PERSPECTIVE

"I want to do things that don't involve being friends, is that too much to ask for Sahar?"

ASHER'S WORDS CATCH ME OFF GUARD. I knew he was an indecent person but I didn't know he was very obvious in the way he felt about certain things. Things that go past the boundary of love.

His eyes twinkle with levity. He treated everything like it was one big game, for some reason that bothered me. It irritated me that someone like him was able to speak without shame.

"Are you being serious?"

My words simply cause Asher to frown.

"I am being serious."

I had no words. What was I meant to answer him with? Yes I'd love to be friends with benefits! No. I had decency, I had a motive. My motive wasn't to become involved with Asher sexually or romantically.

My motive was to bring Normani back.

"Baby steps Asher. There's no need to rush things like these." I smartly respond. That way Asher would assume that something will happen between us, when really and truly I know nothing of such will ever happen.

A smirk appears on Asher's ethereal face. "So you're saying something will happen?" he questions, his words sounding alluring yet mesmerising.

I purse my lips. "You want something without romance right?" I question, for some reason I felt tempted to know what Asher truly desired.

Asher nods his head. "Romance isn't my forte, there's no need to fall in love when you can feel it physically." his words resembled words of a true playboy. He didn't care about feelings, he cared about feeling the physical pleasure of something.

"Why me?"

Asher's eyes glimmer. "Why not?"

I frown. He wasn't being open about his answers. They lacked flavour and explanation. That's what irritated me, he's a straightforward person with blunt answers.

"No reason," I shift in my seat, watching Asher like a hawk. "Have you ever done this with a friend?" my question causes Asher to chuckle.

"You're my only girl friend, so no."

"Then you shouldn't say things like this." I state, watching Asher's smirk grow deeper.

"Why? Does it make you uncomfortable, Sahar?" his words were teasing me, pulling on my last nerve.

I frown deeply. "No it doesn't make me uncomfortable, it's just a little weird that you're asking a friend to do something with you: friends are not romantically involved."

"Very well, I guess we could remain friends for now." Asher says, his eyes shimmering under the bright light of the café. His intentions were indeed dirty, yet his way with words felt undeniably alluring. I despised the fact he easily is able to play with my mind with his smooth gestures and words.

"For now?" I mutter, however my words are noticed by the demon himself, Asher Devon. The dimples on his cheeks pop out as he smiles, causing me to slightly fawn. He truly is a beautiful individual, his attitude and playboy demeanour made him into a person I disliked to this day.

"I can't have a girl that is a friend for too long, it doesn't work like that." he murmurs, taking a long sip of his white tea. "A girl as beautiful as you can't just be my friend." his words once again leave me trapped, I couldn't let this happen. This billionaire bad boys club member will not get the best of me.

I clench on to the tea cup. "I doubt that Asher, you and I both know that won't ever happen." I mutter distastefully, but the taste of the tea was just enough for me to forget my dissatisfaction with Asher's calm attitude.

Asher smiles. "What more could you want, Sahar? I have everything, it doesn't take much for a girl like you to say yes." he states, wiping the corner of his lips with his Armani branded handkerchief.

A girl like you. How could he? Labelling me as some gold digger who would do anything for luxury, no that wasn't the case with me. "If that's what you think of me, let's consider this friendship over." I stand up abruptly, not thinking about the consequences of my actions.

Asher places his tea cup down on the table calmly. "Now Sahar, you shouldn't walk away with anger, think of this as an offer: an offer that could bring your friend back into this school." his words cause me to look at him in shock. He knew exactly what I wanted and he was willing to give it to me.

But of course there had to be a catch.

I sit down calmly, ready to listen to what he has to say.

"Good girl." Asher says with a complacent gaze, scanning my every detail with his heavenly eyes.

I ignore his remark. Good girl, he's yet to see the worst of me. His idea of me being a good girl will go down the drain the moment I reveal my true intentions.

"There's so much I could ask from you," he murmurs, placing a hand on his cheek. "But I'll hold myself back from wanting what I desire the most." he mumbles, looking at me with an conflicting gaze: what could this boy truly desire?

"Is that so? Why don't you ask me straight to my face? I hate playing around." my words cause Asher to look at me with a gleam in his eyes, a gleam that revealed a deep intent.

"That's what I like about you Sahar, you challenge me even when you know where I stand," Asher runs a hand through his lustrous platinum blonde hair, his intense gaze was focused on me: making me shift in my chair awkwardly. "And I quite like that in a girl, that's why I want to know more about you and how you work."

I raise an eyebrow. "How I work?" I scoff, he was treating me like a toy you'd find at a toy store. "I'm not some toy for you to be playing around with and to witness how I work, I'm an actual person with actual emotions." my words cause Asher to nod his head.

"I apologise, that came off as something rude but what I'm trying to say is that I find you intriguing and you're someone I want to get to know well." he murmurs, watching me with desirous eyes.

"How does this link to my friend Normani?"

Asher chuckles, his laughter is even sounds like a melody, placing mine to shame.

"I want you to be by my side as an companion, not as an girlfriend but someone I can spend time with to discover more about this idea of having feelings and friendship." his words catch me off guard. This was the same guy who asked me for physical love, now he wants to get to know me better?

That doesn't make any sense at all. It must be one of his little schemes but I have no idea what the motive behind this scheme is.

"Your billionaire bad boys club members will laugh at you, having the same girl by your side all the time is regarded as weak, you wouldn't want to be called weak by your so called friends would you, Asher?" I tell him, watching Asher's face morphs into a look of amusement.

"Let them laugh, I'm simply trying to experience something I've never experienced before." his words were soft and gentle, this was a lie with a beautiful mask, so beautiful it sounded believable.

I gulp. "And me doing this will bring Normani back?"

Asher nods his head, a ghost of a smile forming on his ethereal face. "I'll give you everything, just for the sake of you being by my side."

"So you don't want me as a girlfriend but as a friend? But weren't you literally begging to hook up with me just a few moments ago?"

Asher chuckles. "I was just testing you Sahar, even though you're gorgeous, I wouldn't ask to hook up with you since you don't seem like someone who is interested in that type of stuff with a random person." I wanted to scream that he wasn't a random person and that we have done it before. I used to be that type of person to hook up with a stranger, a stranger like Asher.

"Testing me?"

He nods his head. "I was wondering if you'd agree, if you did then we wouldn't be able to be friends and you wouldn't be the companion I'm looking for."

On Asher's behalf that is really smart.

"I guess I do agree, for the sake of Normani."

Asher smiles, his dimples showing. "I hope the both of us have a good experience with this friendship equally."

PERSPECTIVE

LUCA VALDEZ WATCHES ASHER walk beside a beautiful girl with brunette hair, the both of them were in a deep conversation, smiling and laughing: it seemed off; since when was Asher capable of taking to a girl? He hated girls, well that's what Luca thought.

Beside Luca, Jumin Xu watches the pair speak comfortably. He scoffs, Asher didn't seem like the type to talk to girls, he'd always speak about breaking their hearts and how they're all melodramatic whores. It's crazy how the tables have turned.

"I can't believe this." Silas mutters, his eyes widening at the sight of Asher and Sahar in school. "I didn't think they'd associate with each other in school." his words were soft, he knew who Sahar really was. After getting a phone call from Helius: he was told how Sahar is the same girl Luca loved.

When Silas heard the news that Sahar was the same girl Luca loved he was shocked. In fact, knowing that Asher knows this is quite confusing. Why would another member involve himself in the life of another member? That too with a vicious intent.

But Silas couldn't say anything about this. He promised Helius that he won't expose anything. Maybe it was insolent of Silas to even promise such a thing, the billionaire bad boys club member is going against his leader.

"You knew about this?" Jumin questions, watching the pair with distaste. A girl is ruining the club, that was something Jumin despises. It irritated him that Asher is breaking a very strong rule in the billionaire bad boys club rule book. And that rule was to not date a girl when being in the club.

Silas nods his head. "They're friends, well that's what they told me." he mutters, if they were more than friends then that's going against the billionaire bad boys club rule book.

Jumin clenches his jaw. What is Asher up to? His question lingers in his aloof mind as he makes his way to approach the pair, he had a hundred colourful words to spew.

Luca grabs Jumin's shoulder, preventing him from moving closer to the pair. "Don't, until we know who this girl is, then we will question Asher."

Jumin nods his head. He was loyal to Luca, he didn't go against the leader of the billionaire bad boys club unlike other people. However Jumin had no idea that three of the members knew a dirty secret, a secret that means so much to their leader.

Silas notices their interaction and frowns.

"I think you should question them, you have every right to, they look like a couple and that's going against solid rules." Silas murmurs, he was already annoyed that his brother Helius and friend Asher were up to something dangerous. Going against a leader is something that is forbidden in this club.

Luca frowns. He wanted to be as critical as he can with this situation, but he knew realistically that Asher and that beautiful girl could be a couple and that goes against a rule in the billionaire bad boys club rule book.

Rule breakers could never be a billionaire bad boy's club member. And Luca even knew that, so he has to take action on this himself as the leader of the billionaire bad boys club.

Jumin eyes Luca, he could see that Luca was conflicted with what to do. "Just do it Luca, question Asher who this female is." he mutters, turning his gaze to Asher and Sahar who were leaning on the exquisite lockers.

Luca nods his head. He approaches Sahar and Asher with a blank expression on his beguiling face. Both Asher and Sahar stop talking the moment the leader of the billionaire bad boys club approaches them.

"I see that you've found someone, Asher." Luca says bitterly, not even looking at Sahar. He was angry that a member went against the rules, in fact, he was angry that someone he sort of trusts to a certain extent broke a rule. He would've expected this from someone like Silas not Asher.

Asher looks at him with a frown. "Who Sahar?" the mention of Sahar's name causes Luca to look at the brunette haired girl with confusion. Sahar? As in the girl I used to adore? Luca wonders in his head, looking at the pretty girl with an intense gaze.

Sahar shifts uncomfortably. Asher takes a step in front of her. "Relax, you're kind of making her uncomfortable." he mutters, blocking Luca's view of the beautiful brunette. Luca felt his head screaming that he knew this girl, the name was very familiar and she looked very familiar.

"Don't worry Asher, I can talk to him." Luca widens his eyes as he hears her delicate voice, he was mesmerised. She sounded exactly like his childhood love, so identical, they were both so identical.

Sahar smiles, placing her perfectly manicured hand forward. "I'm Sahar, Asher's friend." her words cause Luca to look at Asher in utter shock, friend? Asher makes friends with girls? Luca thought to himself, nothing seemed to make sense.

Luca shakes her hand, he felt goosebumps as he felt her cold hand. "I'm Luca, it's nice to meet you, Sahar." Luca gulps, he couldn't help but wonder how familiar she looks to his childhood love. But Asher told him that why would his childhood love attend Devon Academy if she's poor. It would make no sense for the girl he adored to instantly become rich and attend this extensively rich school.

"I'm sorry did I say anything?" Sahar's voice pulls Luca out of his thoughts, he shakes his head before releasing his hold on Sahar's hand. Asher watches with amusement, it was funny how the leader of the billionaire bad boys club felt fazed by a mere girl.

"No, you didn't." Luca states blankly, turning his attention to Asher. But in his mind he was going out of control, he couldn't help but wonder if the Sahar in front of him is his golden love Sahar.

"We're friends, not a couple, you know I don't do relationships." Asher tells Luca, his words were believable and in fact correct. Him and Sahar were only friends, that's all Asher requested for with a mysterious intent.

"Right." Luca says blandly.

"If we were a couple, I would've claimed her." Asher states smugly, placing an arm around Sahar. Sahar rolls her eyes, shrugging his arms off her.

"Like hell you would've, I don't get claimed, I'm my own person you asshat." she murmurs, crossing her arms in annoyance. Asher smiles, he liked the way she challenged him, it was something new, something enticing.

Luca watches them with a shallow gaze. They bonded so well, just as well as him and his past love. For some reason he felt jealous he couldn't have a bond like this, after all, every girl he has met is after for his money and status.

"I see, you're friends." he murmurs, watching Asher and Sahar with an cryptic expression. He wasn't the type to reveal his deepest emotions, he was a closed book: one that was difficult to find implicit information from.

Asher loved this. Every inch of watching Luca upset seemed amusing. This was the beginning of something disastrous.
