A Tale Of Two Words ( On Hold )Words: 9952

Ps : Even before I start the chapter, tysm darling my piuchan, she gave me so many ideas! Lobe youuu💌😺

🌷  long chapter ahead :

Finally the day arrived, when I was to be married off and would spent my rest of life in another household. ✨

Sandhya pov:

I stare at myself from the mirror, looking deeply at my eye bags, which made me look nothing more than a witch. I felt happy and sad at the same moment. I looked at my bridal lehenga, which gave off the vibes of a desi indian bride. Though it was light, I could barely walk, so i lifted it up and headed towards the mandap ( wedding stage)

Silent tears rushed down my cheeks, as I emerged out of my room heading towards the mandap. All I could think about at that moment was of Shivam. Neither did he reply to my texts not did he pick up my calls. Why? Couldn't he even bid me a final goodbye? Am I so much unimportant??

That's when a felt a pair of arms surrounding me, yeah, it was my soulmate again, Pihu.

"What's the soon to be bride doing? "

"Nothing, bas ab taiyar toh gyi, shaadi baki"

I said with a tone of irritation, with the thought that I now had to surrender myself in front of someone....

That too in front of a person whom I don't love...

Her look:

I was walking towards the mandap, when I clashed onto someone, a guy I guess. Oh no sorry, a lady!

But her face seemed to be covered but I did feel a familiar touch in him.

The only weird feeling I had was, when I saw Pihu, Jyoti and Shubhi both clinging on her as if though she's a piece of candy.

Her height was tall, and her hands were veiny, her hair was till her waist, pink lips, brown eyes and a red saree. Indeed her beauty attracted most of the guests, specially the groom himself, and failed even Pihu, Jyoti, Shubhi and even Sandhya.

I was about to walk away, when I heard her voice.

"Arey, oo roop ki rani, aj shaadi hai apki, aisa apne chand jaisa chehre ko murjhae na rakho, apne pyaar ke liye thoda to haslo... "

I caught her words, was she trying to tell me something? I couldn't help thinking about what she said

Oh no, maybe I'm overthinking. Perhaps, I sat down on the mandap when I noticed something .

Naman was holding the lady by her waist, and was calling her as "sundar mohtarma" and trying to flirt with her.

Oh god!!

N : what's ur name, sudar mohtarma?

?? : mera nam hai shiv---- i.... I mean SHIVANTIKA...

N : WOW, nice name...

On the other hand, Pihu and Jyoti we're continuously murmuring something, giggling and laughing.

P : agar is Naman ke bacche ko pata chal gya, ki ye sundar mohtarma kon hai, bechara na coma me chala jayega..

J : kya pata chalega, ki salwar ke niche talwar hai??

(🤣lmaoo)

Suddenly a man appears out of nowhere, and hold Jyoti's hand, while his companion comes and holds Pihu's hand. They were continuously laughing and giggling. When I noticed their faces. One was Riyansh, but the other man I couldn't recognise, perhaps it was Nakul, jyoti's fiance.

They kept on giggling while looking at Naman and that lady. Dunno why??

Y'all maybe thinking how I knew that, and how I know that Riyansh secretly likes Pihu, it's magic.

I saw Jyoti talking to Nakul about their marriage, and about Pihu I caught them at a vulnerable state last night. One more inch, and they would have kissed that too, when they were drunk. God knows what would have happened if I didn't separate them, maybe they'd have ended up in bed, bcz of the intoxication.

On the other hand,

Pihu and Jyoti, Shivam ( shivantika) pov:

"Plan A isn't working bhabhi ji, yeh Naman meko chor nhin rha, chipkali ki tarah para hai mere piche"

"Ok, plan B activate"

The rituals were about to start and the bride and groom both were seated. The wedding would start any moment.

(Author - kuch kar shivam ke bacche!

Shivam - ap chup rho khud to khane me busy ho.. Chup... Ekdum)

Suddenly the lights went off and a smoke emerged . A heavy whitish smoke which caused the guests and even the priest, groom ,everyone to go crazy, the halls echoed with chaos, and people were running here and there, while some people remained silent.

Naman was dumbfounded and couldn't think of what to do. Around 10 mins, everything went in chaos.

At last when the lights came, people returned to their senses, and there remained a few belongings of someone.

What more extraordinary was THE BRIDE WAS MISSING! SANDHYA WAS MISSING !!!

The pallu of a red saree was tied beside Naman and there were two oranges kept...

(🤣guess why, girls know it, forgive me for this)

And it was Nakul, who was peeling those oranges and teasing him

'Bade aye, "ap kon hai sundar mohtarma" '

Vulnerability was at its peak.....

N : but what will i do now, was I responsibile for all of this?

Naman pov :

I saw Sandhya's parents looking miserable.

I could ask them why she disappeared, but it wasn't clear to me, whether, she ran away or she was kidnapped.

I could approach them asking the reason behind her disappearance, but I chose to stay quiet, bcz now that she's already vanished she can't be brought back to the mandap.

Should I call of this marriage? Should I? Or should I marry someone else, I thought, as my reputation was already decreasing. I couldn't answer even the questions asked by the people. At last I made up my mind, the only way left now, to save my and my parents reputation is to marry another girl.

I was at a loss of words, Sandhya was gone. Like bro wth....

Then an immediate idea flashed across my mind...

I caught hold of his best friend, Sejal's hand. She is my saviour. Now it's only her who can help me escape this situation.

Meanwhile, Sejal who was busy in savouring the tasty pani puris, remained confused. She couldn't help thinking of what would happen now.

The bride had run away and there was Naman, who seemed to pay no attention to the media Or the guests.

He took Sejal's hand and asked her with a tone of worry in his voice.

N : Sejal, I know it is difficult for you to accept the fact, but now that destiny has played this game with me, it is only you who can save me.

Marry me, I request you, please Sejal, don't wait. If you really think me as your bsf, can't you do this little for me??

S : but Naman, I... I... Okay, okay first you calm down, I will see to this matter.

Not wanting to, Sejal had to agree to Naman because she couldn't see her bsf suffering that too, when there was such a big opportunity to help him, she thought of marrying him.

Naman always had a special sense of appreciation for his best friend Sejal. Maybe yes or maybe not but he had developed  various feelings in his heart for her. He had a deep sense of admiration and love for that one person. Not presumably in a romantic way, but of course in such a way which cannot be expressed by words or by actions....

Even Sejal herself knew about his feelings and deep down wanted to stop this marriage, bcz according to Naman, he was being forced. Though she chose not to express herself and stay quiet, she too had a kind of crush on him. But the only problem was he happened to be her best friend, and of course confession to your bsf is an incredibly difficult job.

She chose the path.

Sitting on the mandap, in her floral bright magenta lehenga, she decided to move on, though she couldn't express herself how she felt, being forced to become someone's replaced bride.

Sejal's father liked Naman, as he knew that his daughter had attraction towards him. He confronted his daughter and walked up to Naman, to speak to him.

"Son, at this point of time, I know you are in danger, and you need to save yours and as well as your company's reputation, thus you're marrying her. But before that, can you promise me, you're gonna keep my daughter sound and safe?? "

"Uncle, not as her bsf, but presently as her husband I ensure you I won't let a tear of cry escape her eyes, I assure you, and that you've trusted me, I won't break your trust" Naman said, touching her father's heart.

As a responsibility of raising up a child, it is obviously a father's duty to ensure his daughter's safety.

Sejal and Naman both emerged into the mandap, and the priest started the wedding.

The rituals started with the enchantment of various religious mantras, and both of them walked around the sacred fire , while their families showered them with blessings. As the mantras concluded, they exchanged their varmalas, and at the end they exchanged vows.

Naman swiftly tied the mangalsutra around Sejal's neck and they exchanged looks of love for each other. After all eyes talk.

While exchanging the vows, Sejal looked at her parents' happy faces, afterall ,thats all what matters for her. They were showered with blessings, flowers and love.

On the other hand,

Pihu and Jyoti bid goodbye to Shivam who Sandhya in his arms. He started the bike and with his deep smirk and vroom sound of his bike he went along, a whole tour.

Pihu : sun le, sambhal ke rkhna mere bharbhuti ji ko ....

Jyoti : Arrey, bhag, jaldi gadhe, warna tum dono ke sath hum bhi musibat me fasenge.

Shivam : goodbye ladies, and than you once again, agr aj ap log nhin hotein to shayd Sandhya ki shaadi us nalayak se ho jati. Thankyou so much, ap logon ke karan hi main aj bach paya. Aur ap bhi Nakul 'bhaiya'....

He said while looking into his cousin's eyes. Afterall, it was Nakul's paln to spray the whole mandap with pepper spray so that nobody can see and the lights to be turned off so that Shivam could easily escape with Sandhya.

Who actually thought that this guy would be so much cunning and mischievous to do all this? But there was a reason behind him doing all of it....

A reason......

Next chapter mein, there will be a flashback of how Nakul helped them escape. And a bit romance also. I gave an early update bcz I was free. Next update will come a little later. I won't update any further till I reach my target.
