OLLIE

“Do you want to know how badly I want to take you?” He grabbed my ass. “Remember what I said about taking my time?”

~Oh, no…~ He was planning on doing this for a while.

“Yes,” I moaned, arching my back.

“So impatient.” He held my hips steady as he removed my thong. “Do you want me to take my time, Olivia?”

“No!” I cried. I couldn’t take it anymore.

“No?” He spread my legs further for his entertainment. “Fuck. Look at you.” He caressed my ass softly. “Baby, you are a mess.”

Yes, a drenched mess about to punch him in the throat for making me wait.

He was torturing me!

“Just fuck me already!” I was losing my cool.

His husky laugh made me see red.

Why was this so funny to him?

“Just fuck me already, ~what~?”

Though I could not see his face, I knew he was smirking.

I was beginning to loathe him for real.

I breathed in, moving my pride to the side as the burning need was becoming unbearable.

“Just fuck me already, please. Fuck me!” I put my hands on the bookshelf, my back arched and ready, waiting for him as he stood and squeezed my butt cheeks.

Finally, he was going to fuck me.

I closed my eyes, waiting for the sweet pleasure.

“What makes you think there is going to be a next time?” He repeated my words from the hospital, and then he broke contact with my skin.

It was almost painful not feeling his touch on me.

A deep laugh erupted from his lips, mocking me as he stepped away.

Motherfucker! This motherfucker! I should have let them take his car.

“Good night, Olivia.” He looked at my naked body for the last time.

My hands were still holding the bookshelf.

“I am taking this with me.” He clutched my thong in his fist and didn’t turn around as he walked out of the room. “A reminder of how much you hate getting wet for me. They are drenched.”

Fucking Darius Rothschild!

I hated that guy.

When I went down to the kitchen the next morning, Vivian was sipping on a Bloody Mary, looking horrible.

Alexander and Sarah sat with her, having breakfast.

The poor girl looked like she’d gotten beat up at the bar.

Her bruise was red and purple with a shade of green on the side.

~Ouch!~

I sat in front of her. “Good morning,” I muttered. “You look awful.”

“It hurts like a bitch,” Vivian confessed, taking another sip.

“Well, good morning to you too, Olivia,” Alexander said. “There is a video of you rolling around.” He took a bite of his toast.

“What video?” I gasped.

Sarah covered her laugh by taking a sip of her coffee.

Alexander pulled his phone out, and I heard my voice over a beat.

“The one where you called me dumb. It has a million views already.” He put the phone in the middle of the table so everyone could look at it.

I was good; I almost looked like a legit performer.

I blushed while they listened to the part where I called Sarah a blonde, not dumb, a gold digger with a purpose.

Vivian added salt and pepper to her eggs. “Don’t be dramatic. She called ~me~ a phony. How did you know I was a virgin, Ollie?”

Obviously, she was joking about it.

Was she?

I looked at Sarah, who looked normal, with no sign of rage or discomfort.

Wasn’t she mad?

“At least you gave me a purpose, and I am not just some dumb random gold digger.”

She was mad.

“The best part is coming!” Vivian exclaimed.

Darius appeared in the kitchen and asked, “What are all of you watching?”

My face got even hotter and surely turned redder than ever.

He saw Vivian and did a double take. “And what happened to you?”

Vivian covered her bruise in shame.

I reached to snatch the phone, but Alexander was faster and took it away before I could grab it.

“Is that Olivia?” Darius asked in surprise.

“Mean rapper Olivia,” Vivian explained. “She is bullying the poor kid.”

“So, this is how you behave in public. No filter, huh?” Darius asked without taking his eyes off the video.

“Okay, guys, I know you are all mad, but I saved the car.” I raised my hand. “Who was the one afraid of having her head cut off? You’re welcome.”

I turned my head to look at Darius directly. “Yes, Vivian bet your car to a teenager, and she lost it.”

“You took my car? Which one?” Darius asked with barely controlled anger.

~Oh, shit!~ She was in trouble.

“Just the Maybach,” Vivian mumbled, avoiding his eyes and concentrating on her drink.

“~Just the Maybach?~ It’s a Maybach Exelero. Last time I checked, it went for eight to ten million dollars, and you bet it…on karaoke? Against what?”

Alexander relaxed in his chair, enjoying everything too much.

Fucking ten million? Ten million on the line for fun?

I swallowed hard.

“You snitch!” Vivian spat at me.

“Me, a snitch? Oh, please, save your words. That is so much better than being a weasel, Vivian!”

“A weasel? Did you just call me a weasel?” Vivian exclaimed.

Sarah jumped in. “Have a sense of humor. She is just a mean rapper, and she meant no harm.”

“Give me my keys,” Darius commanded.

“Olivia took them; she said I shouldn’t be allowed to take them anymore.” Vivian closed her eyes and sipped her Bloody Mary.

“Olivia was right.” Darius extended his arm toward me and opened his palm.

He wanted his key back.

I suddenly remembered that he had something I wanted too.

“Only when you bring me my meds and my book.” I raised my chin.

“I don’t have any patience left.”

“Me neither,” I fired back.

“Okay, let’s not fight, please?” Sarah grabbed Alexander’s hand on top of the table. “Can we have breakfast as a family first?”

“Yes, we can have breakfast.” Darius sat beside me.

He placed his left hand on my thigh, squeezing it lightly, sending electricity through my body.

“Anything else I should know about you? Any other secret talent?”

“No,” I grumbled, shaking his hand away.

He only squeezed harder, though, keeping it in place on my leg.

No one noticed as they were already talking about the next topic: New Year’s Eve.

“Eat, then we will talk.” He gave two little taps on my leg before removing his hand.

~Did he just pet me like a dog?~ I ate in silence, watching them.

Darius put more food on my plate.

What was he doing?

Vivian gave me an amused look as she watched him add another piece of toast to my plate.

“You cannot take your meds on an empty stomach,” he warned me, “Eat.”

I frowned, feeling confused, but ignored him as I continued eating.

“You don’t do that for me anymore, babe,” Sarah complained, looking at Alexander.

Darius looked at me and gave me a secretive look with a closed-mouth smile.

I blushed. My mind was in another realm.

He was making me nervous with this strange behavior.

Sarah stood and Alexander followed. “I need to pack my bags for tomorrow.” They were both walking to the exit.

“You’re leaving tomorrow already?” My question made her stop.

“Didn’t you hear the whole conversation? That’s literally what I said five minutes ago.”

“But I thought we had two more days before I had to get back to the city.” I hid my puppy face.

It was hard to admit how much I wanted to be near her.

It wasn’t how we usually behaved as sisters.

Fuck, I was experiencing something new.

The tables had turned and now I was the one who felt left out.

I was needy and my eyes itched.

Was this what it felt like when real tears pooled in your eyes?

“There’s been a change of plans. I am sure you can stay that extra day with Darius.” She glanced at her manicure, unaware of how I struggled.

From the way she spoke, I sensed she was hiding some information.

I took a long breath, doing my best to blink away any trace of my sad face.

Oh, no… Lord have mercy on me! Was I becoming Sarah? Was I a softie now?

I was lost in my thoughts, but I heard her say, “I’ll see you in January when I get back from Australia. We’ll hang out in your new apartment, promise.”

My hand went to my chest.

Again that fluttering feeling.

I’d been feeling strange since I’d woken up that morning, and my heart was racing.

Sarah waved her hand at me, breaking my trance. “Why are you so distracted?”

“It is because they are playing their dirty business under the table,” Vivian arched her eyebrows, looking at Darius.

“That’s not true!” I exclaimed, feeling another soft blush passing over my cheeks.

To make it worse, Darius placed his hand on top of mine, and I stiffened under his touch.

Everybody saw our hands together on the table and decided to remain quiet, except Vivian.
