"The flowers were all put to trash... sir."
Alexander's secretary mumbled in a low voice. Afraid that his boss might caused a huge fuss and blame it all to him. Worse, he might be forcibly lose his job right now considering how ruthless this boss of him could be.
With a hard glare, Alexander just snorted and gestured his secretary to go out of his room. The guy immediately went out with big steps.
He just came early this morning from their home country and he was immediately given a task to order hundreds of roses and deliver it to some fancy restaurant in the city and to be only put out to trashed! Those roses were cost a thousand of his boss' pockets!
Alexander tapped his fingers on the wooden table thinking to himself. If you could see him, he looked like a calm young man sitting comfortably in a fancy room. But in his head, everything was in chaos!
'Its been seven years since the last time I had experience how to court someone! How the hell will I get through this dillema?!' These were the words that kept on circulating around Alexander's mind.
"Ugh. I'm going crazy. I think I need the card to that mental hospital that stupid waiter gave me." With a sigh, Alexander stood up from his chair and went out from his room.
On his way out the mansion, he saw Zeke standing by the entrance while holding a phone in his hand. He was so busy pressing on his screen that his face contorted into an ugly shape. Watching Zeke's face turn into an unsightly one, Alexander couldn't help but frown.
"Dude... what's up?" Alexander tapped Zeke's back. Zeke's head snapped to his direction, his brows meet in between his eyes.
"The psycho who I had a one night stand last night turned out to be a man dressed as a woman! I was so shock that I didn't immediately react when he went and stole my wallet and phone!"
"I thought your radar was good?"
"Fuck my radar! He was so good in hiding his dick that I didn't see through his diguise!" Alexander wanted to laughed but cannot, knowing how his friend would do to him.
"Then? Have you told the police about this?" Alexander asked nonchalantly like it was the obvious thing to do. With a hard glare, Zeke directed his focus on Alexander's face.
"I, a multibillionaire and a well known man, won't dare report things such as this to the police! It will be a scandal! So what else can I do? I hired someone from the underground society to do the job and find that bastard so I could punch him to death! How dare he stole my belongings!"
"Who did you hire?"
"The one from the Callisto family. The Slayer." Zeke replied with a dark smile sending chills to Alexander.
The Callisto family was one of the huge and well known mafia family. They became even more stronger when one of the top mafia family joined forces with them just a year ago. And one of their trump card is the so called 'Slayer'.
"Why hire the dude when you just want the theif to be catched? You know why he was named as the 'Slayer' right? He kills people without batting an eyelash!" Alexander inquired.
"No. No. He's a friend of mine, so he's the easiest one to call for a favor. And I already told him not kill the bastard because I will be the one to rip his dick!"
"Wait. You're having close ties with a killer?" Alexander asked in astonishment.
"So what? He's good!" Zeke remarked.
"Fuck! That's not good." Alexander disagreed. Zeke's face turned sour.
"Oh shut up! Where are you going anyway?" Zeke asked seeing that Alexander was ready to head out somewhere.
Just as Zeke was talking about it, Alexanders car stopped right in front of them and his secretary came out of the driver's seat.
"I'm going to look for a house to move in. I can't just crash into your mansion for the whole month!" With that, Alexander jump into his car and sped out of the residence.
--
Alexander had kept his eyes focus on the road as his secretary kept on scrolling on his tablet at hand.
"Sir, I've searched for hundreds of available houses in the city and I think all of them would suffice your criteria. Um... do you want a house by the beach sir?" His secretary asked.
Beach... Alexander couldn't even remember when was the last time he went to the beach. What more, he can't even remember how the sand would feel like on his skin. But the thought of having a house by the beach would feel romantic and somewhat cozy. Every day, you could wake up to the most beautiful view your eyes could lay first thing in the morning.
Well, Lay is still the most beautiful thing that I always wanted to wake up with. Alexander held a blissful smile.
"Maybe... I'll think about it."
Alexander's day went well. He drove around the city countless of times in search for a house befitting for a person as him.

Meanwhile, on the same time, Lay was looking at some piles of documents when his door opened and came his son running into his embrace. Lay quickly stood up from his chair and went to hug Caleb.
"How's school buddy?"
"Yeah... it was good!" Caleb chirped as Lay ruffled his now long hair. Noticing it, he voiced out his concerns towards his son.
"Your hair is growing so fast! I think you need a haircut buddy." Lay stated as he brushed his long fingers to Calebs black hair.
"Not as long as your hair isn't longer than mine dad! I want to go to the salon with you together. Lets have a twin haircut!" Caleb chirped as he hugged his dad lovingly.
"Oh... kids these days are really on another level."
Lay looked up and there his brother stood by the door, both of his arm nestled on his chest while a playful smirk decorated his lips. He was still dressed in his business attire and a black coat.
Diam has been away for three months from a business trip and he just arrived in the city just now. But immediately phoned Lay that he wanted to fetch his nephew from school.
"So how is Andy? Is his pregnancy going well?"
"Yup! But his frequent mood swings is really something I can't handle. Last time, he got angry at me when I just went and massage his foot. He quickly kick me out from our room and let me slept on the sofa!" Diam complained.
Lay laughed. His brother finally has his very own first baby. It was sad that they happen to missed each other's childhood just because they were forced to be apart from each other. Now that they had found one another, they will work their way up to get to know and fill up the missing moments of their childhood by sticking and depending on each other.
"I heard he's back."
Lay immediately stiffened upon hearing those words. He looked down at Caleb who sitting on his lap fiddling with his phone. Lay knew sooner or later that Alexander will have his way in meeting his son.
"Caleb? Why don't go and accompany your uncle Bob bake some cakes. You like cakes right?" Lay cooed. Caleb looked up with a bright smile and asked.
"I can?" Lay nodded before Caleb jumped to his feet and went scrambling outside his office.
"Even if you hide your son to him, the truth will sooner come out brother. I am not being biased here Lay but you should weigh everything out. It's okay if you don't want to have another close relationship with Alexander but for the sake of Caleb, he has the right to know that he do had a father to begin with and same to Alexander. He should know his own flesh and blood." Diam stated. Lay stayed silent as he sat at the sofa opposite to Diam.
"Caleb has been asking about his other dad whenever I see him. He said that you wouldn't talk about it so your child had to come running to me to asked on his own. Don't you think it's time to consider Caleb's wish? I know you, we still hold grudge againts the Miers for doing this to us but we couldn't do anything to erase the history brother. Please think about it." Diam pleaded.
Lay let out a tired sigh and slowly looked up at his brother. "I will think about it."
