said looking at him, he sighed.
"You don't have to wait for me ayna, I am used to it."
He said while eating his food. Her heart sinks, what does he have called her? She looked at him in amusement.
"You don't need to tell me Mir, what should I do or not. You just told me not to interfere in your life and I'm not doing it."
She said while serving the food on her plate, he stopped eating and then looked at her realizing how much his words had hurted her.
She was done with her food as well he was. After cleaning the kitchen she went into their room as soon as she entered the room his words left her shocked.
"I'm sorry for my words."
He said looking at her, she looked at him and nodded. He moved to his balcony, he was frustrated about the things happening in his life.

"Where are you haris?"
Haris sighed in relief when he heard Aahil's voice on the phone, he was tense for him.
"Bro I'm coming in half an hour, and i wanted to sa-"
Aahil cut his sentence in the middle..
"Don't be late."
Aahil monotonously said and cutted the call making Haris curse under his breath. He was still mad at Aahil for the argument which happened between them 8 days ago. It was the first time they are talking like this but Aahil's tone doesn't seem like he is talking to Haris.
Blood dripped from his knuckles when he punched the ball, he had hurted the only person who cared for him. So many things were going in his mind and for the first time he had felt like everything was a burden to him.
"Allah, Haris, what are you doing?"
A feminine voice shrieked at him, he turned his head and looked at hers.
"It's nothing, you just go and sleep."
He didn't look in her eyes not wanting to hurt anymore. She rushes to get the first aid box and first aid his wound.
"Did you think I would leave you alone?"
She said applying the ointment. Her tone was gentle; she was scared of his beast side but she also knew he would never hurt her.
"You can leave me alone like Everyone else."
He snapped his head to look at her, her baby green eyes were already looking at her brown orbs. His red puffy eyes made her heart clench.
"Leave me alone in my suffering, Nayab."
He said not looking at her, he will never let anyone show his weak side. Aahil and Asher were different in case. But she was too innocent and she was dragged into this mess because of his unjustifiable decision.
Did he regret it? Honestly he doesn't know. She was the best thing that has happened to him.
"I promise you to never abandon your side, Haris."
She said caressing his cheek, her warmth was soothing him unwillingly. He looked in her eyes which were trying to show whatever she said was true she will never leave his side.
"Whatever this is, I'm with you, always.",

"Zayna?"
Aahil called her name while coming into the room, where he saw her reciting the Quran, his heart skipped at the beat listening to it. Last time he had listened to the Quran recitation when he was around 10 years old.
He often used to see his mother reciting the Quran but she doesn't recite in the way she is reciting. Indeed her bond is very strong with her creator.
Feeling his gaze on her, she quickly closed the quran and kissed it before placing it securely in the almira. She doesn't like to recite it in front of anyone.
"Yes?"
She replied to him before correcting her hijab.
"Can you please make two cups of tea? Haris is coming in sometime."
He said, she nodded at his sentence, she would have never said yes but she had said because his tone was gentle and she could sense he was not ordering her but requesting her.
She moved towards the kitchen and started making tea, she heard the doorbell, Aahil went and opened it, he saw haris standing there. He greeted him with a salam which he replied back.
They both settled on the sofa when she came with the cups of tea, Haris looked at zayna.
"Assalamualaikum."
He greeted her, Zayna smiled at him politely and greeted him back. Zayna was listening to both of them doing their own talks.
"We don't have any option bhai, let's kill this stupid bastard, he is of no use."
Haris said to him casually in which Aahil nodded, Zayna gasped at them.
"You should not kill someone innocent."
Zayna said to both of them, they both snapped their head at her and looked at her in shock before bursting into laughter.
Zayna glared at the two, they both stopped laughing seeing her glare.
"Awwwiee, Aahil bhai I didn't know that your wife is so innocent."
Haris said to Aahil only to receive Zayna's soul piercing glare, he muffled his laughter.
"Shut up and I'm not innocent."
Zayna said to Haris.
"Yeah yeah, you aren't."
Haris said, rolling his eyes, Zayna pouted cutely at Aahil who was just looking at two in amusement. The way zayna and haris were bickering he was feeling like they both are siblings.
"Zayna, you go and sleep, it's too late."
Aahil said to her, she looked at the clock, it was 12, and she had to wake up for Fajr also. She quietly followed his order and went into the room.
Indeed, Allah's plans are better than our dreams.
