Brentin's POV
I decided that Aaryana needed some time to think, so Julie and I left the room. I came down and noticed my beta's sitting there looking heartbroken and miserable. After 2 hours, I figured, well ok she's had ample amount of time to calm down, now we can talk rationally. I get upstairs to see her gone. I checked for her electronics, extra money that I knew she saved and the bank cards in her dads name. They were for emergencies, and they were gone. Where could she be? Then when I looked on her dresser I found a note, wanting to know what it said, I opened it and read it.
Brentin,
You have cheated on me for 2 years. You have betrayed me and destroyed my trust. But that's ok. I will overcome this. I will become stronger. But I just wanted to let you know that I am gone. I can't stay where I am not respected. You actually had the nerve to alpha command the beta's and whoever else knew, not to tell me you were cheating. Well, it didn't work, cause I still found out. Don't try calling me or anything, I already changed my number. Don't try looking for me either. Be with your whore and your 'child'. Hell, the baby probably ain't even yours. But, that is not my concern. My concern is to tell you, that I loathe you. And I hope my daddy kicks your ass. Even though, I know he won't. He is too mature to do that. But I can bet he has a plan for you, once he finds out anyways. And I will be sitting back laughing my ass off. I hope you have fun watching this pack fall apart, with you ruling it, there's no doubt in my mind that it will. So bye and I hope I never see you again. If I do, I will make sure you rue the day you met me and every time you cheated on me.

So that's it? She's gone? I can't believe she left me. My mate. She is what keeps me sane. But she finds out I cheated, and I got my mistress pregnant. And she fucking leaves? Isn't a mate supposed to forgive and forget??
I keep thinking back to our final conversation. I admitted to everything. The cheating for 2 years. The pregnancy. And all she can say is she rejects me? That she rejects any ties to this pack? That she resigns as the Luna? And what the hell does she mean by 'Thanks for the gift'?
I need to find her. I don't care what the note says, I have got to find her. The only way to do that is a search party. So I need to call a pack meeting. *Pack meeting in 10 minutes.* I say through the pack mind link.
~At pack meeting~
"I have called this meeting so we can set up a search party to find your Luna, Aaryana. Aaryana left this pack. She rejected all ties to it." I say. I watch as the pack goes from looking shocked to pure outrage. This is not good. Not good at all.
"Why did she leave?" A little boy of about 5 asked. How do I answer that? Do I tell him the truth, that I cheated on her and she found out? Or, do I tell him a partial truth? I can't tell him everything I would tell the adults, so I got to tell him something suitable for a child to hear.
"Cause I made some wrong choices. And she caught me." I answer.
"Well, personally, I think you deserved it. Wait until her dad finds out. He'll declare war on you. And I say 'on you' because I reject all ties with this pack." Rachel, the beta female said.
"As do I, you commanded us not to tell her. You're a man whore and deserve the worst punishment ever. I hope that the moon goddess punishes you severely, or at least her father does. You sicken me." Bill, my beta/friend said. Well I guess he's not my beta/friend anymore. But before this happened, we used to be really close.
As soon as he said that about 20 other pack members stood up and cut their ties to the pack. They then walked out to go pack their stuff. Since they rejected any ties to the pack, they now become rogue and would be seen as a threat by the pack.
"What did you command them not to tell her?" Missy the Omega asked.
"That I was cheating on her." I reply.
"With who?" Missy asked.
"Julie." I said.
"I would have run away too. You showed her the ultimate betrayal. Well, alpha, you have lost my respect, as well as my families. We also reject any ties to this pack." She said. Then her, her mate and their 3 kids walked out.
I looked up to see the rest of the pack, well what's left of it, looking at me in disgust. Then I heard my father say, "You just doomed us. This pack is going to crumble. You are a disgrace. I disown you as my son."
Then my mother stood up and slapped me across the face. "I raised you better than this. I have never been so disappointed in you. I'm sorry but until you fix this, I also disown you as my son." She said. I have never seen her so mad. But then again, I have never messed up to this extent before either.
"I don't know if I can fix this." I said. And, honestly, I don't think I can. She absolutely despises me. I don't know if she will ever forgive me for this.
"Why?" She asked. She was angry, she was shaking so bad that she was on the verge of shifting. I know I have to tell her the truth, but if I do, she might kill me. Well, here goes nothing.
"Because I got Julie pregnant." I replied. "I didn't mean to get her pregnant and I could have sworn that I used protection every time we did anything. But, she is pregnant and she says that it's mine. I'm so sorry."
"Well, then you've gotta lie in the bed you made. I hope Julie makes you happy. Because she's all you've got left." My mother said. Then she walked away with tears rolling down her face. I know this was hurting her. She looked at Aaryana as a daughter and I just fucked it up. I looked up at my dad, he was seething with anger. I knew I was about to get taught a lesson or a very long speech. What I didn't expect was for my dad to start throwing punches while talking to me.
"You knocked another bitch up?" Punch. "You cheated on her the whole fucking time?" Kick. "You brought shame to your parents for a whore? A thrill?" More punches. "You doomed the future of this pack, the pack that my family line made, for a worthless damned woman that you wanted to have a good time with?" Kick to the stomach. "Did you ever get Aaryana pregnant?" Punch to the jaw. "Did you even think about your fucking mate, you stupid bastard?" That's when he started punching and kicking. It went on for about 30 more minutes with me dodging and him punching. Then finally his anger dwindled down, so I took my chance to explain to him why I did what I did.
"Yes, dad, I got another woman pregnant. Was it intentional? No. Did I cheat on her the whole time? Yes I did. I didn't mean to bring shame onto the family, nor this pack. And, yes, honestly it was a thrill not being caught. I didn't doom us. There will be an heir born, if not from Aaryana then from Julie. As far as I know I never got Aaryana pregnant. No I didn't think of my mate, because even though she was designed for me, I don't love her. I did at first, but along the way, I fell in love with Julie. Will Aaryana ever have my children? Probably not. But that doesn't mean that I can't have an heir. And Julie is not a whore. She has been faithful to me." I said.
"She has? Has she really Brentin? Do you not smell another scent on her when she comes back from her 'walks'? Have you not paid attention to the way she smells? I have. I know that she's been cheating on you. While you're mate was being faithful to you, you chose to fall in love with a woman that doesn't give two shits about you. When are you going to open your eyes and see that?" He sneered.
"Dad, I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry that I messed shit up with my mate. I'm sorry that I have brought shame upon you. But, Julie is the woman I love." I said.
"Then there is no sense in looking for Aaryana. Why bring her back so that you can humiliate her?" He asked.
"Because my wolf is still in love with her. He's going crazy because he don't know where she is. And to be honest it's driving me insane." I replied. He just shook his head in disappointment.
"Brentin, you don't know what you have until it's gone. And, in your case, it's always going to be gone. She was a great girl. Made a wonderful luna. But you messed it up. And, for your sake, I'm sorry. For her, I hope the moon goddess finds her another mate, because you don't deserve to have a mate." He said sadly. Then walked out of the office. But before the door closed I heard him tell my mom, "We should have kept one of the other boys."
Jasmine's POV (Brentin's mom)
"What do you mean other boys? I only had Brentin and his twin!" I snapped when we got to our room.
"Before I found you, I had gotten my girlfriend at the time pregnant. She had him a week before I found you. She told me that I could take him but I didn't want to put that on you seeing as you were a new Luna." Damien explained.
"Why are you just telling me of this?" I demanded.
"Because Brentin has failed this pack. If one of the other boys were alpha of this pack, maybe this pack would have a fighting chance." He replied. "I'm going for a run to clear my head." He said just as he jumped out the window turning into his wolf.
