Aaryana's POV
I've been in Paris for 2 months now. When I was younger, before my mother passed away, my family used to come here and rent a house in the middle of the woods. Dad still had connections with the owner, and I still remembered the owner. So I called her up after a day of being here and asked her if she still owned the house, if she was using it and if she wanted to rent or sell it. She told me that she didn't use it anymore; it needed some work done on it and that she would sell it to me for $50,000. So I took the money out of my bank account and bought the house. I moved in the same day I bought it and started the work on it. All it really needed was cleaned and the windows needed fixed. Other than that it was in perfect condition.
Two weeks after moving in, 7 other wolves came onto the northern part my property. They had become rogues because they didn't trust their alpha. He was a deranged man and raped the women of their pack. Whether they were mated or not. The women were too afraid to do anything besides 3 of them. One of them had just shifted and the alpha was trying to come onto them. And 4 male wolves left. The wolves were Aiyana, Latisha, Destiny, Domonick, Justin, Thomas and Marty. They needed a new pack, so we decided to become a pack. Justin and Aiyana were mates and the youngest at 16. Marty and Destiny were mates and 17 years old. And Domonick and Latisha were mates and 18. So only Thomas needed to find his mate. Then our pack would be complete.
Flashback to when she found them....
I'm running the perimeter of my land. Dyena, my wolf, was going crazy and she needed a run, so I decided to run my own patrol and to ease my mind at the same time. When I got to the northern part of my territory, I came across some scents that I didn't know and decided to go check it out. I came to a clearing in the woods and saw 7 wolves. 3 she wolves and 4 male wolves. "Shift." I told them. They shifted then I asked, "Who are you? What are you doing on my land?"
"I am Justin. This is my mate, Aiyana. Then we have Latisha, Destiny, Thomas, Marty and Domonick. Destiny is Marty's mate, and Latisha is Domonick's mate. We ran away from our pack. Our alpha was crazy. He just wants power. But he abuses that power on women. He rapes the women and almost raped my mate, Aiyana. She had just shifted and didn't have the strength to fight back so I helped her out. We have had enough of him and so we ran. We are looking for another pack to join. Can we speak to your alpha?" Justin asked. I looked at him like he was crazy. Didn't I just say that this was MY land? Which that means I am the owner, aka I have no alpha.
"I have no alpha. I am a lone wolf who also ran from her pack. But I am an alpha in my own right." I said. I figured I would tell them the truth, because as of right now, until I talk to the elders/council I am a rogue myself.
"Can we join your pack then? It'll just be us." Justin asked curiously. I looked to the others and I saw hope shining in their eyes. Hope for a future better than what they just left behind. Hope for happiness. Hope for a family. I couldn't say no. So I said the first thing that my alpha and Luna side were wanting me to say.
"We can form a pack. But we need a name for the pack. And we need to call the elders to let them know that we are a new pack so we won't be considered rogues." I answered.
End flashback
Yes we have named our pack; it's the Tranquil Darkness pack. I am the alpha of the pack. Marty is the beta. Domonick is our warrior. And the rest are treated equally. We went to the elders and registered our pack so that we wouldn't be considered rogues. And then I told my pack about what I went through. They were all surprised when I told them I was 3 months pregnant now. Only 3 more months to go, then they'll be here. The whole pack is excited. Me? I'm excited and scared. Excited because I can't wait to see my children. But, scared because I don't want anything to happen to them and this is the first time I have been pregnant.
After they found out I was pregnant, the girls decided to throw me a baby shower. The guys would decorate and set up everything that was going to be needed. Then, Aiyana and Latisha would make the food. The guys said they wanted to be there to, because 'we can't have our friend/sister having a baby shower and be unprotected if anyone comes while the baby shower is going on. And besides, we can't leave our mates.' Yeah, the girls tried to argue with them but that didn't work. So while the girls went and did the shopping for the babies, I decided to call the elders and get a copy of their records so that I could know what to be on the lookout for. As in siblings, who their old alpha was since they wouldn't tell me his name, and pretty much everything about them.
I dialed the elders number and waited for them to answer. "Hello?" I heard.
"This is the new alpha, Aaryana of the Tranquil Darkness pack. I was calling to see what all information you had on Aiyana, Latisha, Destiny, Marty, Tommy, Domonick and Justin." I said.
"Well, I can send you a copy of it all. The only part that we don't have down is who their mates are and the girls wolves." The elder told me.
"Well, I can fill that in. I know their wolf colors and mates. Then I will send you the info that you don't have." I said.
"No need to. All we need to know is the number of wolves in your pack and the color of their wolves." He said.
"Alright. Well, Aiyana's is a charcoal gray, Latisha's is a light brown and Destiny's is a caramel color." I told him.
"Thank you. You should have the info in about 2 to 3 hours. I sent our messenger to give it to you." He said then hung up.
While waiting on the messenger to get here, I decided to make some food for me and the guys. Seeing how the girls will probably eat at the mall. I made homemade chicken parmesan. The guys came in and ate, then I did the dishes. After I was done with the dishes, I went into the living room to watch a little tv. I flipped through the channels until I came across Criminal Minds, I love this show. Halfway through it, the doorbell rang. I got up and answered it, just to come face to face with a guy I didn't know, probably the messenger.
"May I help you?" I asked.
"Yes, I am looking for Alpha Aaryana. I have some files for her." He said.
"I am alpha Aaryana." I told him. He looked me over and then gave me the files.
"Elder Stevens said to make sure that you get this and no one else." He said while handing me a card.
"What's it for?" I asked.
"I don't know. All I know is he said to give it to you and no one else. He said it's valuable." The messenger replied.
"Alright, thank you. Before you head back, would you like something to drink or eat?" I asked.
"Could I have some water or tea?" He asked.
"Yes, come in and follow me." I said. He followed me to the kitchen where I made him a glass of iced tea and a plate of chicken parmesan. I knew he had to be hungry after that run. It took him 3 hours to get here, and if we were in a car it would take at least 5 hours. So he used a lot of energy, and what better way to get energy, than to eat food? After he got done eating, we walked to the door.
"Thank you for the drink and food but I must be on my way now." He said.
"Ok. You're welcome. Be safe." I told him. He nodded his head, shifted and then took off.
