Kip's POV
It seemed like I waited forever for Aaryana to get done talking to her father. But in reality it only took an hour before she showed up at Antoine's cell to talk to me. I heard her walk in and take a deep breath, but when she seen what was left of the cell she gasped. The cell door was completely ripped off and standing against another cell. I figured she would just stand outside the cell to talk to me, but she grabbed a chair and came in. Once she was seated, she started talking. "First of all, I want to say sorry for what I said earlier. You saved my life and I should have thanked you for that, but instead I turned into a bitch and blamed everything on you." She said looking down guiltily.
"It's fine. I would have done that no matter what." I told her. She looked up at me and gave me a small smile.
"Secondly, I want to say sorry for how I treated you. I had no right to say that I would trust Brentin before you. Well, in a way I did because I knew him before I knew you, but still it doesn't mean that I do. Brentin is still trying to earn my trust back, so, no, I don't trust him." She told me. "Did you have any actual mate feelings towards Reae? I mean, is she your mate as well or anything like that?"
I instantly shook my head no. "She was just a chosen mate. After I seen how Julie was, I wanted someone to rule beside me that wasn't willing to sleep with anything. Don't get me wrong, I loved Julie, well my wolf did, but I actually have a stronger pull towards you than I did her." I told her.
"Ok. So, why did you choose Reae as your mate? I mean, she's pretty but that's about it. She seems like a self-centered bitch." She said. I started chuckling.
"When I first chose her, she wasn't like that. She didn't start acting like that until I claimed her as my chosen mate. Once that happened, everything went downhill. She was always demanding and wanting more, which is one of the reasons I attacked your dad and these packs." I told her honestly.
"What are the other reasons?" She asked.
"Well, I was pissed off. My birth parents gave me up to one of the coldest alphas I know. The only one I had to show me any kind of love was my adoptive mother, well until she died anyways. After she died, I was the alpha's punching bag. He'd call me everything from worthless to piece of shit and much worse. He didn't even want to train me to become alpha, even though he didn't have any kids of his own. He would have rather had the pack fall then to have me as the alpha. So, I had his best trainer train me, with some monetary gain, until I was strong enough to take him on. The last time I saw him is the day I challenged him for the alpha title. As you know, those fights are to the death and well, I'm still here so naturally that means I won." I told her. "But then I was also pissed that Brentin had it all. He had two loving parents, a mate that was faithful to him, a pack that respected him, hell he had it all. He even had Julie. So, I wanted him out of the picture as well. The thing I didn't count on was finding out that you were my mate as well. I mean, picture it. I just watched my mate die, then here you come and my wolf calls out 'mate!' how the hell was I supposed to act? Then you had me thrown in Brentin's dungeon and I know you didn't really want to hurt me, you just wanted answers. Yet, you came in there fearless, ready to face the whole world without anyone by your side. You questioned me and then crushed my knees so that I would give you the answers you needed." I chuckled at the memory.
"Wow, I was horrible! Yet, after all of that, you would still risk your life to save me. Why?" She asked.
"I couldn't bear the thought of losing another mate. Julie was hard enough and our bond was weak compared to mine and yours. Just imagine what it would have done if I would have lost you. It would have killed me." I told her. "Look, we don't have to be mates. Just as long as I can be in your life, I will be fine. I can be friends with you if that's all you want. But, if Brentin hurts you again, I will kill him myself."
"No you won't. If he hurts me again, he loses me and the kids. That will be punishment enough for him. But, I think you need to sort everything out with you biological family. I don't want to be mates with anyone, I just want some friends that I know I can rely on when times get tough. But, I will tell you like I told Brentin, you only have one chance. You mess it up, I'm gone. I'm out of your life for good. So, that means no sexual advances towards me, no lying to me, and no using me to get you further ahead or out of this cell." She told me.
"Alright, I can handle that. But, I am not ready, nor do I think I will ever be ready to talk to my biological family. They made their choice, it wasn't me. So, if one day they come to me and want me to make a choice, it damn sure won't be them." I told her. She nodded then got up to leave.
"One more thing, if I don't get the answers I want from Reae, I will torture her. On that note, I have to head to Brentin's cells to see if she is awake yet." She said. She then waved and walked away. So, she's going to give me a chance as friends, nothing else. I can handle that, it might help me out in the long run.
Allen's POV (Wonder who his mate is....well we are about to find out!)
After spending a few hours with Antoine and Aaryana, I went to spend time with my grandchildren. When I walked in the door, I noticed a beautiful woman sitting there with the grandkids and another child. My wolf automatically called out 'Mate!' I sat there and stared at her for a moment. She was gorgeous. Chestnut colored hair, jade green eyes, full figure, luscious pink lips, she was absolute perfection. She looked up as soon as I shut the door behind me, she then came over to introduce herself. "I'm Lydia. This is my adopted son, Eden. And these 3 beautiful babies are my friend, Aaryana's triplets. We have Daniel, Angelica and Zander." She said.
"I am Aaryana's dad, Allen." I said. Her eyes got wide.
"But, ain't you dead? They just had a funeral service for you and everything!" She exclaimed. She started to freak out, so I touched her shoulder and she calmed down.
"I was, but I wasn't. I can't tell you anything about it, well mainly because it was for the moon goddess." I told her. She looked up at me and nodded her head, then she looked at me kinda confused.
"Why is my wolf saying that you are her mate? My mate died years ago." She told me.
"The moon goddess gave me a second chance mate. I didn't expect to find you this soon, but I am glad that I did." I told her. I then gently kissed her lips. At first, she froze up, but then, she started kissing back and soon the kiss got heated. I pulled back from her and smiled. "We've got time for that. Right now, let's spend time with the grandchildren and our son."
She smiled and brought Eden over to where I was sitting with the triplets. The whole time, she was telling him who I was and who the triplets were now to him. Once we spent time with them, fed them, changed them and put them to bed, we went to tell Aaryana the good news. We found her just coming into the pack house.
"Aaryana, I have some great news!" I told her. She looked up at me and looked confused.
"What's that?" She asked.
"I have found my second chance mate. Aaryana, I believe you already know Lydia. She's my second chance mate." I told her excitedly.
"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you. Have you told Antoine yet?" She asked.
"Thanks and no not yet. You're the first one, besides the kids that we have told." I told her smiling.
"Well, let's get Antoine here so you can tell him. He needs to know this too. He can also bring his mate, Ryah, so that you can finally meet her." Aaryana exclaimed. She then went to the kids room and checked on the babies, came back down and said, "Antoine and Ryah are on their way. Let's go into the kitchen, I'm hungry and I bet everyone else is too."
We followed her into the kitchen where she made some chicken parmesan. She then made garlic bread and some sweet tea to go with it. By the time she was done, Antoine and Ryah were sitting in the kitchen waiting with us. While we ate, we talked and introduced our mates. When we were all done, Lydia and I went up to the kids room so that we could keep watch over them, Antoine and Ryah went to their house, and Aaryana went to her room to get some rest.

Ok, I personally think this chapter kinda sucks. But, I wanted to give you guys something before Christmas, so I hope it's not that bad. If I get another chapter before Christmas, I will upload it and then try to add another chapter. This book is coming to a close, maybe in another 3-4 chapters, then @cheerz2life will be writing a sequel to it in the kids' POV, so stay tuned for that.
