CHAPTER 41

Siya's chest heaved with ragged breaths as anger and hurt wrestled within her. Her eyes welled up with tears, but she clenched her jaw, refusing to let them fall.

Reyansh, sensing her turmoil, reached out to grab her hand, but Siya jerked away, her eyes flashing a warning.

Reyansh's face fell, hurt etched on his features. "Why?" Siya asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Reyansh gulped, unsure of how to respond.

Siya's question hung in the air.

Was she asking about the past, about the pain and misunderstandings that had driven them apart?

Or was she asking about the present, about why Reyansh hadn't stopped doing sit-ups even when it was clear he was in pain?

Siya herself didn't know what she was asking, her emotions a jumbled mess of anger, hurt, and confusion.

Reyansh remained silent, his eyes fixed on Siya's face. Earlier, Siya had always understood his silence, knowing that it was his way of processing his emotions.

But now, she wants more. She wanted him to speak up, to explain himself, to apologize, to comfort her.

His silence was no longer reassuring; it was deafening.

Siya's eyes locked onto his, searching for answers, for words, for anything. But Reyansh's lips remained sealed, his silence a heavy burden that weighed on Siya's already shattered heart.

Siya's eyes dropped, and she turned away. If he didn't want to speak up, to clear the air, to explain himself, then she didn't want to hear it either.

The hurt and anger still simmered inside her, but she refused to let them boil over.

Instead, she chose to freeze him out, to give him a taste of his own silence.

The silence that had once been a comfort between them now became suffocating where she couldn't breathe anymore.

Siya turned away from Reyansh, her movements deliberate and calm. She filled a jar with water, then gathered the box of vermillion and turmeric. Without a glance back, she walked out of the house, her bare feet carrying her to the tulsi tree that stood serenely in the front yard.

She poured the water over the plant's roots, whispering a gentle prayer as the liquid soaked into the earth.

The group exhaled collectively, unsure of how to intervene in the tense situation. Sania gestured for them to follow her, and they trailed behind her to the backyard.

“tumne Dekha?”

(Did you see?)

Sania asked, her voice low. Sunansh nodded before answering

“Haa wo susu kar raha hai”

(Yeah, he's peeing)

The group's eyes widened in disbelief as they turned to look at Sunansh. He pointed to a little boy, who was innocently watering the plants with his own "natural acidic water".

Avyansh chuckled and smacked Sunansh on the back of the head. "Can't you think of anything besides that?" he teased, as Sunansh rubbed the spot, pouting.

“isko yahan se bahar pheko”

(Get him out of here)

Sania exclaimed, pushing Sunansh away from their circle.

"We need to do something," Myra said, her brow furrowed with concern.

Sunansh, still trying to rejoin the group, piped up, "Yes, we need to do something. He can't just pee on the plants"

Sania rolled her eyes and clamped her hand over Sunansh's mouth. "Shut up" she hissed.

Myra nodded in agreement. "He's right, though. That little boy can't just pee on the plants."

Sania took a deep breath, struggling to contain her frustration. "I swear, when God was handing out brains, you two must have been busy peeing."

The group's eyes widened at Sania's sarcastic remark.

Myra shot Sania a disgusted look, her nose scrunched up in distaste. "Ew, can't you think about anything else besides pee?" she asked, her voice dripping with annoyance.

Sania's voice was laced with concern. "We need to do something about them."

Myra shrugged, her expression deadpan. "His dick, his pee, what can we do?"

Avyansh chuckled, pulling Myra into a warm hug from behind. "Come here, my tubelight," he whispered, his chin resting on her shoulder.

"We need to focus on Bhai and Bhabhi," Avyansh said, his voice serious.

Myra's voice was firm. "Yes, we have important things to discuss, and this girl wants to talk about pee."

Sunansh nodded in agreement, supporting his best friend.

Sania exhaled deeply, her eyes scanning the surroundings as if searching for something. Sunansh being confused asked. "What are you looking for?"

Sania's gaze snapped back to the duo, her eyes blazing with annoyance. "Your brain!!" she retorted, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she gave Sunansh and Myra a glare.

Avyansh's expression turned thoughtful. "We need to do something for them."

Sunansh's eyes lit up with a mischievous idea. "Let's lock them in a room?"

Myra's voice was barely audible, "Nice idea..."

Sania rolled her eyes before saying "usse kya hoga?"

she tsked.

"Reyansh bhai apna muh fevicol se chipka baithe hai aur Siya bhabhi muh fula ke baithi hai"

Avyansh's eyes scanned the group, seeking a solution. "So, what should we do?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

The group collectively sighed, unsure of how to break the silence between Reyansh and Siya. The air was thick with uncertainty, as they struggled to find a way to get the couple talking again.

Just then, Siya's voice pierced the air, shouting from inside the house. The group quickly rushed back inside.

Siya instructed the group to freshen up. As Avyansh was the first one to fetch the water from the front yard and carry it to the washroom.

After freshening up and getting ready himself, he thoughtfully carried another bucket of water for Myra, carefully placing it in the washroom for her.

Myra neatly laid out her clothes on the chair in the room. After finishing her bath, she emerged from the washroom wrapped in a towel, having already slipped on her inner garments.

Myra held up her bottoms, letting out a frustrated sigh as she realized she had bought the wrong color. She slipped on her light blue shirt and wrapped a towel around her waist.

Cautiously opening the door, she peeked outside and smiled when she spotted Sania. "Sania" Myra called out, and Sania walked over to her.

"Bring beige coloured trousers from my bag?" Myra said and closed the door.

“Hein? Which colour?” Sania mumbled, confused by hearing a new colour.

she sighed and walked to the luggage, unzipping the bag her eyes wandered around the clothes Myra packed in, as if she was shifting forever to the village.

“Konsa colour tha? badge?”

(Which colour was it? badge?)

she took a look at the neatly arranged clothes, but her mind couldn't capture what colour –beige must be?

she sighed scratching her head, just as she was about to give up avyansh tapped her back.

“Need something?” Sania gave the brightest smile to avyansh, as she spoke “ bhabhiji ne koi badge colour ki pant mangvayi hai”

(Myra asked for a badge-d color trouser)

Avyansh nodded, grabbing a beige-colored bottom from the bag and walked to the room with a mischievous smile.

while sania sat there staring at the pile of clothes avyansh scattered while removing just a single piece of cloth.

‘that was cream colour’

Sania mumbles, stuffing the clothes back in the bag and zipping it up.

She then got up and filled  a bucket of water for herself and carried it inside. sunansh who saw her quickly ran towards his wife and flashed a innocent smile.

"Move" Sania huffed, wanting Sunansh to get out of her way. But instead of obliging, Sunansh offered, "Need help?"

Sania's expression softened, and she smiled warmly at him. Sunansh took the bucket from her, and carried it inside and was surprised finding the room locked. He knocked on the door and waited for the response.

Meanwhile,

Avyansh knocked on the door and leaned against the door frame waiting for his wife to open the door.

Myra slightly opened the door and sneaked her hand asking Sania to handover the cloth. Avyansh smirked, instead of handing the cloth he held her hand making myra peek from the door.

“Avy baby?” she whispered, finding him rather than Sania standing in front of the door.

Avyansh sneaks inside the room, closing the door behind them as he smirks, his eyes roaming on every inch of her body.

Myra stood confidently, wearing a blue shirt and white trousers, her hands folded and an eyebrow raised as she gazed at Avyansh.

"I was so blind to resist such beauty for so many years," Avyansh whispered, his face inches from Myra's, his warm breath dancing across her skin. Myra's breathing grew ragged, her heart racing with anticipation.

A smug smile spread across her face as she replied, "Glad you finally understood.”

He chuckled as he trapped her between the rough wall and his arms leaving no room for her.

His  fingers slipped inside Myra's shirt, tracing the curve of her waist. She shivered at his rough  touch, her body responding to his caress. He loved the way she reacted to him, the way her eyes sparkled and her skin flushed.

As he drew closer, their faces inches apart, the air seemed to vibrate with tension. Avyansh's lips met Myra's in a passionate kiss, his fingers gripping her waist tightly. Myra's arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him deeper into the kiss.

As they kissed, Avyansh's fingers dug into her waist, giving her a rough squeeze.

“mmmm~~~”

Myra moaned softly, the sound muffled by their lips. She knew he loved leaving marks on her skin, and she couldn't deny the thrill it gave her. It was their secret, one she was happy to keep.

Avyansh's hands moved to Myra's chest, and he started to unhook her bra. But just as he clicked it open, someone knocked on the door.

Avyansh was too caught up in kissing Myra to bother checking who was at the door. Myra tried to tap on his shoulder to get him to stop, but he held her wrist firmly in place. He pinned her hand above her head and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.

Despite the growing disturbance, Avyansh tried to tune out the knocking. But it only grew louder and more insistent. His frustration mounted; he didn't want to break away from Myra, but the knocking was ruining their intimate moment.

Avyansh finally broke away from Myra's lips with one last, gentle smooch. They both stood there, panting heavily, their chests heaving up and down.

"I love you," Avyansh whispered, his voice husky with emotion. He tenderly tucked a stray strand of hair behind Myra's ear.

Myra's breathing slowed slightly, but her eyes still shone with a passionate glint. Avyansh gave her one final, soft peck on the lips before asking, "Can I open the door now?”

with a final nod from Myra he opened the door and was really annoyed finding the familiar figure outside the door.

“I'll take my revenge” Avyansh mumbled, as he pushed sunansh and walked out of the room closing the door behind.

“Arey, i need to go inside” sunansh said As avyansh hissed and replied “ she is changing ”

Just then Myra opened the door, now wearing her beige pants with the shirt tucked in as Sania made a “ohh” sound giving a teasing smile to Myra.

Sunansh carried the bucket inside the room However, as soon as they reached the bathroom, Sunansh's demeanor changed. He locked the door, pushing Sania outside. "Thanks for the water, darling" he teased, his voice muffled from inside the bathroom.

“Papa ka pare!!! open the fucking door” she screamed harshly knocking on the door.

Sania screamed at Sunansh, but he ignored her, too caught up in his own world. "Tande tande pani se nahana chahiye~~," he sang, pouring cold water over his head.

Sania's anger boiled over, her will wanting to kill sunansh growing with each passing second as she took a few breaths controlling herself.

But then her eyes caught something, smirking. She grabbed his clothes kept on the chair, and leaned against the wall, waiting for him with a sly smirk.

Sunansh emerged from the bathroom, the door creaking open as he stepped out. He was wrapped only in a towel. His wet hair dripped water down his face, neck, abs, the droplets disappearing into the towel.

Sania's smirk faltered, and she gulped, her eyes widening as she took in the sight of Sunansh's nearly naked form.

Time seemed to freeze, and Sania's world narrowed to a single focus: Sunansh.

Her gaze was captivated by his chiseled physique, and she couldn't look away. Everything else faded into the background, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a moment of charged tension.

Sunansh, oblivious to Sania's gaze, continued to whistle a carefree tune as he rubbed his wet hair with his fingers completely absorbed in his own little world.

His eyes soon widened in surprise as he took in Sania's presence, his clothes clutched in her hand. He hastily crossed his arms over his chest, attempting to cover his front body  "What are you doing here?" he asked.

But Sania's gaze remained fixed on his bare torso, her eyes tracing the contours of his body. She seemed oblivious to his question, her attention solely captivated by his naked form.

Sania's whisper sent shivers down Sunansh's spine. "Let's do it, I can't hold it anymore," she breathed, her words dripping with urgency.

Sunansh's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing to comprehend her sudden suggestion. "W-what?" he stuttered, his voice trembling with nervousness.

Sania's gaze locked onto his, her eyes burning with desire. "I need you, Papa ke pare," she whispered, her voice husky with need.

Sania's eyes locked onto Sunansh's as she walked closer, her fingers closing around the chain resting on his chest. With a gentle tug, she pulled him nearer.

The droplets of water on his skin sparkled like diamonds, drawing her gaze to  his body. Sunansh's eyes never left hers, his face inches from hers.

He was looking hot.

Too hot.

Sania's heart skipped a beat as she struggled to maintain her composure.

Without warning, Sania's lips crashed onto Sunansh's, drawing him into a passionate kiss. Caught off guard, Sunansh's hands slowly dropped from his chest, no longer hiding his bare chest.

As he deepened the kiss, his hands found their way to Sania's waist, pulling her closer. His fingers wrapped around her, holding her tight as they lost themselves in the kiss.

Sunansh's fingers tangled in Sania's hair, roughly tilting her head back as he deepened the kiss. But his grip tightened, causing Sania to hiss in pain.

Sunansh's hand slid from her hair to her neck, his fingers wrapping around it firmly. His hold was possessive, his touch leaving marks on her skin. Sania's eyes fluttered closed, her body melting into his.

Avyansh, who had been keeping an eye on the room, smirked as he sensed they had been inside for a while. "Time for some payback," he chuckled to himself, walking towards the room.

He knocked on the door with an evil smile wanting to ruin their moment as well like he did with them.

but there was no response.

Avyansh's smirk widened as he knocked again, this time  rougher.

Still, there was no answer.

Avyansh's eyes gleamed with mischief as he laughed to himself, knocking harshly on the door once more.

Finally, the door swung open, and Sunansh stood before him, with annoyance etched on his face.

“You did this intentionally na?” sunansh asked, buttoning his shirt.

Avyansh with a mischievous glint in his eyes shrugged casually walking beside him.

“Aapko to mai dekh lunga” sunansh whined, stomping his feet on the ground.

“25 saal se mujhe hi dekh raha hai tu” Avyansh answered, casually patting Sunansh's back.

Sunansh rolled his eyes and walked away searching for Siya and Reyansh.

There he saw Myra sitting on the ground doing her makeup and Siya sitting beside her and admiring the work.

“Your skin is so flawless myra” Siya compliments completely awestruck by her beauty.

Reyansh sat there in the corner not knowing what to do like a lost child.

The brothers walked to their brother and sat beside him. Meanwhile Sania walked out of the room with a flushed face, her eyes meeting sunansh for a split second but soon looked away when he threw a playful wink at her.

“sunansh, wipe your hairs orelse you might catch cold” Siya comments with concerned filled eyes and sunansh raked his hands through his damp hairs and there Sania gulped nervously, not able to control her hormones.

But why?

Was she always this horny?

or is he making her feel things?

Whatever it is, she needs to control it.

she needs to.

“Here” Siya passed the towel to Sania asking to wipe his hair.

“Why me? I'm not his servant” Sania muttered, throwing the towel in his direction which he caught effortlessly and wiped his hairs.

“Some people need special invitations to freshen up?” Siya taunted,  her voice loud and firm, for a second Sania thought it was for her but when Reyansh got up from his seat she sighed in relief.

“ohh hello, tumhe bhi invitation chahiye?” Siya pointed her finger at Sania as she gave a cute smile and leaned towards Siya “Mujhe nahana nahi hai”

but Siya scrunched her nose, smacking sania’s arm  and said “ No bahana, Chup chap nahana”

“You sometimes remind me of my mother” Sania mumbles with a pout.

°°°°°°

"Ram Ram," the neighbor uncle said, welcoming the family with a warm smile. He gestured to the neatly arranged chairs, inviting them to sit.

Reyansh joined his hands in a respectful greeting and sat beside Siya. "How are you, Kaka?" Siya asked, addressing the elderly man.

The neighbor uncle smiled and called out to his wife, "Laxmi, bring tea!"

Siya patted her stomach, saying, "I'm hungry. Let's just eat."

Myra, Avyansh, Sania, and Sunansh exchanged surprised glances at the mention of Laxmi's name.

"Aunty's name is really Laxmi?" Myra whispered to Sunansh, who responded with a smug smile which clearly states – I'm sunansh , ye sab meri liye aam baat hai.

Sania rolls her eyes before casually stating “tukka mara hoga”

“Can't you appreciate your husband darling” Sunansh nudged her shoulder, throwing a playful wink at her.

Laxmi brought in a tray of chilled water glasses and served them . After everyone had been served, she sat down beside her husband on the bed.

"I hope the food will be to your liking," Laxmi said with a warm smile, her eyes scanning the group to ensure they were all comfortable.

Siya's stomach growled "Your food always tastes delicious, Kaku. Come on, I'm starving" she exclaimed.

Laxmi chuckled and whispered something to her husband, who nodded briefly and stood up. He laid out a horizontal strip on the floor to sit down for their meal.

Meanwhile, Laxmi busied herself in the kitchen, arranging plates and preparing to serve the food.

Soon, Laxmi carefully carried plates with steaming hot food, while her husband assisted her in setting them down in front of them.

"पुरण पोळी"

Siya gulped, seeing the plate plate filled with authentic maharashtrian food.

गरम गरम पुरण पोळी त्या वर साजूक तुपाची धार सोबत आम रस अणि आमटि, भजी अणि पापड, भात

Siya smirked knowing very well her husband can't digest this food but is she gonna do anything?

no way.

If he wants he can speak up. Otherwise, he'd just have to quietly endure the meal.

The group gazed at the food  with excitement, eager to try the new dish.

"Aam ras and poli, a perfect combination" Siya exclaimed, her eyes shining with anticipation.

The neighbor uncle smiled, pleased with himself. "I hope you'll enjoy the food."

Siya turned to him, saying, "Narayan kaka, no one can resist kaku's aam ras"

Avyansh, who was taking a sip of water, choked on it, his eyes widening in shock. "His name is Narayan?" he exclaimed, stunned.

Sania, Myra, and Sunansh exchanged surprised glances. Sunansh, however, quickly masked his reaction with a smug smile.

"Dekha kitna hushar hai mera dost”   Myra whispered, patting Sunansh on the back.

Avyansh snorted in response, "tukka lag lagaya”

Sania nodded in agreement with Avyansh. "Avy bhai's right."

Just then, Narayan interrupted, noticing the hushed conversation. "Do you all need anything?" he asked, to which the group smiled and shook their heads.

As they began eating, Sania's eyes widened in delight. "This tastes amazing" she exclaimed, savoring the combination of aam ras and puran poli.

Laxmi beamed with pride, relieved to see the group enjoying her cooking. However, her gaze fell upon Reyansh, whose plate remained largely untouched. "You didn't like the taste?" she asked, noticing he'd only taken a small bite of the poli.

Reyansh hesitated, not wanting to offend Laxmi. He gulped and shook his head.

Siya ignored him and devoured her food. sunansh who was sitting beside reyansh quietly took his poli into his plate.

“one more poli kaku “ Siya shouts pointing at Reyansh who gulped down, not wanting to eat the sweet food.

“Don't be shy” Laxmi says serving another poli to reyansh as Siya smirked at his reaction

The group contained their laughter seeing Reyansh's face.

“What does he do for a living?” Narayan asks pouring water into their empty glass

Siya chews her food, not knowing what to answer. should she say they own a business ? or work in a company? but at last she blabbered what came to her mind.

“dukan”

(shop)

“What dukan?”

Siya hesitated, unsure how to answer Laxmi's questions. "He sells perfumes," she said finally.

Laxmi's curiosity piqued "How much does he earn in a month?"

Siya laughed nervously unsure how to say they earn a million in a single day.  "Umm... we can't predict monthly income."

Laxmi turned her attention to Avyansh and Sunansh. "And what about these two?"

Siya pointed at Avyansh. "He sells jewelry." Well, technically he does sell jewelleries.

Laxmi's eyes sparkled. "In the same shop?" Yeah, in the same company.

Siya laughed nervously. "Yeah."

Laxmi leaned in "Gold jewelry?"

Siya hesitated once more. “metal jewellery”

Laxmi's gaze shifted to Sunansh. "And what about him?"

Siya pointed at Myra and Sunansh, who were engaged in a playful argument. "Umm, he works in a hotel... with her."

Laxmi's eyes widened. "Waiter?"

Siya struggled to maintain a straight face. "नाही हॉटेल बनवतात"

(No, they build hotels)

Laxmi's expression changed to surprise. "बांधकाम चे माणस?"

(Oh, they're laborers?).

Siya let out a stifled giggle, nodding her head as she continued eating.

Laxmi whispered, eyeing Sunansh and Myra, "But they seem well off."

Siya hummed, trying to contain her laughter.

Finally, Siya pointed at Sania. "And she works in a hospital.”

“cleaner?”

Siya burst into laughter, unable to contain herself. "Cleaner?" she chuckled, leaning against Reyansh, who felt a rush of happiness at her closeness.

"She's a doctor," Siya managed to say between laughs.

Avyansh smirked, leaning towards sunansh "What's she saying"

Sunansh, trying to interpret the conversation, gulped nervously. After listening for a few seconds, he attempted to translate

“koi case ke bare me baat kar rahi hai. logo ko bandh (tie)  ke kaam pe le ja rahe hai”

“ae ae pheku chand” Sania made a face not believing sunansh.

Sunansh nodded confidently “ trust me”

Myra scoffed,  pointing at Siya, who was still chuckling. "Look, Bhabhi's laughing."

Sunansh, cleared his throat and ignored the looks of the people resuming eating his food “jao yaar khane do Pata nahi kaise kaise logo ke bich rehna padta hai”

Sania, Avyansh, and Myra glared at him as  Sunansh mouthed, "What?"

“Kabhi handsome ladka with a good muscular body dekha nai kya”

“Do you need anything beta?” Laxmi asks sunansh, refilling his aam ras bowl.

“eat beta, you need so much energy for your work” she comments caressing his hairs as sunansh smiled not understanding her words.

“God, what a hardworking woman you are supporting your family” Laxmi turns to Myra, patting her shoulders with pride.

Siya stifled her laughter, not wanting to clear the misunderstanding and liking the drama.

After having their food the group sat on the bed, their stomach filled with good food.

“नवरी बाई उखाणा घ्या”  Laxmi says nudging Siya who knew it was coming  as she cleared her throat glancing at Reyansh but her heart skipped finding him already staring at her.

Ignoring those feelings she clears her throat once again and states glaring at him, voice filled with mockery.

“गरम गरम भाजीबरोबर, नरम नरम पाव,

रेयांश राव आहेत बरे, पण खातात खूपच भाव”

Laxmi and Narayan laughed while the others, not understanding Marathi, looked puzzled.

Myra asked Sunansh, "Why did they laugh?" Sunansh, not wanting to guess, cleared his throat and looked away.

Narayan turned to Reyansh, saying, "Now it's your turn." Reyansh, anticipating this, was prepared.

“ऊस आहे गोड, बर्फ आहे थंड,

सीया समोर माझ्या, सोना पण लोखंड”

Siya was taken aback by Reyansh's heartfelt words.  She bit her lip, trying to hide her smile.

“It's true. our Siya is a gem” Laxmi says.

“ae, bata kya bol rahe hai” Sania nudged sunansh as avyansh joined in teasing.

“Bata bata”

“bache ki Jaan loge kya?” sunansh comments running away from those teasing.

°°°°°°

Myra gazed out at the lush green fields, her eyes wide with excitement. "Wow"

Avyansh whispered "Careful, Myra," as she wandered along the muddy path, oblivious to her surroundings.

Sania swallowed hard, her throat dry "I'm so thirsty. I need something cold to drink."

Siya, overhearing Sania's comment, suggested, "Let's get something to drink." She led the group towards the place where they were extracting  sugarcane juice.

As they walked, Sunansh asked, "Does all of this belong to you, Bhabhi?" Siya nodded, continuing to lead the way.

"Kaka, five glasses of sugarcane juice, please."

The worker, recognizing Siya, greeted her warmly. "Oh, Siya beta, how are you?"

Siya smiled "I'm fine, Kaka. How are you?" They chatted for a few minutes, inquiring about each other's well-being.

The worker handed them each a glass filled with freshly squeezed sugarcane juice. They sat down on the chairs, eager to taste the refreshing drink.

Sania took a sip and exclaimed, "God, this is so delicious"

Siya smiled, nodding in agreement. "Natural always tastes better."

Everyone savored their juice, enjoying the sweet and tangy flavors.

After finishing his glass, Sunansh glanced at Reyansh, hoping for a refill. However, this time, his elder brother didn't have any juice.

Siya noticed Sunansh's gaze and giggled. "You need more?" she asked.

Sunansh nodded enthusiastically, and Siya said with a smile, "Apna hi to hai sab, jitna chahe lelo" (It's all yours, take as much as you want).

Sania, overhearing Siya's offer, quickly ran to the worker and handed over her glass for a refill. To her surprise, the worker filled a large container with juice and handed it to her.

"But why are they extracting sugarcane juice and filling those big containers?" Myra asks.

"To make jaggery." Siya replies.

Myra's eyes widened in surprise. "They make jaggery with sugarcane juice?"

“You can't be this dumb Myra” Sania comments while drinking her second glass of juice.

“She is” Sunansh whispers, earning a smack from myra.

Siya chuckled, lost in thought. "In my childhood, I used to live on sugarcane juice during this time."

Sania nodded, savoring her third glass of fresh juice, while Sunansh enjoyed his fourth. Avyansh turned to Siya, saying, "You must have had an amazing childhood, Bhabhi."

Siya smiled, her eyes sparkling. "Absolutely."

“bahut kha liya yaar”

(I ate too much)

Myra says as the group nodded at her remark.

Myra turned to Avyansh, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Avy, baby, let's take a walk."

Avyansh nodded, smiling, and got up from his seat. He gently took Myra's hand, and they strolled into the lush green fields.

As they walked hand in hand, Myra gazed around, taking in the serene beauty. "I feel like living here forever," she sighed.

Avyansh chuckled "Then let's live here," he teased.

Myra laughed, playfully smacking his arm. "You're ridiculous," she said, shaking her head.

As the sun beat down on them, Myra suggested, "It's so hot, let's sit there." She pointed to a big stone under a nearby tree.

Avyansh nodded, leading the way. As they settled onto the stones, Myra snuggled closer to Avyansh, leaning her head onto his shoulder. She wrapped her arms around his, holding him tightly.

A comfortable silence enveloped them, filling the air with warmth and understanding. The only sound was the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze and their breathing.

Myra broke the silence, her voice soft and reassuring. "Everything will be alright, Avy baby."

Avyansh whispered, his voice laced with vulnerability, "I hope, Myra." He intertwined their fingers, seeking comfort in her touch.

Myra's voice was gentle as she asked, "Can I ask something?"

Avyansh hummed, his fingers dancing with hers. "Mmm-hmm."

"You love Reyansh bhai so much, na?" she said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Avyansh chuckled, as his response was instant. "More than myself."

Myra chuckled and asked further  "And Sunansh?"

Avyansh's expression softened, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"Wo to mera pyara sa bandar hai"

(He's my dear little monkey).

"And me?"

Avyansh's gaze intensified, his voice low and husky. "You are like oxygen to me, Myra."

Myra's heart skipped a beat as her cheeks flushed as she whispered, "I never knew Avyansh Bhanushali could flirt."

Avyansh chuckled, his eyes crinkling, and pulled her closer, hugging her sideways. "For you, I can do anything," he replied, his voice filled with affection.

Myra's gaze met Avyansh's, her voice hesitant. "Then can I ask you one more question?"

Avyansh nodded, his expression encouraging. "Anything, Myra."

Myra's voice barely above a whisper, she asked, "Why don't you want a child now?" Her eyes , seeking reassurance.

She had noticed that every time they made love, Avyansh always used protection, and she couldn't help but wonder if he was hesitant to start a family with her.

Avyansh's fingers tightened around Myra's hands, his expression tense. He sighed heavily, his eyes locking onto hers. "Do you trust me?" he asked softly.

Myra nodded immediately, her gaze unwavering.

Avyansh gulped, his throat constricting. He struggled to find the right words, but began, "I want to start our family after Bhai starts his."

Myra's eyebrows furrowed, confusion etched on her face.

Avyansh's voice dropped to a whisper. "I may sound selfish, Myra, but because of me, Bhai lost so much in his life... and I don't want our child to be older and take the rightful place of his child as the heir of BV Groups."

Avyansh's eyes pleaded for understanding, his words revealing a deep-seated sense of responsibility for Reyansh.

Myra's fingers playfully pinched Avyansh's cheeks. "My Avy baby is so dumb," she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Avyansh's face scrunched up, but a smile tugged at his lips.

Myra's expression softened, her voice filled with understanding. "I can understand you, but I know our kids will never fight over property."

Avyansh let out a sigh, relieved that Myra grasped his concerns.

"We never know the future, Myra," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty.

Myra's smile faltered for a moment, but she leaned in, her lips brushing against Avyansh's ear. "We'll face it together, then.”

“aur waise bhi, Reyansh bhai ek ankh dikha de bacho ko wo wahi susu kar lenge”

(If Reyansh bhai just glance at them they are gonna pee in their pants)

Avyansh let out a hearty laugh as she admired him with warmth filled eyes silently praying to god to never snatch this smile away from his face.

“I love you” she whispered, gently caressing his cheek as she placed a small peck on his forehead, a silent reassurance saying – I'm always by your side, avy  baby.

“I love you more”

"What if I kill you and bury you here?" Sania asks as they stroll in the fields giving some alone space to the older couple.

Sunansh chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Why would you kill your handsome husband with a good muscular body?" He teased, flexing his arms.

Sania huffed, nudging his stomach with her elbow.

"You know, Papa ke pare, I'm not able to control my feelings nowadays," she admitted, her voice tinged with honesty.

Sunansh's expression turned casual, his eyes fixed on the ground as he kicked stones out of his way. "What feelings?" he asked, his tone nonchalant.

“The feeling of getting ruined by you."

Sania's response was straightforward, her words dripping with sass.

Sunansh's eyes widened, and he choked on his saliva, clearly caught off guard by her boldness.

Sunansh's eyes still wide with surprise, he managed to calm himself down. "Kitni besharam ho yaar tum," he commented, shaking his head in amusement.

"Haan, mai hu besharam. Kya kar loge?" she admitted shamelessly showing her tongue.

Sunansh chuckled, holding up his hands in mock surrender. "Main gareeb kar hi kya sakta hu. Chup chap tumhe seh lunga,"

"Topic change mat kar, Papa ke pare. Do something about my hormones," she said in a serious voice.

Sunansh's eyes sparkled with playfulness as he asked, "You want to do it here?"

But to his surprise, Sania nodded "Yes, I have this fantasy of doing it in the fresh air, between trees."

Sunansh's feet rooted to the spot, his gaze locking onto Sania's. His eyes burned with lust and desire, the air around them charged with tension. The trees, the fields, everything faded into the background as he stood there, his heart pounding with anticipation.

Sunansh's voice was low and husky, his eyes burning with desire.

"Don't tempt me, Sania, I can't stop myself," he warned, gulping down nervously.

Sania's gaze never wavered, her response laced with the same intensity. "What's stopping you? Mai to kabse hu ready tayyar"

(I've been ready for a long time).

"You're still young," he commented, his tone gentle as he resumed walking through the fields.

"Haan, jaise tum 40 saal ke budhe ho"

(Yes, like you're a 40-year-old old man).

Sania scoffs, her words dripping with sarcasm as sunansh laughed at her comment.

°°°°°°

"hmph" siya's voice echoed through the fields as she strolled ahead, Reyansh following closely behind chuckling at her adorable expression.

But Siya's irritation grew with each step. She stomped her foot, her anger building. Finally, she spun around, her eyes blazing with fury as she faced Reyansh.

"I need a divorce,” Reyansh's smile faltered, his eyes widening in shock as Siya's words hung in the air.

The fields, once filled with the sweet sounds of nature, fell silent. Reyansh's face paled, his eyes frozen on Siya's determined expression.

Siya's voice trembled as she announced, "I want a divorce from you, Reyansh." Tears brimmed in her eyes, threatening to spill over.

"Siya"

"What please, Reyansh? Since the moment you came here, I was expecting you to explain things, but no! You were silent." Siya's gaze flashed with pain and accusation.

Her voice broke as she sobbed, "I was waiting for you, Reyansh, just like I did for years, but you never came. And when you finally did, all I got from you was silence."

Reyansh's eyes tormented, he bit his lips, unable to bear the sight of Siya's tears. He hated every ounce of her pain, every shred of her sorrow.

Reyansh's heart sank, his emotions raw. He hated seeing Siya in tears, and hated the pain he'd caused her. But what struck him deepest was the way she'd called him "Reyansh", not "Ansh", the nickname that had always been reserved between them.

Reyansh's eyes locked onto Siya's, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm afraid, Siya." He grasped her hands, seeking comfort. "I'm afraid to remember that past."

Siya's gaze searched his face, her voice tinged with hurt. "Don't you trust me, Reyansh?"

Reyansh nodded, taking a deep breath before revealing the secrets he'd kept hidden for so long. The words spilled out, a mixture of pain and regret.

Siya's eyes widened as the truth dawned on her. Her legs buckled, and they sat together under the shade of a mango tree.

Each word cut through her like a knife, reminding her of the harsh words she'd spoken in anger.

Guilt washed over her, threatening to drown her. She felt ashamed of the pain she'd inflicted on Reyansh, and her heart ached for the suffering he'd endured in silence.

Reyansh's voice cracked as he whispered, "I'm sorry, Siya... I'm sorry for not trusting you." A lone tear escaped his eye, rolling down his cheek.

Siya's heart shattered at the sight of Reyansh's tears. She wrapped her arms around him, holding him close as she cried alongside him. She wanted to absorb his pain, to take away the hurt she'd caused.

"I'm sorry, Ansh... I'm sorry for saying all those things to you," Siya sobbed, her words muffled against his chest.

Siya's tears flowed uncontrollably , "You endured all that pain alone for so many years... My Avy must be blaming himself... Sunansh was just a child... Oh God, I'm such a terrible person."

Reyansh's hands gently patted her back, offering comfort as he whispered soothing words, trying to calm the storm of guilt and regret raging within her.

Siya's gaze locked onto Reyansh, her eyes searching for answers. "I understand you were depressed, but why didn't you come to me after months? A year? Two years? Three years? Why?" she pressed.

Reyansh's shoulders sagged, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know... Maybe I was afraid that if I came back, you'd have moved on."

Siya's expression transformed, her eyes flashing with anger. She landed a harsh slap on Reyansh's cheek, leaving him stunned.

"बिनडोक गाडव, शेण खा कुत्र्या मेल्या! आख्खा आयुष्य तुझी वाट बघितले अणि तू.....काडी ची अक्कल नाही तुझात. जसा पण आहेस माझा आहेस"

(You idiot, you're so foolish! I waited my entire life for you, and you...you don't even have a fraction of sense. but , you're mine).

She wrapped her arms around Reyansh, holding him tightly. "I'm not letting you go anywhere now," she whispered, her breath warm against his skin.

Siya's voice was filled with a sense of satisfaction as she whispered, "It feels nice to curse in our mother tongue," her arms still wrapped tightly around Reyansh, holding him close.

Reyansh's eyes softened, his smile tender, as he whispered, "It feels like home, hearing 'Ansh' from your lips again." His voice trembled with emotion, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude as he placed his lips on her forehead.

Siya's eyes sparkled with mischief as she declared, "But you still need punishment." Reyansh nodded, "Whatever you say," he agreed.

"I want you to be more expressive," Siya said, her voice firm. "Use that mouth God gave you."

Reyansh nodded, but Siya glared at him until he hastily added, "Okay."

In a sudden change of tone, Siya said, "I need divorce," her fingers playing with the buttons on Reyansh's shirt as she lay in his arms.

Reyansh's eyes locked onto hers, searching for any sign of seriousness. But Siya's puffed cheeks told him she was joking. He let out a sigh of relief. "Okay," he said, thinking she was teasing.

But Siya's expression turned stern. She stopped playing with the buttons and sat up straight. "You're okay with divorcing me?" she asked, her eyes wide with surprise.

Reyansh's eyes widened in horror as he realized his mistake. He shook his head, mentally scolding himself. "I'm sorry, Siya," he apologized, trying to grab her hand.

But Siya yanked it away, getting up from the ground. "Okay, then. I don't even want a boring husband," she announced, turning her back on him.

Siya's stride halted when she felt a gentle tug on her saree pallu. She turned back to find it caught in Reyansh's watch. The moment was nothing short of magical – under the shade of a tree, surrounded by lush green fields and open sky.

Reyansh cleared his throat, carefully freeing the pallu from his watch. With a sly smile, he gently yanked the pallu, pulling Siya into his arms. She tried to wriggle free, but he held her close, humming a familiar tune.

"काहे ख़फ़ा ऐसे, चुलबुल से बुलबुल?

काहे ना तू माने बतियाँ, हाय?~~~”

he sang, his voice low and husky, leaving Siya stunned. She bit her lip, struggling to contain her smile.

“काहे पड़ा पीछे? जाने दे, बैरी

मैं जानूँ क्या तोहरी घटियाँ, हाय~~~”

Siya's voice blended with Reyansh as she sang the next lines. She tried to break free, walking away, but Reyansh caught her wrist, pulling her back into his arms.

“ज़िंदगी अपनी हम तोहका दान दई दें

मुस्कुरा के जो माँगे, प्राण दई दें~~~”

His eyes shone with love and warmth, melting Siya's heart.

Siya's gaze locked onto Reyansh's grey eyes, which always melted her heart. She sang the next lines, her voice barely above a whisper,

“हाय, दग़ाबाज़ रे, हाय, दग़ाबाज़ रे

तोहरे नैना बड़े दग़ाबाज़ रे~~~”

She leaned in closer, their lips almost touching.

But just as they were about to share a tender moment, a loud, teasing voice echoed through the field,

“हाय, दग़ाबाज़ रे, हाय, दग़ाबाज़ रे

तोहरे नैना बड़े दग़ाबाज़ रे~~~”

Myra, Sania, and Sunansh appeared, singing in unison, their faces alight with mischievous grins.

Siya's face turned bright red as she hid in Reyansh's arms, overwhelmed with embarrassment. The group continued to sing, their voices filled with laughter and teasing,

“डरता जहां हमसे, हम तोसे डरते

इ सब जाने मोरी रानिय हाय~~”

“bhabhi-ji Sharma gayi” sunansh teases tickling Siya's arm as she slowly peeks from Reyansh's arm and smacks sunansh.

“bhabhi-ji Marti bada tez hai” he comments, rubbing his arm where he just got hit as Reyansh internally nodded knowing the impact of her slaps.

Siya removes herself from his arms and twists sunansh ears saying “maar padegi” showing her palm.

“sorry bhabhi” Sunansh apologised showing his cute antics as Siya's eyes welled up with tears as she gazed at Sunansh. She opened her arms, and Sunansh walked into her warm embrace.

Sunansh's playful demeanor softened as he hugged Siya back. But as he felt a few tears soak into his shirt, he looked up at Reyansh for reassurance as Reyansh's gentle nod said  she had finally learned the truth about their past.

"Your Bhabhi always loves you, Sunansh," she whispered, breaking the hug.

“I know “ sunansh replies trying hard to sound casual.

Siya's eyes sparkled with amusement as she approached Avyansh, who was avoiding her gaze.

She chuckled at his behavior and gently smacked his shoulder, pulling him into a warm hug. "God, you've grown so much taller! You were just a tiny thing back then," she exclaimed, her voice filled with nostalgia.

Avyansh's reserve melted away as Siya hugged him tightly. "My Avy is the strongest," she whispered, patting his back, her words filled with pride and affection.

The group joined in, wrapping their arms around each other, completing the Bhanushali household in a warm, loving embrace. The air was filled with the sound of happy sighs, and the warmth of their reunion.

As they stood wrapped in each other's arms, the sound of a bell pierced the air, followed by the cheerful call of "Barf ka Gola, Barf ka Gola"

Siya's face broke into a wide smile as she spotted the vendor, a familiar face from her childhood. "Siya beta, how are you?" the vendor, Kaka, exclaimed.

Siya laughed, surprised by the unexpected reunion. "I'm fine, Kaka, how are you?" she replied, as they chatted for a few minutes, catching up on old times.

Finally, Siya turned to the others and said, "Kaka, one Barf ka Gola for everyone" The group cheered, and Kaka beamed, happy to serve his beloved Siya and her family.

“mix of each flavour” sunansh said his preference as the man added every flavoured liquid to the ice.

“I need yellow,”

“red”

“black”

“green”

The group said their preference and Kaka prepared according to it.

The vendor departed with a warm smile, insisting that the treat was on him for his beloved Siya.

The group savored their complimentary Barf ka Golas, devouring the sweet, icy flavors.

As they sat under the mango tree, Myra voiced her concern, "Avy baby, my dress will get dirty if I sit on the ground." She sucked on her ice stick, awaiting a solution.

Avyansh thought for a moment before his face lit up with a clever idea. He pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and spread it on the ground. "Now your dress won't get dirty," he said, offering Myra a sweett smile.

Siya's eyes warmed with affection as she witnessed the tender moment between Avyansh and Myra.

Sania turned to Sunansh, batting her eyelashes. "Meri bhi dress gandi hogi," she said, trying to appear cute.

“Haan yaar, meri bhi” he said, gazing at her but then his eyes lit up with an idea.

“ Ye tumhari chunni niche bicha do,"  Sunansh suggested, pointing at her scarf she hung around her neck.

Sania scoffed, rolling her eyes, and sat down on the ground with a huff.

“unromantic asshole” she muttered under her breath.

As they finished their Barf ka Golas, the group settled under the mango tree, surrounded by the soothing rustle of leaves and the warmth of each other's company.

The weight of the earlier conflict between Reyansh and Siya had lifted, and the group felt a collective sense of relief wash over them.

Sania pointed upwards, her eyes shining with curiosity. "Bhabhi, you must have tasted this mango, na?" she asked.

Siya's giggles filled the air. "Tasted? Sania, I planted this tree" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with nostalgia.

Myra's voice was filled with wonder. "Wow, Bhabhi" she said, not for the first time that day.

Reyansh watched Siya with amusement, delighted to see her so connected to nature. He was pleased to learn more about her childhood, which was a stark contrast to his own. Siya's happy memories brought a smile to his face.

Siya's eyes twinkled as she said, "This mango tastes sweet even when you eat it raw." She jumped slightly, trying to pluck a mango from the tree, but it remained just out of reach.

Avyansh chuckled, giving Sunansh a playful nudge. "Bhabhi, itni mehnat kyun karni hai? Hamare pass bandar hai na?"

(Why work so hard, Bhabhi? We have a monkey, right?)

He teasingly ordered Sunansh, "Ja, Bhabhi ko aam tod ke de"

(Go, pluck a mango for Bhabhi!)

"Main bandar thodhi hu?"

(Am I a monkey or something?)

Sunansh answers rolling his eyes as myra asks

"To kya hai?"

(Then who are you? )

"Papa ka para"

Sania's quick reply made the entire group erupt into laughter.

Reyansh, noticing Siya's struggle, sprang into action. With a subtle jump, he grasped the nearest branch and gently pulled it down, causing the other branches to bend in Siya's direction. The mangoes were now within her easy reach.

Siya's heart skipped a beat as she met Reyansh's gaze. His thoughtful, silent gesture spoke volumes about his care which always made her feel deeper for him, for her ansh.

As the sun began to set, the family made their way back home, tired but content after a day of exploring the fields.

After freshening up, they gathered in the backyard, settling onto a cozy cot. Siya poured steaming cups of tea for everyone, and they sat together, savoring the warmth of the evening sky.

As they sipped their tea, Siya said "Let's go back tomorrow."

Sunansh's face fell, and he protested, "Itni jaldi?" He wasn't ready to leave the peaceful surroundings just yet.

“Haa bhabhi, it's too soon” Myra comments leaning onto Avyansh.

“Guys, you just hastily followed me here without any preparation. you have a business to deal with” Siya said strictly not leaving any room for argument.

a series of ‘okay’ was heard and this time Reyansh didn't nod but answered verbally.

“What should I prepare for dinner?” Siya asks as the group shrugged okay with whatever she prepares and she decided to make zunka and bhakar.

°°°°°°

Sunansh recapped their plans, "So, we'll check out the fair in the afternoon, catch the bus in the evening, and then fly back to Delhi?" He asked, savoring the flavors of the meal as they sat together in the backyard, just like the previous day.

Myra's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Wow, I've never been to a village fair," she exclaimed. A chorus of "me too" followed, with each person sharing their enthusiasm.

Siya chuckled, breaking an onion under her fist and popping a piece into her mouth. "You guys have lived such boring lives," she teased.

"Mere to koi friends bhi nahi the."

(I didn't have any friends either.)

Sania spoke with her mouth full of delicious food.

“same” Reyansh tried to join the conversation.

Sania's chewing paused, and she stared at Reyansh, her eyes locked on his. The others followed suit, exchanging disbelieving glances.

However, they soon shrugged it off, resuming their meal. They thought they must have misheard as Reyansh participating in a conversation ? It seemed impossible.

Avyansh savored the mango, exclaiming, "This mango really tastes sweet!" Siya smiled smugly, saying, "Told you"

"I planted that tree, so of course, it would taste sweet," Siya added, her eyes twinkling with pride.

Myra playfully chimed in, "Thank God Sania or Reyansh Bhai didn't plant that tree, otherwise, it would taste sour" Sunansh burst into laughter, giving Myra a high-five.

The best friend duo continued to giggle until they heard a clearing of the throat.

Instantly, they stopped laughing and sat up straight, composing themselves. Sunansh's tone turned serious, "Bhabhi, sabzi dena"

(Bhabhi, pass the curry).

His expression was straight-faced, as if the laughter from moments before had never happened.

khauf babu bhaiya khauf.

After dinner, the family decided to sleep under the serene moonlight. Sania and Myra snuggled up on the cot, while Siya and the brothers opted for the mattress spread out on the ground.

The family slept peacefully, their worries left behind, under the starry sky.

The moon cast its gentle glow, watching over them as they rested, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

°°°°°°

As the morning sun rose above the horizon, the family stirred awake. After completing their morning routines, they gathered around to enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by Siya.

The ladies, Siya, Sania, and Myra, decided to wear traditional dresses, adorned with vibrant colors and intricate patterns.

In contrast, the men, Reyansh, Avyansh, and Sunansh, opted for casual wear, as they hadn't packed any traditional outfits for the trip.

As they arrived at the fair, the group felt excited. Myra said, "Wow" and looked around at all the new things. Avyansh held her hand so she wouldn't get lost.

Siya said, "Let's look at the shops first." Sania and Myra were very excited to shop at the fair for the first time.

They walked towards the colorful stalls, eager to find some special things to buy.

They stopped at a stall selling hair accessories. Myra's eyes landed on a pretty pearl-shaped clip. She picked it up, examined it, and then showed it to Avyansh.

"How's it, Avy baby?" she asked, clipping it onto her hair.

Avyansh smiled. "It looks beautiful on you."

Myra turned to the vendor. "How much?" she asked.

The vendor replied, "10 rupees."

Myra's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Just 10 rupees?" she asked, hardly believing her ears. She couldn't believe she could buy such a beautiful clip at such a low price.

Myra was thrilled. She was used to buying things at malls, spending thousands, lakhs, or even crores.

But getting this beautiful clip for just 10 rupees was making her incredibly happy. Her face lit up with a bright smile, showing her excitement.

Avyansh chuckled at his wife's infectious excitement over the small clip. He handed the vendor 500 rupees, buying the clip for her.

Gently, he clipped it into her hair, making her smile like a delighted child. She eagerly showed off the clip to everyone.

Avyansh's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "You look pretty when you smile," he said, playfully tugging on her cheeks.

Myra's smile deepened. "Glad you noticed," she replied, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

Siya browsed through a collection of bangles, while Reyansh stood beside her, gazing at her. "Ansh, which one?" she asked, holding up two sets.

Reyansh examined them carefully but couldn't spot any significant difference. "Aren't they both the same?" he asked hesitantly.

Siya chuckled. "Oh, honey, same-same, but different" She said, urging him to choose between the two.

Reyansh pointed to the red-colored set with smaller patterns. "This one," he said.

"I liked that one too," Siya said, returning the other set to the vendor.

As she tried to put on the bangles, Reyansh gently intervened, taking the bangles from her. He carefully slid them onto her wrists, his fingers brushing against her skin.

Siya smiled at the tender gesture, touched by his thoughtfulness. Reyansh's hands moved with precision, as if afraid that a wrong move might hurt her.

Siya smiled brightly when Reyansh finished putting on the bangles. "How do I look?" she asked, clinking the bangles together and holding out her wrists for his inspection.

Reyansh's face lit up with a warm smile, his holes on cheeks – as Siya calls them,   making an appearance. "You are beautiful," he said, his eyes locked on hers, filled with adoration.

Sania smiled as she watched Siya and Reyansh's tender moment. She turned to her husband, Sunansh, expecting a similar romantic gesture. "Sunn, this one or this one?" she asked, holding up two packets of bindi.

Sunansh turned to her, glancing at the bindi packets. "Why do you need it? You don't even wear it anyway," he said nonchalantly.

Sania's smile faltered, and she gritted her teeth. "Just tell me," she insisted.

Sunansh hesitated for a moment before picking up the largest red bindi packet. "This one," he said with a chuckle. "You'll look like Manjulika," he teased letting out a small laugh.

“unromantic asshole” she muttered under her breath feeling frustrated by his behavior.

They strolled through every stall, shopping and eatinh the delicious food . They also tried their luck at various games, laughing and cheering each other on.

As the scorching sun began to take its toll, the group stood under a shaded area. Sunansh suggested, "Let's eat ice cream" Sania, too exhausted to move, replied, "Go and bring ice cream."

Sunansh chuckled and said, "I can't carry six ice creams alone, come with me." But Sania refused, saying "Myra, go with your bestie."

Myra and Sunansh walked to the ice cream stall, where Sunansh ordered, "One scoop of every flavor, one vanilla, and five chocolate ice creams, please."

As they waited, Myra leaned against Sunansh, holding his biceps for support. "I'm tired," she said.

The ice cream seller, a friendly woman, smiled and said, "You two make a cute couple."

Myra and Sunansh quickly corrected her in unison   "He's not my husband"

"She's not my wife"

"Mera pati isse zyada hot hai" Myra says giving side eyes to sunansh.

"tum dekhogi na jal ke rakh ho jaogi" Myra continues her avy-puran.

"aur meri wali na tumhe jala degi" sunansh adds as the girl rolls her eyes before saying.

"get lost , isse Pehle mai tumhe jala du"

the duo ran from there confused not knowing why they were kicked out.

Myra and Sunansh went  to another stall, purchasing the ice cream without saying a word. This time, they kept their mouths shut.

When they returned, Sania snatched the ice cream from Sunansh's hands, asking, "Why so late?" Without waiting for an answer, she tore open the packet and began devouring the ice cream.

After they finished their ice cream, the group decided to call off the day and head back home.

As they walked, Siya handed her veil to Reyansh, struggling to carry it. Reyansh took it and hung it around his neck, making her smile. Myra's veil was already wrapped around Avyansh's wrist.

Sania passed her veil to Sunansh, curious to see his reaction. "Take this," she said, handing him the cloth.

Sunansh sighed in relief, smiling at Sania. "Thanks, yaar," he said, putting the veil above his head as a makeshift shield from the sun.

Sania huffed, smacking his head. "Kya hua?" Sunansh winced, rubbing his head.

"Take inspiration from Prem and Rahul," she said, stomping her feet and walking ahead.

Sunansh stood there, confused, wondering, "Why should I take inspiration from Rahul Gandhi?”
