SILAS LEAVES ME in front of the cafe.
I notice Jumin sitting down in front of a sleek leather bag. His eyes were dazed and it seemed as though his mind was somewhere else. There were two cups of Luwak coffee beside the bag, they looked steaming hot.
"Hey."
Jumin looks up to meet my eyes. "Oh, hello." he responds calmly, gesturing towards the seat in front of him.
"I-" before I could continue, Jumin interjects me.
"Let's both talk about what's about to happen, not about what did happen, there's no use of thinking about the past when all we have is the future." his words were soft and sonorous. Jumin was right, if I keep going on and on about the past I will never wonder about the future. And if I was going to fix my mistakes, I'll have to improve the outcome of my future.
"I understand, is there anything you have in mind?"
Jumin nods his head. "It's not anything big right now, but we were thinking of leading Normani and Solar to confess to what they actually did in the next golden speech but they will be recorded and the audio will be blasted through the speakers in the hall."
"How do you plan on making them confess?"
"Leave that to Silas, he seems to be good at getting the truth out of anyone, they'll confess to him rather easily." Jumin states, taking a sip of the coffee in front of him. He crinkles his eyes. "Yuck, how you you enjoy this? It tastes so bitter, I think I should've stuck to my caramel cappuccino."
I laugh. "Mine tastes fine, maybe I'm too used to it."
"500 dollars for this? An absolute mockery." he mutters disapprovingly.
"If you don't mind, I'll pay for both."
Jumin looks at me dumbfounded. "Sahar darling, I know we both are rich but it doesn't mean I'll let you pay for this, after all, you took up my offer for coffee and I appreciate it just enough to pay for it all." he says, glancing down at the bag in front of him. "I'd like you to have this bag, it won't get ruined, it's practically foolproof with its deluxe appliqué."
I look at the bag, the words stood out to me boldly. Yuna's boutique. From what I can see earlier, there was a name change from Yuno to Yuna. I've always heard that Jumin had a little brother but hearing that he has a sister is puzzling and that too a really successful one. Then it all clicks, I look up at him, he had a ghost of a smile. He must truly admire his sibling.
"I-I can't accept this, it must cost a lot for it to be personally made."
"My sister said it's a gift, free of charge and so I think you should accept it." he pushes the bag forward. "I think you'd like it a lot, it seems to catch your eyes."
I take the bag. "Thank you Jumin, it means a lot to me."
"I hope it does because it's something special to me too."
"I guess I'll wear this everywhere now." I joke.
Jumin meets my gaze. "I'd appreciate that."
"Well, now that we have that out of the way, let's order you a caramel macchiato."
"No it's okay, I'll get it myself."
"My treat, take it as a thank you from me." I say, standing up. "After all, as people we should treat each other and be there for each other, take this as my gratitude."

GRATITUDE. TREAT. JUMIN WATCHES as Sahar walks towards where Zeph stood beside the cashier. He smiles for the first time in a long time. It's nice knowing that he could have a friend, an actual friend who is nice enough to take everything into consideration. It took him a lot of convincing to give her this bag, he's glad that she's appreciating the gift from his sister.
Jumin loses his smile as he notices a text from Asher. It wasn't the type of text he'd expect from the platinum blonde, it was one filled with missed messages. He frowns as he taps the message in front of him to enlarge it.
