Aren showed no further interest in dealing with Emrys. He turned to Larissa, said goodbye, and left the area.

Larissa watched the scene unfold with an expression of amusement. I believe Rys is up to some trick again. I wonder how Aren would react if he knew that the nobody he referred to was actually an Empyrean Lord.
