CH3
Fantasia Apocalypta
Furi turns her head at the source of the voice. A man, clad in a grey uniform and a warm smile. Standing on the other end of the bridge
âYeah yeah, whatever, Johnâ Mark said, waving lazily
âHe he, I thought Iâll do it differently this timeâ The man named John replied
âRose is hurt, Get a stretcher.â
â1 Stretcher here, now!â John barks, seriously
âPaul, you should go to see Julia too, can you go there by yourself?â âYesâ Paul replied
John, curious, glance at Furi, raising his hand, pointing at her âWhoâs the ladyâ
âWe donât really know either, her name is Furi and we found her randomlyâ Mark replied
âIn the range?â âPreciselyâ
John is taken back, afterall someone surviving alone in the range is..bizzare.
âMiss, youâre coming with meâ he said with a serious look
âFuri, you go with him. Donât do anything stupidâ Mark said
âThank you for the adviceâ
As she steps out from the boat, the boat rattles and the waves slosh against the pier
âFollow meâ John said
Furi obeyed. Her eyes are met with something she canât comprehend
Buildings almost as tall as the walls, Pipes spewing black smoke, gears turns and churn with a metallic clang, People running everywhere, shouting orders, hauling crates and hammering steel. The air smells of ashes and sweat.
They walk for a while in the hustle and bustle
Finally, they arrive. A rusted and heavy metal door, carved into the side of what can be described as a wall of concrete
âIn here, missâ John said standing on the side of the metal door. His hand at the knob opening into the room
Furi took a deep breath and nodded hesitantly
He twists the doorknob and opens the door. Furi steps in
She froze, the room was dark, nothing can be seen, her heart pounding in nervousness.
Suddenly, A click
The room suddenly lit up with a blinding light, Furi shield her eyes
After adjusting, a metal chair is seen in the middle of the room.
âAhem Ahem, go ahead sit downâ A voice is heard
Furi spun, trying to find the source of this new voice.

âI said SIT DOWNâ The voice said angrily
Startled, Furi sits down on the chair
âAlright now, this room is laced with anomaly magic, it WILL hurt you if you lie, understand?â The voice said
âY..Yes understandâ Furi answered, seeing a magic circle above her spin to life with a purple shine
âFirst question, what is your real name?â
âFuriâ âYour surname?â âIâ¦donât...have one?â
Silence fills the room, Thick and heavy
âReally? No surname, Anyway, where did you come from?â
âI donât knowâ
âWhat do you mean you donât knowâ
âI really-â
âWhere were you born?â
âTheâ¦uh⦠Mountains?â
Silence, this time it is long. Her heart race, wondering if she answered wrong. She squirms in her chair uncomfortably under the invisible gaze. The next question dropped like boulders
âWhat is your purpose coming to Caprico?â
A hard one, her mind race thinking of an answer, sweat drops down from her face, hand clenched, then a word
âAdventureâ
The room is silent once more. Furiâs mind wanders Is this what I really want to do? Is this really what I want?
The voice broke up, shattering her trance. Furi looked up only to hear the voice, laughing hysterically
âReally? Adventure in this god forsaken worldâ The voice said wheezing for air. âWhatever, you can leaveâ
Furi stands up from the chair, the mood now, less tense than it was. Slowly walk out of the door, breathing a huge sigh of relief. Walking into the crowd
âOfficer John Sterming, come hereâ The voice announces
John stepped into the room, closing the door behind him.
âYes, General Heliosâ John said, sharply
âKeep an eye on that lady, would you?â
âYes sirâ
âYou may leaveâ
John saluted, turned, and disappeared into the noise of the door
On the other hand
âThat is the report, sirâ Mark said
âA marauder up in Tabor huhâ¦That means there is a big scourge force there, if a marauder is present. What do you think Captain Markâ The short old man uttered, wearing a grey uniform, sitting behind steel desk gazing up at Mark with a menacing look. On the desk the name plate reads âGeneral Marbleâ.
âThat is very likely, sirâ Mark replied
The General nodded âWe will need the countermeasuresâ he said rising to his feet.
âYou can go captain; Iâll report it to the Marshall in the next meetingâ he ordered looking at the view in the window
âExcuse me sirâ Mark said, salute and left
The Generalâs room is filled with silence. âSending the youth to die, we never change huhâ He signs as if he knows what the âcountermeasuresâ will be âMore meat to the grinder, any will do right nowâ he said, sinking down on his chair
âThat lady he mentioned will do, more meat for the grinderâ
Back to Furi
In the crowd, lost, she wanders around expecting someone being somewhere new
People walk, run, and haul things around her. She is reminded
All these people have identity, their own life, their own story. What is my purpose? What is my cause? Why am I Furi? Who created me?
Her hands tremble in the thought, in a trance even. Suddenly a hand grabs her shoulder
âYouâre still here? Missâ John said
âYea..yesâ Furi replied, looking up from her trembling hands
John signs âIâll take you to the others, so youâll have someone to talk toâ âokayâ âFollow meâ
John navigates through the crowd, Furi following close behind him
After a short while they arrive at a wooden door, etch into the steel wall. The sign above said âMedical Squadron, Caprico Defense Divisionâ
Furi took a deep breath and walked through the door. A massive room, with beds dotted around.
âThere she is!â Furi turns to the source of the voice, seeing Rose waving from her bed, with Paul standing beside her with bandages on his head
Furi walk towards them, she looks to the side seeing a patient lying on a bed, his leg twisted, a woman approaches him, suddenly a green magic circle flair and the patient leg twitch to normal
âYour first time seeing healing magic?â Paul said with a suspicious look on his face âYeâ¦Yeahâ âHow did the interrogator led you out?â âUhmâ¦â
âCome on, Paul. You donât have to be that grumpy, she saved usâ Rose uttered âJulia! This is the lady I talked about!â
The woman from before turned her head, âOh hello there miss Furi! Canât really talk to you right nowâ Furi waved back at the woman dawning a green robe.
Furi turns back to Rose
âSo... how are you feeling?â
âBetter than ever, Juliaâs healing magic is top notch!â Rose said complimenting her friend.
Furi breathed a sigh of relief, sat down on a nearby chair, tired and exhausted from all that has happened today
She feels tired, dozy. She closes her eyes and dozes off in a blink.
