Billionaire Bad Boys Club

ACT TWO SCENE SEVEN

COMPANION

third person

PERSPECTIVE

'OUR DREAMS. I HOPE OUR DREAMS COME TRUE.' the sound of her voice flashes in Luca's mind. He places a hand on his forehead, it was blazing hot. A sudden rush of annoyance passes in his mind, the sound of Luca's fist slamming on the classroom table forces the teacher to stop talking and focus his tentative gaze on Luca.

"Mr Valdez?" the teacher looks at Luca wearily, being careful around the caramel haired boy. Luca stands up, without another word as he leaves the classroom in a rush - ignoring the persistent calls by his teacher.

"My dream hasn't come true yet, I wonder if yours did." Luca murmured to himself, walking towards the infirmary with a tired expression on his beguiling face. His body temperature was rising but he was too engrossed in his thoughts to realise.

Suddenly Luca found himself feeling dizzy, the hallways were becoming repetitive, his vision was beginning to become blurry. He holds on to a locker for support as sweat began to drip down his forehead.

"Luca?" the sound of her voice causes him to look up abruptly, simultaneously he felt the corners of his lips tugging up before his eyes rolled back.

And that's when the world turned black.

Turning black before the only light in his life.

LUCA WAKES UP in the infirmary and his tired eyes began to adjust to the light. Just as he was about to sit up straight, he felt a hand press against his chest - pushing him back. Luca felt his heart beating rapidly as he felt his eyes slowly trailing up towards the pretty brunette who sat on the edge of the bed he was laying in.

"Don't move. I literally just placed a new wet towel on your forehead." the sound of her soft alluring voice causes him to abide by her words without any complaints. Sahar simply sighs, removing her hand from his chest: feeling flustered by his obedience.

Luca watches as she removes her hand with a blank expression on his face, hiding his true emotions.

"So... you're not going to say thank you?"

Sahar's words cause Luca to meet her eyes.

He simply sighs.

Sahar crosses her arms. "I knew I wouldn't get a thank you from you," she mutters incoherently, glancing at Luca with a frown. "After all, you don't seem like the type to say thank you."

"You didn't have to help me."

Sahar scoffs. "Acting all cool now are we?" she rolls her eyes as she ties her hair up into a loose ponytail, too lazy to deal with her untameable hair.

"Now let me remind you, I saved your butt and now you have to repay by saying thank you." she threatens, unconsciously moving closer towards Luca's face.

"A thank you? You seem like you're asking for more than just a thank you." a smirk finds its way on to Luca's face as he pulls her body closer towards him. "And I'll gladly help you, I only require a simple yes."

Sahar widens her eyes at his words, immediately pulling away from Luca. She looks around awkwardly before heading towards the door, she gives him one last look before turning her back against him.

"I have to go class." she exclaims, a small blush appearing on her face as she rushes out of the room without another word, leaving Luca to watch her with a ghost of a smile on his face.

Cute, Luca thought to himself as he laid on the infirmary bed. He places a hand on his chest, the thunderous sound of his heart causes him to jolt up, he was conflicted. He was conflicted with the idea of liking Sahar.

Did he like her because she was the only person he's able to touch without feeling the sensation of his body feeling like it's burning under a bright fire. Or did he like her because of her sweet personality and alluring charms?

Luca sighs.

He can't continue this.

He can't use Sahar for his own benefit.

That's simply playing with her feelings.

But it's a dog eat dog world.

To get to the top you must use someone else. And for Luca to be cured he must use Sahar.

In order to get over this trauma of his, he must use the only person he can touch to his advantage. With her support he can get over this psychological trauma once and for all and lead a normal life.

And after Luca is cured?

He'll ditch her.

Like every other girl he has used.

PERSPECTIVE

A BILLIONAIRE BAD BOYS CLUB member has dirty tricks up his expensive sleeves. Luca Valdez is the leader which means he's the most experienced out of the group and is able to manipulate others and use them to his advantage. It makes no sense how he's paying a lot of attention to me nowadays after the great revelation of me being his childhood friend.

That doesn't stop him from making his sly moves. There's something seriously wrong, his actions aren't matching his words. The way he's behaving is disturbing my thoughts and main goal. The worst part of it all is that I don't understand why he's doing this, and why he's willing to go against the very group he made.

"Bunking class now, hanging out with me has changed your mindset." the sound of Asher's irritating voice pulls me out of my conflicting thoughts. Right. I had a class to go to but I was too busy taking care of Luca. Why did I even stay back to take care of him?

"We haven't been friends for that long, don't get your hopes up Asher." I turn my back against him, making my way towards my classroom. I cared a lot about my education, I cared so much that I'd stay back after class ended to catch up on all the minutes I've missed.

His hand gently pulls me back.

"Hope? I've never had hope with you in the first place Sahar." a pretty smile appears on his beguiling face.

"That's a little rude."

"I guess I'm like that some times."

"That's not something you should be proud of." I mumble, turning around to leave Asher but he doesn't get the memo and pulls my hand once more.

A dangerous look masks his face as he runs a hand through his platinum blonde hair. "Bunk class with me, I'll show you how rude I am." he says, his eyes glistening under the bright light.

"I don't need evidence, plus I have class and my mother isn't paying a large amount of money for me to slack off with stupid boys." I retort, attempting to shrug his grip off my wrist but it doesn't work.

Asher simply tightens his grip on my wrist.

"Be careful with your words Sahar, words like stupid really don't comprehend with a guy like me." Asher says, the tone of his voice causes me to frown. It was now harsh and cold, the playful aura he had before dissipated in the matter of seconds.

"Then what word would you like me to use? Idiot? Moron? Dense? Unintelligent-" suddenly Asher shocks me by punching the locker behind me, I widen my eyes instantly: moving aside to see his fist has created a large dent on the steel locker.

"I just don't like being called stupid." he whispers, a melancholic look masking his face. Perhaps I was wrong, I shouldn't have crossed the boundaries: I should've noticed the discomfort on Asher's face when I called him stupid.

"I'm sorry Asher." Just as I was about to place my hand on his shoulder, Asher flinches, moving away from me.

"It's alright, I'm used to it." his words were almost silent, as if he didn't want me to hear what he said.

Silence fills the atmosphere.

"Let's go to the infirmary." I state, looking at Asher's fist. Punching that locker seemed to have a lot of damage on his fist and it would get worse if he didn't treat it straight away.

"It's alright."

"No, it's not alright." I grab his arm, pulling him towards the infirmary. Asher looks at me, his eyes lingering on my hand that gripped him tightly.

"You must be hurt too..." he says softly, staring at the mark on my wrist from his tight grip.

"Oh that? It's no big deal, I always get hurt like that anyways." I mutter, ignoring Asher's heavy gaze.

Suddenly Asher stops walking. I turn around to meet his deep eyes staring straight into my soul, i jolt back: shocked from his deadly gaze. Asher places a hand on my shoulder hesitantly, watching me solemnly.

"Always?" he questions, an angry look appearing on his soft features. "Is someone hurting you Sahar? If that's the case you can always tell me-" before Asher could speak further, I cut him off.

"Nobody is hurting me Asher, I just get bruised easily and sometimes I don't even realise it myself." I throw him a small smile. I watch as Asher visibly relaxes at my words, letting out a deep sigh.

"Thank you though."

"Thank you for what?" Asher looks at me with confusion evident on his face.

"Caring about me, it means a lot to me." I state, thankful for his kind gesture.

"Caring?"

"You're showing that you felt bad for me and attempted to see if I was alright, that's called caring Asher and it's one of the first selfless acts I've seen from you throughout our friendship or what you like to call it, companionship."

Asher blinks.

"That's how people care for each other?" he whispers.

"Yes Asher, that's how people care for each other."

"I knew this companion thing was a good idea." Asher says, watching me with a bright smile. A bright elysian smile that made my heart feel warm.

"How so?"

"I'm starting to understand the idea of friendship instead of always wondering about myself first, it feels different thinking about another person before myself: for some reason it feels good." Asher says, the dimples in his cheeks causing the corners of my lips to tug.

"I'm glad you feel that way Asher."

"I guess I'm glad too, thanks for being the best companion a guy could ever ask for." Asher pats my back, causing me to chuckle.

"Now let's go to the infirmary." I push him towards the door of the infirmary.

Asher stops walking.

"Ladies first." he gestures for me to walk in first.

"You're being oddly nice right now, it's scaring me." I state, moving past him to enter the infirmary. Asher follows after me, chuckling at my words.

"Don't worry about me, worry about your wrist." Asher says, grabbing my wrist gently, scanning it with a frown. "I'm sorry by the way, I didn't realise I hurt you, companion." Asher mumbles, gently caressing the area that was wounded.

"Companion? Is that some sort of nickname for me now?"

"I guess so, it's a symbolism of our friendship." Asher responds, placing me on the spare bed in the infirmary. There was another bed but it was occupied, the curtains were closed.

"I'm not badly injured Asher, we need to tend to your wound first because it's more urgent!" I exclaim but Asher ignores me, grabbing a pack of ice from the mini fridge. He places it on my wrist, holding it in its place.

"I want to focus on you before myself, you taught me this, you called it caring and I want to care for you Sahar." his words cause my heart to numb, my eyes widen at his kind words.

Asher continues to apply pressure on the bruise, but I felt myself watching his focused expression. For some reason I couldn't help but watch him, the way he seemed to care about me caused my heart to melt.

But I wasn't sure if he was genuine. After all, he is a billionaire bad boys club member.

"Sahar."

I wasn't sure if I regarded Asher as a proper friend.

I felt a hand tap my cheek. "Hey, Are you alright?" the sound of Asher's voice pulls me out of my thoughts, only to find his attention solely on my face.

"Sorry, I was just thinking."

"Thinking about what?" Asher questions, his eyes watching me curiously.

"Nothing serious."

"Oh so you weren't thinking about me because surely I'm really serious, but then again, you never know." Asher says, his face dangerously close to mine. I move back, adjusting myself on the bed.

Before I could respond, another voice intrudes.

"The both of you are too loud, can't you tell I'm trying to sleep here?" Luca snaps, the curtains were open, revealing his cold expression. For some reason he didn't seem like himself at all, he seemed more colder than usual. So cold that the room adjusted according to his aloof self.

poor luca, heading sahar and asher talk. why do you think Asher hates the word stupid so much? do you think there's a story behind that. and luca, do you think he really likes sahar or is it just because she is the only person he is able to touch? anyways what are your ships?
