Chapter 2308 - Qiu Meng

Qin’er, Ji Yuesong, Zhu Yan and Luo Yun flew towards Sky Pool Holy Court from Reincarnation Region.

They were headed to a place called Paramount Region in Sky Pool Holy Court, a decision that had been made beforehand.

In the air, the few people flew together and talked casually.

“Qin’er, how are you doing?”

Zhu Yan was concerned about Qin’er as he observed her sullen face.

Luo Yun and Ji Yuesong immediately turned their heads towards Qin’er. She was less chatty today.

“I don’t think we should go to Paramount Region. Let’s head to Spatiotemporal City instead!” Qin’er stared at the three and said.

“To Spatiotemporal Region?” The three exclaimed in shock. They had discussed that they were going to Paramount Region already. Why did Qin’er want to go to Spatiotemporal Region?

“Qin’er, didn’t we agree on Paramount Region?” Ji Yuesong asked in confusion.

“There isn’t anything special about Paramount Region. Spatiotemporal Region is better, we can raise our cultivations more quickly at Spatiotemporal City!” Qin’er explained.

“Qin’er, I thought you never went to places you’d been to before?” Zhu Yan asked.

He was familiar with Qin’er and Qin’er loved to explore places when she went out on journeys. She wanted to gain more experience and would never go to a place repeatedly.

“No. I feel that Spatiotemporal City is good, there is no harm in going there!” Qin’er shrugged.

“Qin’er, are you hoping to find Duan Jingtian there?” Luo Yun asked suspiciously.

“What…? You are thinking too much… why would I be looking for Duan Jingtian?” Qin’er’s face instantly changed and she stuttered.

However, it was obvious that she was lying and the three others instantly spotted her lie.

In an instant, the atmosphere turned dark.

“Qin’er, didn’t Elder Xuantian say that Duan Jingtian would not return?” Zhu Yan reminded her with a sour face. It has been a few years but Qin’er was still thinking about Duan Jingtian!

“Father wasn’t sure whether he would return or not!” Qin’er countered.

“You…!” Zhu Yan’s face was dark. Qin’er was so stubborn.

“Qin’er, Duan Jingtian is a godly talent, but he is evidently not someone on our level. Why are you looking for him?” Luo Yun sighed.

She admitted that she had been dumb previously. Duan Jingtian was exceptional and she confessed that she wanted to establish a closer relationship with him.

However, Duan Jingtian was gone now, like the breeze of a wind. He had left nothing behind and he was like a passing visitor to Human Palace.

“Not on our level!” A disappointed look crossed Qin’er’s face.

With that, she sighed inwardly. She knew that Luo Yun was speaking the truth

However, she wanted to find Duan Jingtian. He hadn’t even bidden farewell to her when he’d left.

“Don’t think about it, let’s train at Paramount Region first!”

Ji Yuesong uttered. He had mixed feelings towards Duan Jingtian.

“Alright!” Qin’er sighed helplessly. Since the three did not agree to her suggestion, she had to go to Paramount World as planned. She decided to find another time to go to Spatiotemporal Region.

Inside the jade bottle, Su Mo sighed having overheard everything that had happened in the outside world

Qin’er was so determined to see him, but the irony was that she was carrying him with her.

“I am sorry that I couldn’t say goodbye to you!” Su Mo sighed to himself. However, he was sure that he would return in the future.

Yet, Su Mo wasn’t sure how long that would be. It could be a few dozen years or maybe even hundreds of years.

With that, Su Mo calculated the time he took. Five hours had passed since they’d left Human City and he could prepare to leave soon.

All of a sudden, however, something changed.

A sudden ear-piercing sound tore through the air as the four people flew.

“Hm?”

The group of four turned their heads and were all surprised. A man caught up to them from behind. He was a disciple of Human Palace.

This man seemed to be about thirty years old. With a black shirt, he was short and skinny. A soft beard grew from his chin.

“Qiu Meng!”

The four exclaimed together in recognition. They recognized the black-shirted young man. He was a disciple who had entered Human Palace a few hundred years ago, after the examination.

Since there weren’t many disciples who had joined Human Palace from the outside world, the man was well known.

“Ji Yuesong, Luo Yun, Qin’er, Zhu Yan, why are you all here?” The black-shirted man caught up to them in the blink of an eye.

“Brother Qiu Meng, we are going to Paramount Region to explore it. What about you?” Qin’er asked as the group stopped.

“Paramount Region?”

The eyes of Qiu Meng brightened and he laughed, “What a coincidence. I am headed to Paramount Region as well. Let’s go together?”

“Haha, we are appreciative if Brother Qiu Meng is willing to join us!” Ji Yuesong laughed. Qiu Meng was no weakling as he was a low Rank 3 True Deity. Although he wasn’t an exceptional talent, he was strong.

“Since you don’t mind, I will go with you all!” Qiu Meng wore a warm smile on his face.

“Brother Qiu Meng, we should follow you instead as you are stronger than us!” Zhu Yan suggested in a low voice.

“Ha ha, Zhu Yan you are too nice!”

Qiu Meng burst out laughing and continued, “Let’s talk as we head there!”

“Mm!” The group nodded their heads and they continued on their way.

However, inside the jade bottle, Su Mo couldn’t help frowning. Another person had actually joined the group.

“How could it be so coincidental?” Su Mo was cautious and he felt something amiss.

Furthermore, the man’s cultivation rank was of a low Rank 3 True Deity. Su Mo had to be careful.

Su Mo didn’t rush to head out and he decided to observe the man. After all, they were still pretty far from Sky Pool Holy Court.

In the high skies, Qin’er, Luo Yun, Ji Yuesong, Zhu Yan, as well as the black shirt man called Qiu Meng, headed towards Sky Pool Holy Court.

The group was in high spirits as they talked.

“What happened to Duan Jingtian of the Human Palace? I have never seen the favored one!”

“Brother Qiu Meng, don’t mention Duan Jingtian!” Zhu Yan warned.

“Oh? Why not?” Qiu Meng asked suspiciously. A dark look crossed his eyes.

“Just don’t mention it!” Zhu Yan concluded.

Qiu Meng was suspicious and he saw that Ji Yuesong, Luo Yun and Qin’er were all silent.

However, it would be awkward for him to probe further considering Zhu Yan’s attitude.

“Strange!” Qiu Meng was suspicious. He was naturally on Tian Chenyu’s orders to investigate Su Mo’s whereabouts.

In actual fact, he had already stalked the four for a while and he’d only showed himself to have no other choice.

After all, Ji Yuesong was a top talent and it would be easy for him to spot a stalker. He was also a disciple of Human Palace and there was nothing wrong with him just following the group.
