Aaryana's POV
I contemplated different types of torture for Kip. I thought them all through and decided I would do the best one. One that wouldn't cause any pain to anyone, well besides Kip. I was thinking of sexual torture, but then I thought of Brentin. He would automatically kill Kip if I did that, so that leaves me with silver cuffs that have syringe like things inside of them to pump wolfs bane into his system if he tries to escape or something. I couldn't put him through a lot of torture because; it would hurt me and my wolf. So, I would do the easiest form of torture.
It has been a few days since dad died. Well, a few days since Kip killed him. We had a funeral for him fit for a king. Every day since dad died, I have thought about torturing Kip in different ways, but he isn't worth it. Maybe if we had his chosen mate then it would be worth him fighting for, or worth us doing more to him.
I was sitting in the office when Ryah came in. "Aaryana, I need to talk to you." She said. I nodded for her to continue.
"Well, I have been having contact with my cousin, who is in Kip's pack. He said that Raea is going to attack in about three more days. She wants Kip back. She's been having the warriors train the remaining pack members to prepare them for attack." She told me.
"Really? Well, she must love him a lot then huh? I guess we will have to be on guard then. But I didn't think she would attack this soon." I told her.
"She's crazy. She's definitely not right in the head. Never has been really. But if she knows someone is standing in her way of getting what she wants, she will fight to the death." She informed me.
"Ok. Thanks Ryah. I will look into it and have our men prepared." I told her. She nodded her head and then walked out of the office. I then made the preparations for a pack meeting with all 3 packs. Since my brother and I have the family link, I mind linked him first.
*Antoine, I have just received some news on an upcoming attack. I need you and your pack here pronto.*
*What attack? By who?* He asked me.
*That will be explained at the pack meeting. All three packs need to be there so let me contact these two packs and let them know as well.* I told him. I then cut my link to him. *Quan, we have a pack meeting as soon as Antoine's pack gets here.*
*Alright, I will have our pack there. Want me to tell Brentin's pack as well?* He asked.
*Yes, that would help a lot. Thanks.* I told him then cut the mind link with him. Then I went to talk to Kip. He would know what the attack is really about. He would also know why they are attacking so soon. But if I had to guess, I'd say it's because they think that we are weak and too busy mourning to worry about the packs' safety. As soon as I reached his cell, I let myself in.
"Aaryana, what a lovely surprise. Haven't seen you since the day I killed your father." He stated like he was talking about the weather.
"Well, that's because I couldn't stand looking at a murderer's face." I replied.
"But yet, here you are. I have to say, I am curious as to why you are visiting." He said.
"Well, I heard that your lovely chosen mate is planning on attacking soon. Within three days if my sources are correct." I tell him. He looks slightly shocked, and then he starts smirking.
"I'm not telling you anything. I would like to see how many of your loved ones she can kill." He said smugly. I didn't want it to have to come to this, but I got our knee splitter. We only use it to extract information from rogues or enemies.
I put his legs in between both pieces of metal that had silver spikes on it, along with 2 massive bolts. I slowly started turning the bolts to tighten it on his legs. I watched as his face went from smug to slightly fearful. "Kip, you will tell me everything you know. Or, I will keep tightening this until your knees are shattered beyond repair. Now, why is your chosen mate attacking in three days?" I asked.
"I told you, I'm not saying anything." He stated. So I tightened the bolts some more. Just until they pierced the skin.
"Are you sure you won't tell me?" I asked. He nodded his head vigorously. "Such a hero, I wonder if your chosen mate will do the same for you." I sneered while tightening the bolts more. I heard it tear through his muscle. He screamed out in agony. "Ready to tell me now?" He still shook his head no. So I tightened it up some more. Then I kept tightening it up until I heard his ear piercing scream, and the crushing of bones.
"She's attacking to save me. She knew it was a possibility and so she planned it all out before I even attacked." He said.
"Why so soon?" I asked him. He shook his head, so I wiggled the knee splitter until he screamed out in agony again. "Why so soon?" I repeated my question.
"Because I had told her that you guys will be too weak to fight because you are in mourning." He said.
"Oh, Kip, I'm disappointed in you mate." I sneered. "You're trying to kill me?" I asked.
"No, I just don't want to be locked up. I also want to run my pack and Brentin's pack. Is that too much to ask?" He snarled.
"Well, yes, honestly it is. Why? Well, because Brentin's pack is now under my command. Dad made that final before he died." I told him. "So the only way for you to take over his pack is to kill me. Or mate me, which I don't see happening anytime soon or at all for that matter."
As I finished saying that, Antoine mind linked me. *Aary, we are in the meeting room. Along with your pack and Brentin's.*
*Alright, I will be there soon.* I mind linked him. Then I looked at Kip, "Well, mate, I will see you later. I have a pack meeting to conduct." I told him and then walked back up to the meeting.
Kip's POV
That crazy bitch! My mate, Aaryana just shattered my knees. It isn't enough that she has me handcuffed to a wall with silver cuffs. I had tried to jerk them from the walls, but somehow this pack had found a way to have the cuffs inject wolfs bane into my system if I tried to get away. So, that is no help because wolfs bane weakens my wolf. Well, it weakens any wolf. Then, when my wolf is weak, I can't contact my wolf or my pack. So it leaves me kind of alone.
I wonder what else they have in store for me. I know Antoine wants to get his hands on me, along with Brentin. But, the question is; will they do worse than Aaryana did? Will Brentin be able to hurt me? Will Antoine just torture me or be the one to kill me? Will Aaryana let him kill me? Will she let Brentin kill me? I mean, we are mates so she can't really hurt me too much because it will hurt her wolf. But, could she let anyone else hurt or kill me?
I was sitting there thinking of all of these questions when I heard my mate, well my chosen mate, Raea, mind link me. *Kip, where are you? Are you hurt? What have they done to you?* She fired question after question at me.
*I am in one of the cells. I don't know which pack house I am in. But it's either the Night Star or the Morning Star pack house. My knees are shattered and the silver is draining me. As long as I don't move too much I'm good because their handcuffs inject wolfs bane into my system if I try to move or jerk them from the wall.* I told her.
*Well, we will be there in three days to get you.* She told me.
*Yes, I know. So do they. You have a snitch somewhere in the pack. You need to figure out who the snitch is.* I told her.
*I will be fine. As long as I get you back I don't care.* She told me. Then she cut the mind link.
Raea's POV
We are attacking the Morning Star and Night Star pack in three days. I just hope that we make it there in enough time to keep Kip from getting hurt anymore. It's gonna be hard enough for him to heal with the silver cuffs, let alone the bitch crushing his knees. I mean, who does that? That is so morbid.
I watched as the warriors were training our remaining pack members. They were getting good. Hopefully that will be enough to help take down those godforsaken packs. Hopefully we can take down the alphas of the packs and gain all three packs as well. Then, I and Kip's pack will be the strongest in the world. Also the biggest.
As I was thinking of that, the lead warrior came up to me. "Raea, we have all the members trained almost as well as the warriors. Well besides the ones that are under sixteen years old." He told me.
"Why not the ones under sixteen years old? They need to help get their alpha back too. Train them with weapons. Also, it's Luna, not Raea. You'd best remember that." I told him.
"Yes, Luna, I will have someone train them with weapons." He said then walked away. The Morning Star and Night Star packs are not going to know what hit them. Yes they know we are attacking in 3 days. What they don't know, is that we will have weapons on our side as well.
Antoine's POV (At pack meeting)
I watched as Aaryana made her way onto the stage with me, Brentin and our Betas. She looked at us, nodded her head in acknowledgement and then turned to the packs. "I have some news. I was just told this today by Ryah, the Night Star's Luna. There will be an attack in three days. I don't know what time, I don't know what they are bringing, but I do know why." She said. I looked at her confused. Then I looked at Ryah. Why couldn't she tell me this news?
"What are they coming for?" Brentin asked.
"Kip. They might possibly be trying to take over the packs as well. We have three days to train because for the past few days, we haven't done anything. They think we are still in mourning and won't be able to protect our packs and territories." Aaryana said.
"Anything we should know ahead of time? I mean, are we taking any prisoners? Are we killing them all? Or what?" I asked her.
"Kill them all but the 'Luna.' She is the one calling the shots. I want to torture her in front of Kip and then kill her. Then we need to figure out what to do with Kip. We can either let him go, which if we do he will most likely get a bunch of rogues together and come after us again. Or we can keep him prisoner, torturing him daily. Or we can kill him. But whatever the choice, if there is any extreme torture or killing, I will not be present for it seeing how my wolf sees him as her mate." She said. "That's all, just remember to train daily. I don't know if they are bringing weapons or not, but we need to have some just to be safe."
She walked down off the stage and went to Lydia who had her kids while I went to Ryah. "Why didn't you tell me any of that?" I asked her.
"I don't know. I figured I would tell Aaryana because she is practically running two packs right now. I forgot about you being an alpha because you don't act like most alphas. You're not pigheaded, arrogant or cocky. You act more like a regular wolf and I'm sorry. I just completely forgot." Ryah told me.
I looked in her eyes looking for any signs of her lying, but I couldn't find one. "It's alright. Just the next time, tell me before you tell anyone else. Ok?" I asked. She nodded. I looked around and noticed we were the only ones still left in the meeting room, so I grabbed her hand and we headed back to our home to get some rest before starting training. I have seen Aaryana's training and it was brutal. So we would need all the rest we could get.
