Brentin's POV
I didn't even see her walk in. I smelt her. The delicious smell of my mate, Aaryana, hit me full force in the pack meeting room. She didn't smell like herself. I brushed it off and I turned around and stared at her. God she is beautiful. She seemed to have a new glow around her now. Now that she left me. Did she mate with another wolf? Is that why she is glowing? This thought made my wolf and I go crazy. There's no way she would do that. We're mates.
"Hypocrite," My wolf interjected.
"Fuck off," I replied.
We all took a seat at our designated chairs. Alpha Allen was the first one to speak. I wasn't completely listening to him, but when I heard him mention that she did more than we knew, I asked, "What other things has she done?"
"He looked at me with disgust in his eyes and replied professionally, "She has set up a plan for her alpha mate to attack your pack in one to two weeks. Her and her mate planned this for two and a half years. My tracker, whom I assigned to follow her, heard her conversation with her mate. So there is treason towards her pack, her Luna, and her Alpha."
"Ex-Luna." Aaryana is quick to correct.
My wolf whined inside my head and I looked at the table and slumped my shoulders. She didn't come back for me or my wolf. She came back for Julie and Julie only.
"Regardless," Alpha Allen continued, "she needs to be punished. And everyone knows the punishment for treason is death. So, Brentin, are you ready to lose your whore like you did your mate?" He finally snapped in front of the pack. My wolf whined and I looked back at Aaryana.
"I can't overthrow the way our laws work. She committed treason, she shall face the consequences." I replied continuing to look at her, mentally begging for her to come sit next to me and just forgive me and take me back. She just rolled her eyes and looked away.
I forced myself to listen to Alpha Allen when he spoke. "Well, I need Marty and Tommy to take her to the holding cells. I will decide on a date for her punishment later today. Right now, Aaryana, her beta, third in command and warrior are going to train everyone in this pack. So go outside and get ready for some hard training. This is a precaution, if Alpha Kip does not see his mate tonight, he might just attack sooner. Oh, Marty and Tommy, make sure she doesn't have anything on her, especially her phone." He then dispersed the meeting and left.
I walked upstairs to my room and sat on my bed. I put my face in my hands and just thought what the fuck I did with my life. I stood up and grabbed a vase on my desk and threw it against the wall so it shattered.
"She didn't come for us. She didn't come for us." My wolf kept repeating in my head. I grabbed my head.
"Stop, please, stop!" I groaned to the pounding of my head.
"You deserve it." He sneered. I sighed as the pain slowly diminished.
I walked to the window and saw my beautiful mate. She was training my pack. My ex-pack. Fuck. I saw her demanding people around calmly, perfect for a Luna.
"Our Luna." My wolf whispered.
I ignored him and continued to watch her from afar. For seven hours. I just couldn't stop. She was so pretty, no, perfect. She was so sweet, and pretty doesn't even describe it. I hurt her so much.
My door opened and Alpha Allen told me without stepping in, "Pack meeting." Then just left.
I sighed and walked out of my bedroom doo and downstairs to the meeting room. When I walked in, Aaryana's eyes were lit up.
"It's for me. She's happy to see me." I told my wolf happily.
"You know it's not." He snapped back.
We sat down and Alpha Allen started to speak. He talked about the options for Julie's death, but I already knew them and just looked at the table silently. When he finished the options, everybody started to shout their answers.
"Write your answers down so that we can take the tally." Aaryana boomed over everyone else. I was so proud, her voice could be louder than a crowd, an alpha voice.
Everybody instantly started to scribble down what they wanted and gave it to Aaryana. She looked through them and started to mark on a piece of paper to count them.
Aaryana's POV
When I was counting the votes, most went to silver and wolfs bane because they are the most painful. But when I picked up a paper, it had the best idea I've ever heard...
Use her as bait for Kip.
Alpha Kip's POV
"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?" I thundered. I've been waiting for Julie the last two hours in the forest. She hasn't even been near here, I can smell it. I am so worried for her safety and just pray she's alright. I quickly got angry again and I started to rip the limbs off trees and punch holes into the trunk. The birds flew away and small critters scurried. I stopped and put my hands to my side, my fists dripping with blood.
"I will fine her. I will find her no matter what it takes." I then turned around and walked back to my pack house.

Just want to let you all know I lost all of the chapter I had on my computer. I was forced to restore it to factory settings and my dumb self forgot to backup my files onto a flash drive or anything. So now for the rest of the chapters, I have to start from scratch. Also, show @jaciemayo and @shaz4ever some love. They are really great! Anyways, I hope you enjoy Jacie's chapter.
