Chapter 310: Chapter 310 Meeting with Subsidiary City Leaders

In the past, Wilson has opposed the ‘Order of the Black Tower’; however, they were a lot stronger and threatened him that if does anything funny, they would kill him and his family.

Even though Wilson didn’t fear death, he was worried about his family and his citizens.

If a new city leader takes over Starlight City, Wilson knew the citizens would suffer. Hence, he decided to come to an agreement that he would let the ‘Order of the Black Tower’ operate their [Supreme Market] in his city whereas they should not mess with the operation of Starlight city.

However, after deciding to go against them with the support of the Talent Swallowing Hero, Wilson didn’t want Leo to leave the city.

“Who said you will be taking them on your own?”

Leo replied with a cold smile under his mask.

Since Starlight City had become his subsidiary city, why would Leo abandon it so easily? He had already thought of a plan when going against the ‘Order of the Black Tower’.

Wilson became curious as he asked Leo about his plan.

“What’s the hurry? Wait.”

Leo revealed a slight smile under his mask as he muttered, ‘Since I have a special item now, I will use it; instead of using [Telepathy].’

Previously, Leo thought of using [Telepathy] to complete his goals in Starlight City; however, he received a special item from the [City Conquering Tab], and Leo decided to see how it works.

With a single thought, a portal appeared before Leo and he entered without any hesitation.

‘What is it?’

Wilson, on the other hand, was shocked by the sudden appearance of the portal; however, seeing that the Talent Swallowing Hero was entering the portal, he followed quietly.

Inside the Spatial Meeting Room,

As the name suggests, it was a room that had a long table surrounded by some exquisite chairs and of course, there was a majestic chair for Leo to sit on.

‘System, how do I bring others into this Meeting Room?’

Looking at the pure white-coloured walls of the meeting room, Leo asked the system about it.

The host just has to call the name of the city leaders of his subsidiary cities.

‘Oh. That’s simple.’

After receiving the reply from the system, Leo silently muttered, ‘Arlo, Hanna.’

In the next second, two portals opened as a young man and woman in her late twenties walked out of them.

The young man was Arlo, the city leader of Leo’s first subsidiary city, New Starlight City whereas the woman was the city leader of Phirie City which was Leo’s second subsidiary city.

Unlike Arlo, Hanna was not Leo’s follower. She was a member of the ‘Order of the Healing Angels’ and an ally.

Nevertheless, the system concluded Phirie City as his subsidiary city and even rewarded him with a Level 5 supreme-ranked guardian beast that protects the city in times of crisis.

Of course, it was just a phantom of some beast that could fight for five or ten minutes and not a real guardian beast.

“Master.”

“Sir Talent Swallowing Hero.”

Even though they didn’t know why they entered this pure-white-coloured room, when they saw Leo, they hurriedly greeted him in a respectful tone.

“Everyone, introduce yourselves.”

Leo nodded at them and settled in the master chair before asking them to introduce themselves.

“Arlo, the city leader of New Starlight City. Nice to meet you.”

“Hanna, the city leader of Phirie City and an elder of the ‘Order of the Healing Angels’.”

“Wilson, the city leader of Starlight City. Happy to meet you.”

The city leaders have never met with one another before and briefly, introduced themselves before sitting in their chairs.

“From now on, if you have anything urgent and important to discuss, you can enter this room and call for an emergency meeting with other city leaders, including me.”

Soon, Leo briefly explained how the ‘Spatial Meeting Room’ works and at what times they should use it.

The three city leaders were surprised and looked at the insides of the room once more.

“Since you know how this room works, let’s get to the main reason why I summoned you here.”

Leo didn’t beat around the bush in front of his subsidiary city leaders and directly came to the main point.

“Arlo is the youngest city leader here and the strongest one. Also, not only him, in his city, there were ten supreme-ranked heroes who were also supreme-ranked cultivators”

Pointing at Arlo, Leo started, “It’s not that I am praising him a little too much but he deserves it.”

Both Hanna and Wilson were shocked as they looked at Wilson as though he were some kind of monster.

Actually, Arlo’s tribe in Beastnet has more than 100 supreme-ranked heroes plus starlight cultivators; however, he only brought 10 of them to this world and in the future, more would come.

Of course, Leo didn’t talk about it and continued what he wanted to say, “He will send two supreme-ranked heroes each to your cities to protect you and your cities from the secret organizations.”

“However, you have to keep it a secret that your cities have two additional supremer-ranked heroes.”

Leo sensed the surprised looks on Hanna and Wilson; however, he didn’t stop speaking as he continued, “In return, help him send some manpower, resources. In short, help him in developing his city with your already established cities.”

As for now, in New Starlight City, there were only 100 citizens and it needs some citizens.

“Sure.”

The two city leaders agreed instantly.

Who would let go of such a good offer? Hence, they didn’t think much and said, “We will send some citizens without any criminal records that were willing to migrate the cities.”

Who would not enter the city that had seven supreme-ranked heroes? Therefore, the two city leaders were not worried that the citizens would not migrate to the cities.

“Thank you.”

Since Hanna and Wilson were older than him, Arlo was polite and respectful as he thanked them.

“Also, when one city is in danger, the other cities should help them. I don’t think I have to say that, right?”

Leo asked them.

“Of course. Since we are allies, we should help each other.”

“Yes, yes.”

The three city leaders nodded in agreement.

“Good. You two can leave now.”

Soon, Leo sent Hanna and Wilson back as he spoke to Arlo, “There is a supreme-ranked [God Ruins] that was created by someone who follows both Cultivation Path and ‘Path of Heroes’.”

“Clear it and receive all the items from that [God Ruins].”

Even though Leo also follows both the ‘Cultivation Path’ and ‘Path of Heroes’, he was not much interested in the cultivation or cultivation inheritance of some otherworldly beings.
