Aaryana's POV
How could I give him another chance? He hurt me once, he can do it again. Yes, I felt bad because I kept the kids away from him, but that doesn't mean that I had to give him another chance. I need to talk to someone about this, get some advice. I don't know if I did the right thing or not.
I went to Antoine's office, where I knew either him or dad would be. I knocked on the slightly ajar door and heard my father say, "Come in."
"Dad, I need your help. I don't know if I made the right choice, so I need some advice." I told him. He nodded his head for me to continue. "Well, Brentin came here, he found out about the kids and I told him that I would give him a second chance. But just as friends, nothing more and nothing less right now. I want the kids to be able to know their father, so that's the reason why I said it."
"Well, Aaryana, the choice is yours. Every man should have the chance to know his children. But, if I were you, I wouldn't forgive him as easily. I mean, he did cheat on you for two years, so don't forgive him that easily. Make him earn your trust back. Make him see how you felt when you found him cheating on you, if need be. The one thing I want to know is what all did he say when you made this choice." He said.
"He said, 'I want; no I need to be in their lives. I need to be able to help them, watch as they take their first step, say their first words; I want to be able to build memories with them.' That's what he told me about the kids. Then he told me, 'Well, right now, I'll take what I can get. If it's just friendship and seeing our kids, I'm okay with that. But I will prove myself to you and the kids. And, I never said I'm sorry, but I am. You will never know how sorry I am. You will never know how much I regret everything that I put you through. You will never know how hard it is for me to see the disappointment and disgust in your eyes when you look at me. But I will prove it all to you.' That's what he said about us." I told my dad.
I watched the emotions flash across his face before he quickly put on an emotionless face. "It seems to me that he really didn't start trying until he found out about the kids. He has three kids that are his. That he knows are his. So, maybe that's why he is saying all of that. What are you going to do to make him prove himself?" He asked.
"I don't know, dad. I haven't thought that far ahead. That's why I came to you for advice. What am I supposed to do?" I asked him.
"That is up to you Aary. Put him through hell. Make him rue the day that he ever cheated on you. Make him feel your pain. Hell, make him jealous. I don't know. That's all I have right now. But, whatever you do don't let him play you for a fool. He fooled you for two years; don't let him do it again." He told me. I nodded. "Also, since it's just friendship right now, see what he's willing to do to prove himself. See how sorry he really is. See how much he really regrets everything he did. Until then, keep that disappointed look in your eyes."
"Thank you dad, and just so you know, he won't make a fool of me again. This is a trial run." I told him. I then hugged him and went back up to my children. I thought about everything he told me. I mean I could do all of that, would he accept all the challenges or would he give up at the first sign of trouble? Did he really regret everything? Was my dad right that it was just about the kids? Do I really want to make him jealous? Do I really want to make him feel my pain? Will he once again play me for a fool? How far is he willing to go to prove himself?
I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice someone else in my room until I walked into them. I looked up to see............
Julie's POV
I have been locked up for about 4 days. Aaryana has always come in here to torture me. She comes every day. She comes in at least 3-4 times a day. She will beat me with a whip, cut me with a knife, weaken me with wolfs bane and silver. She already pulled all of my fingernails off, so she couldn't do that anymore. But, she more than makes up for it, She has let guys come in here and beat me too. The only thing she hasn't allowed is rape, which surprises me yet makes me happy. She keeps trying to get more information on Kip and the attack.
Well, this is all I know about the attack; Kip is coming in 2 more days. It was supposed to be in another week but he's coming early to rescue me. He is bringing all of his warriors to help him, and since no one knows this, they won't be prepared for it. But, the downfall of all of that is, Alpha Allen's pack has been staying here or around the border. Or that's what I heard anyways from all the chatter in the pack link. Since I was never officially kicked out of the pack, I can still hear through the mind link.
*How are you today? Have you received any more beatings? Is it getting worse?* Kip asked me through the mate link. I smile slightly.
*Only one beating today. But, it's still early.* I tell him.
*Well, I got something planned for them that they will never see coming.* He told me.
*Like what?* I ask suspiciously. I knew it was bad just by the way he said it.
*Oh, don't worry your pretty little head about it. Just know that I have everything planned out. You should be free in a couple of days.* He says kind of evilly.
*Ok?* I said but it sounded more like a question.
*Just worry about keeping yourself alive until I can get there. Everything else I have taken care of.* He snarls.
*Alright, so I will see you in a couple days?* I asked.
*Yes.* He answered then cut the link.
Unknown POV
I can't believe he wanted me to come here and beat her. She was just doing what the law requires. If a werewolf commits treason they are to be sentenced by death. This might be my next thing because I can't beat a woman.
I quietly snuck into her room and stood by her door. I watched as she came in, looking deep in thought. So deep in thought that she didn't even know I was there until she walked into me. She looked up at me, surprise evident on her face. She opened her mouth to scream and I quickly covered her mouth. "Look I'm here to give you some information. I can't do what I was told to do, so I am going to give you all the information I know. If I let you go do you promise not to scream?"
She looked at me curiously then nodded her head. I quickly let go of her. "What information do you have?" She asked me.
"It's about my alpha. He's planning an attack soon. As in two days." I told her. Her eyes widened and she looked at me in shock.
"That's treason against your pack. You could die." She muttered. "If this is what you want to do, you need to tell my father and brother as well." She turned to walk out of the room and motioned for me to follow her. We walked down the stairs to the office. She just walked in. "Dad, get Antoine in here. This man has information that we all need to hear, information on an attack that is supposed to happen in two days." She told the man, her father.
"He's on his way." Her father said a minute after she told him. Two minutes later another guy came into the office. He looked at me, looked at his sister then looked at his father.
"What's going on?" He asked looking at me.
"Antoine, I was down here earlier to get some advice from dad. By the time I got back upstairs, this man was in my room. I didn't notice until I walked into him. I was about to scream but he covered my mouth and told me that he had some information to give me that has to do with an attack that is to be in two days, an attack by his alpha and the warriors. So here we are now." She told him.
"What? That's treason against your pack!" Antoine exclaimed. I nodded.
"I know this. But, I couldn't do what he wanted me to do. So, all I ask for in exchange for the information is protection from him." I told them. They all nodded. Antoine then motioned for me to continue with the information. "It seems that you have my alpha's mate and you are torturing her. He is not too pleased about that and they have been talking through the mate link. She relays to him all that you do to her. He is going to attack in two days. He wanted me to beat Aaryana the same way she beats his mate, Julie. I couldn't do it, because I don't believe in beating women. So, I decided to tell you instead."
They all looked at me in shock. "Kip is your alpha?" Antoine asked.
"Not anymore." I said. "As long as I get accepted into one of your packs, then I won't be in his pack anymore."
They all looked at each other, then Aaryana nodded. "You can join my pack, if you prove yourself during the attack. Until then, you are to keep in contact with him. Tell him we have captured you and you are being held prisoner." She said. I nodded and did just that.
*Alpha Kip?* I said through the mind link.
*Yes?* He asked exasperated.
*Sir, I have been captured. She wasn't alone when she came to her room. She had two guys with her and they attacked me. They have me locked in a cell.* I told him.
*Well, you will be saved in a couple days.* He said. *I will keep a constant link with you just to see that you are doing alright and to see how they are torturing you.*
*Yes, sir.* I said then cut the link.
"It's done." I told them. They all nodded.
"Now, let's see how well he does against three packs at once, including the strongest pack in the world." Antoine said. I looked at him questioningly. "Aaryana's pack is the strongest pack in the world." He explained. I nodded. We then all left the meeting room. I was given a guest room in between all the alpha's rooms. Well, this should be exciting, but as long as I have their protection and I don't have to rule under Kip anymore, I will be alright.
Alpha Kip's POV
I had just gotten done talking to my mate when my best fighter mind linked me. I had sent him to beat the life out of Brentin's mate, Alpha Allen's daughter. He was to report to me whether it was a success or not.
*Alpha Kip?* He called through the mind link.
*Yes?* I asked exasperated and hoping that the mission was a success.
*Sir, I have been captured. She wasn't alone when she came to her room. She had two guys with her and they attacked me. They have me locked in a cell.* He told me. Well that just messes up everything.
*Well, you will be saved in a couple days.* I said. *I will keep a constant link with you just to see that you are doing alright and to see how they are torturing you. I might attack a little bit sooner. I might attack tomorrow, around midnight or so.*
*Yes, sir.* He said then cut the link.
I can't believe that bitch captured my best fighter. I still don't understand how he got captured. It was supposed to be an easy mission. Go in there, beat the hell out of her, put her into the hospital fighting for her life, but no he gets caught. Well, just two more days and I can get him and my whore of a mate back. Then I can put her in a cell; have my way with her while having a true Luna by my side. They will never see it coming. Brentin, Aaryana and Allen better be prepared. This will be the fight of all fights, and I am determined to win it. I will become alpha of 2 packs besides mine. Taking over Brentin's pack was always my goal, but getting Allen's pack too, there will be no pack that will want to mess with me then.
