RUTHLESS & ARROGANT

PERSPECTIVE

ANYONE IN THEIR right mind would ever displease Luca Valdez in his origin, Devon Academy for the Elite. My eyes wander across the poor freshman boy: who yelled foul words about Luca's system being 'unfair'. Although the boy was right, Luca Valdez was an menace; a member of the billionaire bad boy club who lacked empathy.

"Beg." the caramel haired boy says with a degenerate smile, his brown eyes flickered with joviality. I wondered, does he ever look in the mirror to see how much of an asshat he is?

Luca Valdez couldn't care less whether or not he was an rude, arrogant narcissist: and that's what made him indestructible.

His best friend Asher Devon watches the freshman with a devilish smile, his rose lips spread menacingly. Asher's angelic appearance juxtaposed to his sinful actions, he was a platinum blonde haired menace who hated weak people.

"N-No, this system of yours belittles everyone except you!" the freshmen chokes out, his voice cracking. Luca looks at the impecunious boy with a passionless gaze, he couldn't care less about how the boy felt about his system.

"What should we do with him?" Luca gazed at the boy with an indecisive look, he turns his focus to his best friend Asher who looked back at him with an imperil look.

"Like the rest, he deserves to be a target." Asher Devon states cunningly. He runs a hand through his platinum blonde hair, in midst of doing so, his prepossessing looks cause the girls and a few boys of Devon Academy to swoon.

A target, they meant a target of bullying. Just one word from one of the billionaire bad boys club members, the students of Devon Academy will relentlessly bully the target until they finally give up and leave.

The freshmen's lips quiver in fear. I felt bad for the scrawny boy, perhaps it was wrong of him to speak against the leader of the billionaire bad boys club. If he remained silent and accepted his fate of being lower than them, maybe he would've survived the experience of Devon Academy.

"Now, now, we don't want your father to find out about this Asher." A new voice enters the conversation.

Helius Gray, the golden boy of Devon Academy, one of the nicest members of the billionaire bad boys club. His flaxen personality was admired by everyone, with his Persian heritage and ethereal looks, he was someone who seemed untouchable.

Asher raises his perfectly arched eyebrows, a sublime look appears on his face. "You're right, I'll just make him leave myself." he says with a deceitful smirk causing Helius to frown, it was as if that wasn't the reaction he was expecting out of Asher.

He bends down in dissatisfaction, staring the freshmen in the eyes with a jet gaze. "Leave, and don't come back." Asher says with a frigid tone, the freshmen looks at him in horror before standing up abruptly. How did that even work?

But before the freshman could run away, a muscular figure comes into his view, blocking his only path of escape. Silas Gray, brother of Helius, stops before him with a piercing gaze. He was the polar opposite to Helius: a much colder alternative who lacked empathy just like Luca Valdez.

"He can't disrespect Valdez," Yes, Silas acknowledges Luca by his last name. Yet nobody knows why, rumours state it's only due to Silas having an fragile enmity with Luca. "And get away with it." he finishes his statement with a conceited smirk.

"I'm sorry, please let me go just this once—" before the boy could finish his statement, Silas slams him against the steel locker. The innocent boy yelps as his head hits the cold locker, people watch in fear, Silas Gray had the reputation of striking fear to onlookers around him.

"There's no second chance," he says smugly, releasing his tight grip on the freshman. I watch as the freshman slides down the locker, he looked almost unconscious. One more hit and he'd be knocked out.

For some reason Silas Gray didn't seem to enjoy hurting people. Although his actions and expressions seemed like he did so, the tone of his voice didn't seem to cooperate. It made no sense at all.

There was one billionaire bad boys club member watching the scene unfold silently, Jumin Xu. He was the last to join the billionaire bad boys club, with his arcane traits and indecisive gaze, he was a difficult person to understand.

"Is there a reason why we have a crowd?" Luca Valdez snaps, his cold eyes wander around the room menacingly. People begin to scatter at his command, but I, I remain in the side of the hallway out of curiosity.

After the crowd dispersed, the five boys surround the puny freshman.

"What's going to happen to him?" Helius Gray questions, looking at the freshman with slight remorse. Luca Valdez looks at him for a moment, an ambiguous expression masking his face.

"He's going to leave." Asher Devon answers on Luca Valdez' behalf. He walks towards the boy sluggishly, pulling him by the shoulder. "What does this stick eat? He's so heavy yet so thin." he mutters incoherently.

Helius chuckles drily, it seemed like he didn't enjoy the fact his friends treated people like trash. Even his own brother seemed to enjoy it yet I felt Silas Gray was pretending to be this mighty and emotionless guy who lacked empathy.

"What are we doing tonight?" Silas asks, looking at his Armani watch with apathy.

"Tonight?" Helius repeats in confusion.

A sinister smirk forms on Luca Valdez's immaculate face. With his unsullied looks he seemed to get away with anything. "We're paying a visit to the club, there are tons of girls waiting for us."

Asher turns to look at his best friend with a look of excitement, he despised girls, after all, they were all melodramatic whores who deserved his exorbitant attention. "Seems like there's more hearts to break." he states straightforwardly, glancing at his ethereal appearance on his stainless watch.

"Girls are not toys." Helius Gray says with a displeased expression, once again, his golden aura was undeniably shining like an knight in his shining armour.

"That's because they're a game." Jumin finally speaks, his brown eyes glimmer under the exquisite chandelier above. My eyes widen at his words, so he was a jerk like the rest of them.

"And games, games are fun." Jumin states, his gaze felt like it was directed straight at me but that would be impossible, none of them can see me. I shudder at the tension, walking outside of the school as quickly as possible.
