Jamuni went to the office party of Niharika alongwith Abinash and her best friend Niharika.She wore a purple coloured plain silk saree with a backless blouse.All the eyes were looking at her but her eyes were looking for only one person, Mr.Jiten.Jamuni was laughing at some joke when a handsome looking man said to her,"Excuse me, are you a new employee or a close friend of one of our employees? Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself, My name is Jiten and I am the CEO of this company. You can call me Jeet as it suits me perfectly well."Jamuni looked at Jeet with inquisitive eyes. He had grey coloured eyes which were sharp and perceptive. His salt and pepper hair were adding to his image of an Ice king perfectly.She told Jiten,"My name is Jamuni and I would love to be a part of this wonderful company as one of it's future employees."Jiten was mesmerized by the innocence of Jamuni and he somewhere knew in his heart that Jamuni will play an important role in his life either in a constructive or in a destructive way.When the party got over, Jiten asked her to accompany him for a cup of coffee.As they went to a five star hotel, Jiten asked her while sipping his black coffee,"Jamuni is an unusual name, in fact I love this name. Who gave you this beautiful name which suits you perfectly?"Jamuni was sipping her cold coffee, she did not like the taste of black coffee. She looked at Jiten, who was smart and confident like a silver fox. She felt that one has to be cunning and smart in business.She answered in her soft and loving voice,"I used to live in mountains. You can call me a mountain girl. My parents gave me this name as they felt that I am sweet like black plum or Jamun."Jiten held her soft hand in his own as he asked her in almost in a whisper,"Will you be my sweet friend, my dear Jamuni?"She was excited to be with someone who knew what he was doing. He was one of the richest person of the corporate world still he did not have any airs about him. He behaved very politely with all his staff and the workers.Jamuni told Jiten,"I would love to be your friend till the end of my life, but please don't ask me to love you too as I have loved and lost twice and now I am totally empty in the matters of love!"Jiten said to Jamuni,"When I saw you, I thought that here is a perfect opportunity for someone like me to marry a beautiful girl as I am tired of living alone and desperately seek a loyal partner who always stays by my side. I wanted to sweep you off your feet. When I started talking to you, I have realised one thing that you are different from others. You are a class apart. I can see that you have a bright future."Jamuni told Jiten,"Many people said that to me but they didn't give me the time and opportunity to prove myself. When people see a beautiful face, they don't care much about the treasure of wealth hidden in their hearts!"Jiten said to Jamuni,"Yes, that's true! Even I used to think like that, earlier. Jamuni, I feel that I have hit the jackpot with you. If you don't mind then you can start a new life with me. Are you ready to accept me as your inseparable part of life?"Jamuni told Jiten,"I am ready to start a new chapter of my life with you as I am tired of all the lies and deception in my life till now in the name of love. I want to move away and move on after giving divorce to my ex-husband Neelesh, who cheated on me with his best friend's girlfriend Maya."Jiten assured her,"I will take care of your divorce part. You don't have to worry about your past anymore. After your divorce, we will get married as soon as possible as I can't wait any longer to make you my Mrs. Wife."Jamuni felt relieved after getting assurance by Jiten. She felt that she had found her knight in shining armour. She wanted to explore her true strengths in her life which might never give anybody else a chance to defeat her on the basis of her weak points. She smiled at Jiten, her saviour who promised her to be his queen in the land of rich and famous.It is such a strange paradox of life, that we always say that women are stronger than men but then we make men feel insecure at times as they try to clip the wings of freedom of all the strong women in their lives.Women know that being blunt and straightforward in life always land them in a soup, so they try to be discreet and think about various strategies to be numero uno, in this world.Jamuni knew that she was using Jiten for her own selfish reasons but women always forget that men have ruled this world by playing various mind games and applying various inappropriate strategies.She did not know that men like Jiten often use the vulnerability of a woman like Jamuni to fulfill their own hidden agenda under the garb of chivalry and in the name of much talked about and abused as well as infamous, "Love."Love is the weapon of destruction, used by men and women nowadays to slay their opponents without even lifting their finger.Jamuni escaped from Jogya, her first true love, then she ran away from her first husband Neelesh without knowing the complete truth and in the end found herself in the arms of a magnanimous lover, who claimed to be her well wisher, but will he be her true love or she was waiting to be deceived by the callous heart of a man!
